Again, Nyx was a tour guide, but this time in the labs. Team Rocket had received a new grunt and they were being placed in the labs. No one was just assigned randomly, of course; They didn't take foot soldiers and give them chemicals and tell them to get with the science, so that meant this new person had at least a basic grasping of some sort of science.
The small woman with mad scientist style white hair and a lab coat, waited in the lobby of the labs, where the elevators led, for the new addition to the department.

Yay! Elevator. So they're common and nothing really special, but Tambrey, as composed as she intends to appear when those doors open, is rather enjoying the elevator ride. Leaning in a corner, feeling the bumping vibration as it slides. She straightens rather quickly upon reaching her destination, leaving her standing somewhat awkwardly in the centre of the little box as the doors open.
She pushes her glasses up a little before disembarking, and spotting the white-haired woman waiting there. Ahah.
"Um. Hello. Tambrey. I mean. I'm Tambrey- I'm guessing... I'm to meet you. Ma'am." The last is added quickly; noting a higher rank agent and all...

"Nice to meet you, Tambrey. I'm Nyx." The scientist smiled, "Welcome to the labs." She pulled two plastic cards from one of her pockets, one looked like a credit card and the other was a name tag. "These are for you. You have basic level access. This card will get you into the main labs only, which is behind me." She demonstrated by swiping the key card and then handing the two objects to Tambrey. The light on the swiping mechanism turned green and Nyx turned the handle.
There was a time, not long ago, where most of the labs were open, but non-scientist personnel and a rampaging experiment caused the head of the department to do an overhaul of said department, which included increased security measures. "To the best of my knowledge, your department shouldn't be under lock and key. Once you're past this door, most of the labs are fairly open. The only areas that are really restricted are the cloning department, experiment quarters, and other delicate and classified experiment areas."

"Nyx." Tambrey repeated, committing the name to memory and returning the offered smile. So far, so good. Key cards, right. She watched the demonstration of how to use the card and then took the card and tag graciously as the light turned green. She nodded to show she was listening and following along as Nyx explained, what sounded to her, to be sensible security.
"Cloning, experiment, classified equal restricted. Okay, I can remember that..." She claimed, though the tip of her tongue poked at her cheek as she made the mental note. "Main lab should just fine for what I'd need... I mean- as far as I can plan, nothing of mine should explode or be very, uh, dangerous..." She eyed her name tag as she ended the sentence and decided to put it on there and then.

"Oh... well that's not any fun, now is it?" Nyx frowned. There wasn't much in the labs that couldn't explode, but most of the things were either small amounts of chemicals or highly unlikely to go kaboom. Dangerous was another thing all together. "I'm pretty sure almost everything down here is dangerous... Ah well. We have a number of safety precautions in effect to keep us either safe or contained."
Nyx named off some of the rooms as they passed them. Storage, office, more storage, lab, lab, break room, "This is the meeting room," She motioned to an open door leading to a large room covered in wipe boards with a sizable table and office chairs in the center. "We have weekly progress meetings here. You'll meet Miss Nadja here if you don't see her before hand. She's in charge of the department. You're lucky you're a scientist and not an engineer. Miss Nadja is wonderful." Nyx spoke with an eerie fondness to her voice.

"Well, uh, compared to the other stuff around here, I mean, not /as/ dangerous... Though, fun or not, I doubt explosions." Tam' grinned, beginning to relax around the rather likable white-haired woman. She nodded "Of course." Suspecting 'contained' might often take the preference over 'safe' in a few situations, as she listened to the informative tour.
More nodding and few mouthed repeats followed Nyx's pointing out of a few of the rooms, Tambrey making mental notes of where each one would be and memorizing routes to and from them. At her belt, Palu's pokeball wobbles; the bird curious and annoyed not to be out to nose around.
"Miss... Nadja? I'll surmise that she's the, uh, overseer here then? I am glad to hear good opinions of a boss so early... And, I think everyone is lucky that I'm not an engineer; there /would/ be explosions."

Nyx chuckled and continued moving, "Make sure to have a pokemon with you at all times down here. Either in a ball or out. The last thing you want is to be trapped between an escaped experiment and the exit with no pokemon or sedative gun." The scientist had an unfortunate experience with the charizard that had been mentioned, where she was in that exact situation. "Not that anything really escapes any more, but the day you forget is the day it'll happen."
Eventually she led them to a room full of cubicles, filing cabinets, and computers. "This is where you're going to be spending a lot of your time, at first. Other scientists, myself included, are going to give you all of the work we don't want to do." She grinned and laughed a little, "But don't worry. Everyone has to start out doing it, and you'll get your turn when we get another new staff member." Nyx sounded and looked amused. The break-in period had been her least favorite time, but she enjoyed having new grunts to repeat the cycle with.

Tambrey patted her pokeball at the advice, still reluctant to let the bird out in the lab for the moment. "Oh, I always have this one near..." She admitted, her eyes darting all around, eager to take each detail in. "Well, that's always the way- I'm not superstitious but there's something to be said for Murphy's Law."
And, as they reached the 'office space' of the labs, Tambreys eyebrow raised and then frowned slightly as she realised what was about to be said just before the words were heard. Still... She shrugged, and nodded, after -just- managing to resist an eye-roll. "Aheh. I'm actually disappointed in myself for not expecting this."

