Personally I loved it, but I felt as if the end was dragged out a bit. I've heard it be called "Power Rangers for Girls" before and I'd have to agree. (I liked Power Rangers as a kid though!) Believe it or not a lot of the costumes were reused between Sailor Moon and Super Sentai (which is where a lot of the CGI for Power Rangers comes from). I clashes rather horribly with anime/manga canon and I personally consider it to be a completely different storyline. However, Naoko Takeuchi worked DIRECTLY on it and even drew most of the costumes herself. (You can find them on wikimoon.org!) Since she had a direct influence on the making of the show a lot of fans feel that it's a completely legitamate series that deserves a watch. Though it definetly fits the "Sailor Moon" title and lives up to it rather well, it focuses a lot more on the girl's civilain problems and social deliemmas then any other adaption I've seen yet. If you can handle Soap Operas this won't be a problem but if you can't stand that stuff you just may want to leave this one alone. It's not as bad as Soap Operas can be, but it does have a bit of drama here and there. If you're expecting a page-by-page adaption this is NOT what you're looking for. In the beginning the storyline stays pretty close but branches off later and turns into it's own identity. If you're looking for Sailor Moon goodness with it's own twists and identity then this is for you! Even if you're not a live-action fan I would watch the first episode and give it a chance.

I have watched all 49 acts +Act 50 and Act 0 I really like this series. Sure its got some cheesy points in it but thats what makes it funny.

Yeah, the story was a bit to swallow. Took some getting used to. I thought how they did Luna was really cute. A lot of the monsters were pretty horribly done, but then again, it was probably the best they could do. I did, however, love the transformations. And the acting wasn't all that bad either.

A time or two, this show had me thinking about how succesful a modern Sailor Moon movie or series might pull off. Now, I think that in the hands of the right producer, anything is possible. I mean they successfully brought back something as retro as transformers, and no one thought they'd even attempt to do the Smurfs. I just can't help but think that not only would it be possible to make some awesome comeback, but that it could be very well done at the same time.

I love Zoisite's character more in the Live Action then his real self in the manga/anime.

Nephrite. Best counter part they ever did. I wish he was like that in the Anime/Manga. The whole Nephy/Ami love thing was cute in the show.

Jadeite same as his anime/manga counterpart...Always kissing Beryl's a**.

Kunzite. BAD a** then all of the Tennous put to together. I love his sadistic side of him in the live action.

I got to the part when mercury turns evil and then I started getting too busy. I never finished it. Now I fear I'll never finish. I'm so busy with school right now that I never have time.
