Ok, I tried to come up with a couple of avis that would actual look somewhat bellydance like. Keep in mind, I'm working with very little, and hence the somewhat sparse look for these two models:

I like #1 better. I think the pink face veil looks out of place with everything else being blue in #2, but it matches nicely with the skirt in #1.

I agree... I really wish they'd come out with veils in other colors. However, I have to work with what I have. I could use a pinkish flower as an element to make it tie together but it's unsatisfactory.

Of the two posted options, I like the first one better. The pink looks just too out of place with everything else being blue.

Noted. I really wish for a blue sheer veil. The Taj pants are great thoughy, since they've got good detail. Now I need a short vest with an open front that goes underbust, and a little semi sheer top with sleeves to peek through it..which they won't get. *laughs* A dried grass skirt might work with it, too...for an American Tribal dance look.

However, I prefer the shiny more amusing style of modern bellydance. *shrugs* Also, not an option here. *le sigh*

I tried the blue web shirt and it's too gothy, and not at all bellydancy...it bugged me so it's a no go. But it was a thought I had, too!

I got razzed for the veil again on my 1950s spacegirl costume, too...but dangit, I didn't have the orange torques to be a placeholder for my space bubble of greeny-green doom.

I wish they'd do a recolor. Pink veil. *snerks* Pale grey, or blue, please?
