ZONE 1: THE FESTIVE FOREST crossing time: 2 days The gnomes begin separating students back into their previous groups. "Better to make a couple targets rather than just a single large one! Eggs n' baskets, right?" Satisfied, one gnome calls out to the Oblinas, "Hey, snots, we'll be goin' this away!" The forest looms above, smelling of pine, peppermint, and woodsmoke. Here and there, students see something moving out of the corner of their eyes, along with the sound of rustling of pine needles. Maybe they really had been serious about there being battles? Quote: The OOC: this area takes 2 days to cross! When you make your "entry" post, your student does not get to post an "exit" until 48 hours later! You only need those two posts to cross, but your chances of getting to battle will be low if that's all you do, so go ahead and make with the regular RP here as well!

BATTLE INFO If an event GM quotes your post with an attack, then your student is under attack, ok. The battles will be one vs. one, and NOT group battles. To keep sanity, please just keep quoting the GMs posts. We do not care if the resulting quote tree is massive, right-o? YOU ALL START OUT WITH 25HP Regular Attacks- are unlimited as long as your character isn't KO'd - are a simple melee attack (punch or kick or ankle biting or w/e) to use: - roll 2 6-sided - subtract 6 from your total - the final amount is your damage (getting a negative number with a regular attack will not decrease your HP) JOY Weapons- JOY weapons are like FEAR attacks, only usable ONCE per battle. (The exception being the Healing Bell. It has 5 uses overall, and can be used outside of battle) Pick one and stick with it. Christmas Wreath -> A circle of green complete with lights. Throw onto the enemy. There's a lingering smell of burnt plastic in the air... Roll 2 6-sided dice. If the first roll is even, you hit. If is odd, you miss. The second roll determines how much damage you did if you hit. EXTREME SNOWBALL LAUNCHER 5000 Roll two 8-sided dice. The first dice is the amount of damage you deal to your opponent. The second dice is the unfortunate backlash done to you. A Sack Full of Joy Reach in and start bombarding your opponent with random trinkets. Roll 3 6-sided dice. Damage done is the AVERAGE of the numbers rolled. If the total is EVEN, you hit. If the total is ODD, you miss. Yellow Snow Do not eat. ---SUPPORT--- Tangled Christmas Lights Chuck the ball of tangled lights at your opponent. Roll 1 6-sided dice. If odd you missed. If even, your opponent can't move for one turn. Carol of the Bells It's a bell. Ring it and restore someone's HP by rolling 2 6-sided dice. Usable five times.

Awakening in a happy joyful forest in the middle of nowhere wasn't exactly a very reassuring sight. Xi had chosen the Carol of the Bells as his so called JOY weapon, tucking the pumpkin pills that they had given him into his pocket. It looked like his energy sucking abilities wouldn't be able to help him in this situation anymore. The petite boy stretched as he followed along with the gnome that had called for the students in his train car to follow along. Xi stopped though and waited for his train members to catch up. Even though he didn't know all of them too well, he felt a sort of connection with them after spending such a long time together in that train car. During the entire impact of the train crash, Xi had only managed to get a few bruises here and there but it didn't really matter since he was already undead anyways.
Being undead had it's advantages out here at least. For one, he couldn't really feel the cold because he was well... dead. It was all good, at least he still had his camera with him. Xi was surprised when the gnome earlier had explained that there would be fighting involved... even after Helma's little musical number, it was still hard to believe that such a happy place could be so violent.
The rustling in the trees around Xi did nothing to reassure the poor Jiang Shi as the sleepy, doe eyed boy glanced around the forest. This was going to a long day. Might as well make the best of it while he could... he snapped a picture of a nearby candy cane tree as the picture slid out of the camera compartment. Xi heaved a slight sigh, "And so, the journey begins..."

Laiha walked with a hunched back as she entered the forest. Every movement set her eyes to the trees. What, exactly, were they going to be fighting here? What did Christmas entail? Whatever they were, she was entirely prepared to destroy their lives with her teeth and remain alive with her bells.
A little snap caught her attention, and she jumped to see... well. That boy had been in her car before. Perhaps she would follow him. She watched the photo slide from his camera, and then lifted her bells. See? She had chosen these too. Maybe they should look out for each other.

Xi turned to look at the Devourer girl who was trying to catch his attention, "Oh, it's you!" he exclaimed softly as he walked over to her. He had never really interacted with her much, but making new friends now didn't sound like such a bad idea. Besides, he would need an ally if he was going to be out here.
"Today has been really crazy, hasn't it? First the entire thing with the ghost sheet, now all of this... I'm Meng Xiang by the way, though most of my friends just call me Xi. Not that I have many friends anyways, but... yeah. I don't think I ever got your name," Xi gave a small smile and continued, "I really hope that we can all stick together. It would probably be the best idea. I already have a feeling though that a few of us are going to want to split up, mainly the presumptuous ones. So we should form a group just in case, what do you think?" Xi tucked the photo he had just taken safely into his pocket.

