Before you post, take a moment to read through the story and the rules. Some special rolls that occur may affect your character directly.
It was after the Atole battle that the Tri-Alliance decided it was past time to take the war to Cort's doorstep. The TA War Council debated for weeks and discussed military plans. Finally, it was decided that the campaign should begin with an invasion of Sigor, a star system occupied by the Dragonheart Empire, near the Atolian border. Sigor had a small satellite orbiting it, but it was densely populated. The moon had several industrial complexes that pushed out new machines for the DHE war effort daily. Several military bases housed thousands of soldiers. In orbit around the moon were shipyards and refueling platforms, to resupply the Dragonheart fleet. To take and hold the moon would cripple the Dragonheart military and Emperor Cort would soon see his conquest of the galaxy slipping through his fingers.
The moon was heavily fortified, and a head on invasion would mean heavy losses. The TA came up with a cunning plan to destroy the forward defenses. Com-buoys were deployed in neighboring systems that transmitted false information. The transmissions made it appear that the TA was amassing a huge force to strike deep into Dragonheart territory. The objective was to lead Dragonheart fleets away from Sigor. The second part of the plan was to remotely guide old freighters disguised as independent merchantmen into Sigor with the intent of aiding the DHE. If it worked, the freighters would then detonate the nuclear warheads in their cargo holds, destroying the orbiting platforms and damaging the DHE defenses.
If the ruse failed though, the TA would still go ahead with the invasion, at the risk of massive casualties. Sigor had to be taken, at any cost.

Rules 1. The Dragonheart Forces HP will depend on the rolls made during the Ruse and the Freighter Bomb portion of the event. 2. The Tri-Alliance will have varied health points depending on the army. 3. Each combatant starts out with 500 health points 4. Each combatant rolls 1 100-sided dice 5. The Dragonheart Forces will roll 1 100-sided dice every 3 turns and 2 100-sided dice every 6 turns 6. Whomever rolls the highest number wins the scuffle 7. The difference between the rolls determines the damage to the losing combatant 8. When a combatant’s health points reach 0, they are eliminated for three turns. At the end of three turns, the combatant’s health is regenerated to 150 8. If two TA commander health drops to 0, the Dragonheart Empire wins 9. If the Dragonheart Forces health drops to 0, the TA wins. 10. KO'ed Domers return to full health after three turns.

The Ruse The Tri-Alliance has transmitted a false message of invasion. On this turn, Admiral Jenson and Space Commander Winslet will roll 1 20-sided dice. If Space Commander Winslet’s roll is higher that Admiral Jenson’s, then Admiral Jenson will sent half of her fleet to deal with the ‘invasion,’ and thus dropping the fleet’s health by half. If Admiral Jenson’s roll is higher, than her fleet shall remain where they are.
Freighter Bombs The next phase of the Tri-Alliance’s plan is the cripple the moon’s defense. The dice rolls here are dependant on what happened during The Ruse. Admiral Jenson will roll 1 20-sided dice, 2 20-sided dice if she’s managed to roll higher than Commander Winslet. If Admiral Jenson scores at least a 20, then the freighters won’t be allowed to land. If Admiral Jenson scores below twenty, the freighters will land and eventually self-destruct, reducing Admiral Jenson’s health and the fleet’s health down to half.
Special Rolls Regular Legion Tactical Nuke: 10, 23, 33, 45, 50 A nuclear missile launched from a Roman battlecruiser onto a Dragonheart position. Because of radiation, damage lasts for 3 turns and inflicts 20 Damage per turn.
Provocatores Valiant charge: 54, 69, 70, 78, 90, 94 The Provocatores storm the enemy position. Even if the roll is lost, half of the roll deals damage to the Dragonheart forces.
Gigaton Nuke: 100 The Gigaton Nuke is much larger than the tactical nuke. Due to the sheer amount of radiation, all combatants will lose 45 HP per turn. Let's hope this only comes as a last resort.
Chiva's Warriors Ambush: The kendari warriors always deal at least 20 damage to the DHE, no matter what the roll.
Grand Fleet Marines Fleet Broadside: 33, 38, 42, 47, 52, 66, 75, 87 Regardless of the roll, Admiral Jenson receives 40 Damage. If Jenson's fleet has been destroyed, this does not go into effect.

The Ruse The invading battle group waited a few systems away from Sigor. Tensions were running high. There was no more planning to be done. The time to strike was now. A frigate broke away from the main group and jumped into hyperspace. When it reached the designated system, several airlocks opened up and deployed the com buoys into space. The transmissions were soon rocketing into space to be picked up by Dragonheart scanners. The frigate then left the system to rejoin the battle group. On board the massive carrier GRV Invictus, Space Commander Winslet waited.

After the death of her father, Admiral Livia had much to live up to. She sought to erase her father's failure. Nothing would stop her now. Things in the Sigor system were running fairly smoothly. The people in the colony were living peacefully, and weapons were being made on schedule.
It was then that she received a certain message. With the thread of a potential invasion, Admiral Jenson acted on instinct, something very unfamiliar to her. She sent her fleet to deal with the incoming invasion.
*Half of the fleet was sent to deal with the incoming invasion, depleting their forces by half: 3000 depletes to 1500.*

Freighter BombsWhen a scout corvette relayed the information that much of Jenson's fleet had left Sigor, the Space Commander breathed a sigh of relief. However, things were not over yet. In the next few hours, the explosive freighters would be joining the regular shipping traffic in and out of Sigor. As the large freighters approached the space docks and refueling platforms, the AI made contact with the Port Master and requested permission to dock.

Oblivious to what truly was going on, the port master allowed freighters were allowed to land for refueling.

For a few minutes, nothing happened. Then suddenly, there was a brilliant white light, followed by a blast wave. One of the refueling docks was suddenly in several pieces. Then there was another explosion...and another! Debris flew everywhere and smashed into ships and other refueling ports. In a matter of minutes, well over a thousand dock workers and personnel were dead. The few that remained found themselves battling overwhelming fires.
Then out of nowhere, a massive fleet jumped into the system and opened fire! The whole thing was a set up! The Tri-Alliance invasion fleet was right here in Sigor!

"Battle stations!" Admiral Jenson shouted after the explosion. She realized this was her fault. It was an obvious ruse. She shrugged as she thought about how incompetent she was at the moment.
However, she had her men to consider. They best thing now was to simply repel whomever was attacking them.
