Moving to be comfortable on the seat, a deep seated smile on her face. "Do I distract you Prince Ryan? Is that why you never seem to be in the same room with us for long - because you have too many duties to oversee?"

He shifts uncomfortably avoiding Dorian's eyes for fear of what they might hold. "Yes duties are very important. Thought I d-d-don't know if I would say I avoid you..."

"Oh, but you do. I attend to the recesses of the smaller study with a book or two I brought along...you have come in, and left with such a hurry in your step you would have thought I a wolf," she pause with a meaningful gaze. "A wolf who wanted to eat you up for desert."

"I don't seem to recall such things P-Princess Dorian. I don't think you a wolf honest." Well that was true she certainly wasn't a wolf. Lioness yes. Wolf no. "I-I guess I could perhaps make an effort to uh stay more often if you like..." Ryan crossed his fingers behind his back hoping and praying she didn't take him up on what he seen as just a kind offer.

With playful eyes she motions to the seat next to her, laying down the letter into her lap with the same motion. "Come, if you are not busy, let us have a talk. I know your sister well enough, but I have yet to really talk with you."

"I would care to take the time to get to know you Prince Ryan. After all, we are to be rulers of our own kingdoms and settling all this hostility will take the both of us knowing the other in a way that could be much more intimate than any other bond forged." smile. "So come, tell me of you."

Ryan's eyes widened slightly at her accepting though her words did hold some wisdom. "Uh more intimate? Wh-What exactly are you s-s-suggesting?" Recoils slightly in his seat though he does his best to hide the movement with a slight stretch. "Uh how about you tell me of-of you in-instead?"

"Afraid of intimacy and all it may entail are you sir?" a small laugh spilled forth. "I do mean that to settle peace the two of us must be acquainted in a way our parents did not care to be. Let us find out what the other does not like, what drives the other to the four corners of the earth, and how the other finds pleasure in life. Let us thrust into a new relationship so the fires of the new will burn away the old...and kindle something new between. There may yet be discoveries that you and I will find to our liking."

"I am not afraid. Oh I see sorry if I misunderstood.." Small blush. "I-I agree though we should not allow our kingdoms to suffer because we didn't take the time to get to know each other. Then again Nae knows you well enough. No I guess I should know you personally. Uh what would you like to know Lady?"

“Where does your passion lay?”

"Passion? Uh I don't really have one. Though reading I guess is as close as I get...And yourself?"

"People...getting to know them and their needs in every way possible. How may I be of service to people if I do not know what they want...what they need. After all, is not every ruler...just a vessle for people to reach their highest and truest pleasures out of life?"

Ryan nodded at Dorian as he couldn't help but notice her answer was much better than his own. "Yes you are right. You are a good Heir Princess. Much better than I am no doubt."

"Oh, I am very much sure that we could find something you are equally as good at Lord Ryan. Perhaps it just does not lay in the aspects of this room?"

"You give me much too much credit. I am not exceptional in anything really. Anyway perhaps we should get back to the questions?"

"I believe we are on track, in our own way. Every person has their own pace, every couple theirs. We are finding ours as we talk. But pray tell me...why are you so far away? How can you see if what I give you as answers rings truth if you sit so very far from where you can feel it for yourself?"

"Uh every couple?" It seemed a poor choice of words to Ryan. "Uh I guess there isn't really a way to know for sure." Blushes slightly then moves a little closer though still keeping plenty of room separating them. "Is that better?"

There was a smile that said more than words could on her face, very self satisfied in fact. "Truly it is so. In the future we could be as a couple should, close and work together, for the betterment of our kingdoms. And would you not want it to be so? After all, I would be horrified to find out that I might be wrong on all the favors that we could do each other to reach the truest of pleasures one could experience in life."

Ryan blinked taken aback by the words she spoke. He had already confused her words for something else once though now they really sounded like that. "Is that really necessary for the betterment of our kingdoms? I mean if we are too close then we might care less about the kingdoms theirselves and not do what is best for them. I mean what if the betterment of your country meant supporting another country in a war with mine?" Ryan was seriously hoping to steer the conversation away from it's current course,

"War? Why would there be war with your kingdom? It is done of such simple splendors that one has to know just where to look...which places to grace to find such a thing. It would be a shame to see such a scarring event as war fall on behest of this kingdom," she reached over and touched his hand, as though to reassure him. "But come Prince Ryan, do you not see the advantages of having a relationship so close that our kingdoms may easier blend with one another as we merge just a part of ourselves?"

"Uh war happens all the time for no other reason than wanting to conquer the other..." Ryan's hand flinched slightly as she touched it and he wanted to recoil and simply run from the room. Yet at the same time this was his sisters friend. Why did he have to come into the room instead of running the other way? "U-Uh yeah war would be terrible. Adv-Advantages?! Uh yeah I guess. I just don't know..."

"Oh, Prince Ryan, there could be a lot of Advantages of merging our interests in such an intimate fashion that we know eachother inside and out," She curled her fingers into his, flexing them lightly and tickling his palm purposefully.

Ryan's hand recoiled slightly as she tickled his palm. "In-Inside and o-out?! I am not entirely sure about that Prin-Princess. Friendship is not out of the question though."

Dorian laughed as she slowly let go of his hand, rising to stand. "What ever did you think I meant?"

Ryan rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment. "Uh that. I was simply stating it further.." Ryan silently cursed himself for even thinking that she would be remotely interested in him. It was a good thing she wasn't and it was painfully obvious that even if he did become interested in her in such a way she was far out of his league. "I-I should probably go.."

Dorian nodded, as though solemn about that. She leaned in and kissed his cheek in a familiar fairwell. She paused by his ear, "Wish I meant something else my dear prince?"

The princess of Avarice turned around, knowing full well what she had planted.

Ryan froze as Dorian planted a kiss on his cheek blushing furiously at her words. "N-N-No not at all." Standing up Ryan bolted off in the other direction wanting to get as far away from the Princess of Avarice as possible.
