Laying in the grass on his back, Baji looked up at the sky at the clouds that seemed to loll by. He blinked his eyes and tilted his head at a few, spotting an elephant, a dear, a leopard with a deformed leg, and one that looked like a beetle on twig stilts. Smirking, he reached his paws into the air, pretending to knock the beetle over from his legs made of cloud twigs as the clouds slowly began to fade and distort. A yawn escaped his muzzle. He was bored. Utterly bored. If only someone interesting was around to play with.....someone that wasn't mother that is. He got tired of tormenting her, even though it was super fun most of the time.

 For a moment, Poikilo almost worried. Baji was quiet, and so was mother... Everything was quiet. Had mother finally snapped and swiped Baji a little too hard? The young cub perked up, peering over the tall grass and boulders to catch a glimpse of his pale brother. "One... two..." He counted his brothers as he spotted them, but the third was missing. His tail twitched as his face twisted into a sneer, rage obviously building at the thought of Celile pushing his brothers around. If she hurt him, he'd... Oh there he is.
The snarl quickly vanished and Poikilo pranced towards his brother with a grin of relief. "Baji, you're really quiet today. Is there somethin' on your mind?"

Blinking his two toned eyes, Baji tilted his head back to glance at his brother. A smirk played over his muzzle as he flipped onto his paws faster than lightning. "Well THERE you are! Finally. I was gettin like...so bored." he said with extreme exaggeration on the word there.
His tail tip thumped the ground rather repeatedly, a sign that he was about to get into one of his huge, long, over dramatic stories. "Like seriously, I was this bored." he said and held out his paws as wiiiiiiiide as he could. "I was about to go join a pack of cheetahs because it would be so much more fun than bein around that thing we call a mom." he snorted and smirked a bit as he pawed delicately at Poi's hair tuft. "Buuuut now that your here, I'm not so bored." he flashed a cheesy grin. "So what'cha wanna do? Please tell me you want to do something. I'm tired of knockin cloud bugs of their cloud twigs and watchin elephants float by." He said with a face that showed just how painfully bored he was. (Kinda like 8| )

Poikilo couldn't help but laugh quietly as Baji leaped into typical Baji-action. Yep, he was perfectly fine. The pink cub slid to his haunches and casually watched his brother with a little smirk. Once the white leopard's mouth was finally finished running, Poi let the silence stretch for a couple of seconds with a staring contest.... Just to tease him. Of course, the whole time, Poi's smile just got toothier and wider across his face.
Finally, when the smile started getting painful, Poikilo broke the silence. "Let's find some mud and bugs and put it in mom's bed." Poi's smile earned some sinister points at the thought. "Mom hates mud and bugs. And maybe we can find some other stuff she hates and put it there too." Poikilo knew he could count on Baji to be up for something as innocently wicked as this. Harmless fun that would certainly end in a scolding, but seriously... when were they not being scolded? Their very existence was a reason for Celile to scream.
So... Poi figured they might as well make their miserable existence worth while.

Baji's two toned eyes narrowed at Poi as he accepted the staring challenge. He focused completely, but it was of no use. Baji couldn't sit still even if he were chained to the earth. He let out a sigh and flicked his tail as his brother began to smirk wider and wider. He wondered if Poi was ever going to speak. And then he did.
THIS was why Baji loved Poi. He knew how to have fun. Not like his other brother who was always so super tough mister serious guy. And his other brother who was like...well hardly noticeable.
Baji's ears flattened against his head as an equally wicked smirk crossed his lips. "I do like the way you thing brother!" he grinned and sprang to his hind paws. "I saw this bug over there, that was like DIS BIG. FER SERUS!" he held out his paws even wider this time and stood on his very tip toes to get his point across. When he lost balance and came back down on all fours, he gave a little leap. "Bet mom would lllluuuUUUUUUUUV havin him in her bed."

Poikilo chuckled, ignoring Baji's exaggeration with the skill one only possesses when his brother was constantly exaggerating. "Did it have claws? It would be better if it had claws. Oh, and fangs. Then it might bite her a**. Hah!" Poi let his head tilt towards the sky as he laughed his wicked little laugh. "As long as it has teeth and claws, I don't care about the size!" He lifted himself from his rump and spun on his pads towards the greenest part of the Savannah. Bugs liked to hide in the green, after all... so that's where they ought to search!
"Keep up, Baji. I bet I can find a bug with bigger fangs than you can." Poikilo teased his brother as he romped through the tall grass, blue tail swaying behind him leisurely. If he made it into a challenging game, there was no doubt they'd find a bug painful enough to stick in Celile's "bed". He couldn't wait to see the look on her face when the thing sunk it's fangs into her tail. Maybe it'd make up for all the times she made Ume's face so sad and droopy that Poi thought his eyes might fall off. Probably not, but it was worth a try.

