Alright. ALOT of people feel that Tonks black-mailed Lupin into getting married. As they are my favorite couple because they are my two favorite characters, I'm a little offended by this, because I'm not quite sure that was J.K. Rowling's intent. I personally feel that she intended to show Remus feeling a hell of a lot of guilt because he made Tonks an outcast, and may have potentially passed on his affliction to his unborn son, not to make him feel trapped by her.

What are your views on this?

Nothing is true….

For one I've never heard people accuse Tonk's of blackmailing Remus into staying with her. IMO that thinking is probably the same butt hurt mentally that people have toward other characters b/c they didn't end up with the people they want them to end up with. But that's a whole-nother subject to its self.

To me I agree with Ayamae's view, that Remus felt horrible that he made Tonk's an outcast from the rest of the wizarding world, and even worse the fear of passing his condition onto an innocent unborn baby.

To me, the characters seemed as if they were... Thrown together, I believe describes it best. They had no history together, hadn't even met before the Order, and yet they end up together... And then die. Another tragedy in the stage that is life. And to me, that made them seem kind of like a plot device...

I know that that's probably not what J. K. had in mind, but it's the way that I personally perceive it.

I actually am rather fond of Snape. I also really like Neville, and was glad to see that in the Order Of The Phoenix and the Deathly Hallows everyone got to see the brave and courageous side of him we knew was there all along.

I always liked Snape. Though I must admit that Alan Rickman made me fall for him. His portrayal of Severus Snape has been BRILLIANT. Then again, ANYTHING Alan does is brilliant...sooo...