Laiha leaned back some at Xi's rather flamboyant greeting. What was it with everyone thinking they could approach and speak and she'd be fine with it? Freaks, all of them. Regardless, having someone to battle with and steal heals from would be useful, and so she nodded. His reaction to the ghost deer seemed a little odd to her, considering she still carried what it had dropped with her. She thought a moment on the pros and cons of telling the boy her name, and her eyes narrowed as she fingered the handle of her bell. Well, what could it hurt?
"Laiha," she said, and that was all. She moved to a position beside the boy, or as close as her broad personal bubble would allow her to get, and eyed the trees again.

Things had been comfortable, to say the least, at the crash-site. Granted it was the site of a crash and not only were students bruised and battered--some were severely injured and 'hospitalized', but for the most part nothing truly nerve wrecking had come up. Kids were gathering up the balls to raid and fight, friends were latching on to one another for comfort...the trees, despite how menacing they may have looked from afar, did not seem so............scary.
As they approached the forest and entered its thick array of brightly colored pines, Natalia felt uneasy in her own burly skin. Lights were strung generously from tee to tree, candy hung like icicles from low branches...even the darkness of night did not seem to exist as they meandered the forest, the students unable to hide behind their own shadows.
To make matters worse, things began to move around them, causing an unnerving amount of racket in places Natalia NOR the others could see. It made her exceptionally wary...on her toes, the monster moved slowly but did not let her features show fear. Each brow was knit tightly, her eyes slit some what and trying to see out beyond her normal range. The student body on Oblina car looked cautious as a whole, and instinctually Natalia felt they had every right to.
Although the more human side of the were-lemur remained dormant within, Natalia perked when her eyes met with the purple skin of a ghoul, whose hunkered-over appearance mimicked her own when standing up-right. A fondness of the tiny child drew the lemur closer to her, those orange eyes always watching for something to come shooting out from the tree line.
She also kept a watchful eye on her travel companion Myr, who she wanted to keep close by just in case severe action needed to be taken.

Xi smiled as the monster girl told him her name, "Laiha? That's a nice name. Well, just stick with me dear, and we'll make it out of here in no time." The monster girl was quiet, to say the least. Xi felt a bit of pity for her earlier since it seemed as if nobody wanted to talk to her. Well, at least with the two of them it would all be fine. She didn't seem to want to stand too close to him though and he wondered what it was that made her so shy.
The idea of raiding this Sandy Claws person's workshop didn't exactly sound very appealing to the boy. He didn't want anyone to get hurt, honestly... if anything he just wanted to get back home to the school. If this was what had to be done though, he guessed he had no other choice. During the time, the were-lemur girl had moved over closer to them. Xi welcomed her company and gave her a small wave and a warm smile, the least bit frighted by her in her natural form.

Laiha peered up at the giant hulking... thing that had approached. Could it possibly be...? No, it couldn't... oh, but it must be. Some of her misgivings of the furry girl Natalia were released upon seeing her other form. The girl was no less a monster than she, and that was comforting considering the people on their car had all seemed fairly "beautiful". Well poo on them, she had a whole team now. She even managed a little snaggle-toothed smile at the New Natalia.

At least for the most part everyone seemed to have made it out alright, although Haku did notice they were missing a few faces. Less of a number, easier to target . . . He wasn't afraid of what laid out there, but what on Halloween was "Christmas"?
More importantly, would the raid be difficult even with how many students he had seen earlier? The true riddle of today indeed.
Espying several figures (notably the not-so-feminine monster), he caught up to them, steps emphasized by the jingling of the Carol of the Bells weapon in his pocket.
"Well, this is an interesting day," Haku said mildly upon reaching them, his coat tugged against his body - tightened by his long tail like a furry white belt.

The sphnix sighed as they were seperated back out, the other students looked rather interesting but the gnome was right. They needed to seperate otherwise they'd all be attacked and captured. They needed a better stradegy. Keeping to their cars was a good first step, they at least knew the people who were around them. That allowed the to keep an eye out for those who got lost or taken. Her tail swished back and forth in an irritated fashion, she didn't like the moment of the trees.
Nefertari kept her head high despite the cold as she entered the woods with her car. She had been confused at first but had aquired her weapon and a rough idea of the map. Her senses were on edge, since all the JOY were throwing them off with strange smells and sights. She held her Bag of Joy close and slowly stalked down the path. She was glad her instincts were still somewhat in tact but this was new territory, complete unfamliar to her normal terrain. She looked back at the other students from her cat and hoped they would be ok.
The large Lemer girl seemed just as on edge as she was. Which was just as well, larger animal equals larger target. But perhaps her animal senses could give her a bit of an advantage. The Devourer girl and undead boy seemed alright as well, forming a small group with the lemur. That was also good. Small groups were easier to defend that one large one. That would be a good idea for her as well. She began to look around for her new friends Tahki, Haku, and Petro. They would be a good team.
"Haku? Tahki? Petro?"