Baji was still going on about this bug he had saw when he noticed his brother was not even there anymore. Rolling his two toned eyes, he took off after his brother, leaping nimbly along on his paws, his bushy tail swaying behind him. He stuck his nose into a bush and watched several harmless and rather pretty bugs skitter away. "Yer on. Cuz I'ma find a bigger bug than that other one. And it had fangs too...and like eight bazakajilllion eyeballs." he exclaimed. It was all lies of course. He had never seen a bug eight eyes, let alone eight 'bazakajilllion'.
When he rooted around, he managed to squirm his way deeper into the bush. His nose wrinkled at a foul smell and before he knew it, some big beetle was spraying some nasty a** liquid all in his face. "GROSS. You'll do perfectly." he grinned and snagged it with his teeth before hopping out the other side of the bush. He looked around for Poi until he saw a blue and pink butt sticking out of a bush on the other side of him. "Hoffs dis onfe.?" he asked through a mouth full of nasty tasting beetle.

Poikilo had found his own share of bugs as well, the thin kind with a lot of thin long legs to scale the leaves. It's a good thing they moved kind of slow so Poi could snag a few by gently coaxing them onto his white paw. The family of spiders hitched a ride on Poikilo's pink fur where they would stay until he dropped them off in Celile's bed... where they would promptly be squished by her butt.
Slowly and gently, careful not to throw his passengers off, Poikilo turned to see his brother... with a mouthful of disgusting stink beetle. Through the scrunching of his nose, Poikilo smirked. It was oddly endearing, the bug suit him perfectly. "That's great, Baji." He said, starting off towards their resting place. "Now find some mud and we can put them in mom's bed."
This would be so much fun. Even Caitan must get some laughs out of this. And if it was really that successful, he might just make a hobby out of it.

Baji nodded and flicked his head, only causing the beetle to spew more of its disgusting stink. Good thing he grabbed the head and not the butt. A throat full of that would be most unpleasant. He saved the idea for later. Pinning his ears back against his head, Baji swiveled around on his paws till he spotted a rather large mud puddle made from left over rain water.
Within seconds, Baji was not only at the puddle, but in it, rolling around like a pig. His limbs and tail flailed around in the air until they seemed to disappear into the mud all together. Careful not to let go of his beetle, which was now also covered in mud, as was most of the inside of Baji's mouth, he stuck his head up, the only thing seen was his two colored eyes. He wondered what Poi would think of this. A smirk crossed his lips as he let out a loud growl to signal his brother.

Poikilo was already halfway at his destination before Baji growled to alert his presence. The pink cub turned to view the much much filthier cub's work of art. He couldn't help but bark laughter at the sight. "Wow, Baji! You really know how to 'get some mud', duntcha? Mom's gunna loooove it." Sarcasm dominated his voice as he spoke, giving his brother a wink before turning and making the trip back to Celile's bed.
When they arrived, Poikilo dipped his paw and gently coaxed the spiders out of his fur and into the pile of leaves. "Stay there, guys." He said playfully, giving Baji a glance and a nod to signal him to put the mud and disgusting stink bug in the bed as well.
Without waiting for him to finish his dastardly deed, Poikilo leaped behind a bush and concealed himself within the leaves and thorns. "Now... we wait."

Baji grinned as best he could with a mouth full of beetle and waddled out of the mud pile like a big sticky brown beast. Since the mud was dripping fast, he hauled a** over to the bed pile and shook the mud aaaallll over it. He then padded it down so it was all nice and gooey. Flung his paw over there a little bit. Shook his rear there...there...oh and mustn't forget there either.
After he was finished sprinkling the mud, Baji gently set down the beetle who was happy to be released. Giving it a little paw, he made it spew more of its foul smelling liquid aaaallll over the middle of Celile's bed. He then smirked and glanced around for Poi. "Ohy Poi, whered you go?" he said before she spotted two toned eyes peeking out of a bush and lept in with him, getting mud all over them both.

Poi couldn't help but laugh at his brother's display. He knew their cover would be blown if he was too loud, but he just couldn't contain it. Baji could be an annoying loud mouth the majority of the time, but he was the most entertaining of his family by far. Once Baji was finished and dived into their bush, the pink cub was spotted with mud. Poikilo wrapped an arm around him and hid his face in Baji's sticky wet fur to stifle his laughter. Mother was coming...! "Sshhh.... Watch!"
Celile was hobbling along the gravel, returning completely exhausted from an unsuccessful hunt. Her head sunk with fatigue and her only intention was to plop into her make-shift nest... but once she arrived, that goal was shattered. Not only was her bed completely filthy, it was also covered in a variety of insects and.. What the hell was that stench? Did someone s**t all over it, too?! With an irritated snarl, Celile limped further along the earth to find a new resting place.

Baji stiffled his own laughter, snickering into his brother's tuft of hair. He wrapped his own sticky paw around his bro and continued to wait. Wouldn't mother just loooooooooooooove this surprise?
And just then he saw her. His heart began to beat with anticipation. Oh it was so perfect. She was going to be sooo mad when she flopped into the stench. But....she....didn't? What..that wasn't fair. She wasn't supposed to do that! She was supposed to get angry. Scream, yell, hiss swat, something other than snarl. Instead she began to search for another resting place. No no no that wasn't right. With a pout he plopped down on his mud covered tush. Maybe next time they'd have to actually wait till she was in bed first.