"Yeah. Every newbie gets the grunt work. No pun intended." Nyx continued on, heading into a set of hallways that seemed to only contain a few offices. "Miss Nadja's office is this one." Nyx pointed at a closed door with a name plate on it that did indeed belong to said Elite.
One of the pokeballs on Nyx's belt started to wiggle as well. No one emerged, however, as Nyx had taken the pokeballs to the tech department and had them readjusted to keep her pokemon from escaping on their own. Too many problems had arisen from one of the beasts knowing all too well how to get out.
"Allen's office is down here too, you'll meet him, probably at one of the meetings, he's an old grump, and hard to miss. Never stops scowling. Sort of like Seth." She didn't go on to explain who that was. "There isn't too much to show down here. If you have any questions about anything, most anyone will answer them, or Miss Nadja's door is most always open."

"Hm. I doubt it's so much a pun as a definition, really?" Tambrey wondered, as she continued to follow Nyx along through the hallways. She nodded again, still making mental notes; offices this time. So. Miss Nadja resides here."
Palu had had enough, of course, by this time and so out she came, eager to see what was being described- perhaps proud to show off that she could still escape her pokeball.
Tambrey blinked as her bird pokemon appeared and immediately took interest in Nyx's wobbling pokeball, but shrugged slightly, looking back at the closed door. "Always... open?"

"Yes." Nyx eyeballed the Pidgeotto as it escaped it's pokeball, but didn't seem alarmed. "Unless she is really busy or in an important meeting, if she is in her office, she's available. Not that you should bring her every little problem you have, but don't be afraid to let her know if there is something important."
The pokeball wiggled again and then went still. Apparently it hadn't learned how to break out again, yet. Nyx smirked; That'd teach him. "And that's it, really. Oh. And if you want to tweak the locking mechanisms on your pokeballs, the floor above us is the Tech Department." She smiled at the girl and her pokemon. Most of the people in Team Rocket always had at least one pokemon out with them, but they were creatures with free will, and sometimes ran off or got into trouble, especially without a watchful eye.
Nyx started to turn around to lead Tambrey to the janitor's closet (The most important room for new scientists) when the previously active pokeball opened and a large four armed balloon materialized out of the white light. "Blim!" The drifblim crossed a pair of his arms and put the other pair on his 'hips'. How dare his partner not introduce him! He was the most important part of everything!
"... This is Newton." She didn't explain any further, though she would if pressed, but started to walk down the hall as she had originally intended.

"Eh. The feathery one is Palu." Tambrey offered up before nodding along. "Ah. So. What sort of a problem is, um, an acceptable problem? I'm... beginning to suspect explosions or things on fire probably aren't given that stat- Uh!" She was somewhat taken aback by the sudden appearance of the large balloon; Palu, she was used to, and the type, but the Drifblim is worth a little bit of initial awe. "I... see." Eyeing the attitude, Tambrey decided to indulge the pokemon a little, offering a hand. "Nice to meet you, Newton."
"Pidge!" Palu shouted as the balloon appeared. She had been showing a lot of interest in the door; it's what was being talked about before and thus clearly important- being a smart and clearly important pokemon herself, Palu felt of course she should investigate this door. Until Newton appeared. She hopped up and down as Tambrey offered her hand, apparently not keen on the other pokemon already.
Tam' looked as Nyx began to walk down the hall and was ready to follow. after a handshake or not. "Shsh, Palu."

Newton shook the girl's hand, "Blim." Finally, someone realized he deserved some respect. He waved an arm at the Pidgeotto, rather unconcerned whether the pokemon liked him or not. After he let go of Tambrey's hand, he floated after his trainer.
"So, is today the day you start working, or is this just a tour day?" Nyx stopped at a door labeled 'janitor's closet'.

Tambrey followed along, smirking at Palu's reaction to Newton. "Be nice. That's a team mate now." She chided, reminding the bird of where they were and why. As they reached the Janitor's Closet, Tam' eyed it warily and a very slightly apprehensive grin twitched at the corner of her lip. "Honestly I didn't know there was a full tour, eh, day... But I'm guessing that's not going to get me out of anything is it...?"
Palu grumbled at her trainer's chiding, but hopped after the group obediently enough. Occasionally she would cast wary glances at the balloon pokemon, entirely distrusting.

"Alright, then. I'm going to leave you to it. You can normally find your assignments for the day on the computer, I'm sure someone already showed you how to do all that, since you showed up down here." Nyx smiled and pointed at the closet, "Cleaning supplies here. There are other ones scattered around too. They all say 'Janitor's Closet'." The agent flipped through her clip board and chuckled, "Looks like you're on beaker cleaning duty, Lab 12."
Newton made a gasping expression and covered his 'x'.
Nyx pointed at the wall, "There are signs that'll point you in the right direction, with the numbers. Every door has a label. If you get lost, just ask someone." She nodded to herself, "Alright. I have to get back to work soon, any questions?"
