(( This is an RP for those who will be attending the raid in a few days. ))
It was mandatory, and everyone was required to be there. Even if it was the agent's day off, they had to show up, and in uniform.
A conference room was set aside, with the long table set out perfectly for the lesson. Various glasses, plates, and utensils were carefully put in front of each chair. There was also little paper name tags set on the plates, so everyone would know where to sit when they arrived. The order started at the far end of the table and began by rank, then went by the alphabet going down the left side and up the right.
Seth stood behind the chair at the far end of the table. He lifted his arm to glance at the time on his watch. Yes, he was teaching this class, and his students should be arriving any moment. Even if they didn't need such instruction, they could help their peers and brush up on their skills.

The Grunt made sure not to be late, in fact, she made a point to arrive to the door a little earlier then the lesson had been scheduled for, while that was her usual goal when it came to arriving for classes or meetings, considering what kind of lesson this was going to be... the idea of even being close to late was a bit... mortifying.
Taking a moment to brush on her uniform, smoothing out the fabric, She stepped into the conference room that she had been instructed to go to. Looking up, she saw Seth, was already in the room, waiting, standing at the head of a long table, all ready set up and waiting. "Sir" she greeted politely as she walked into the conference room.

It was hard to determine why Sorano Dinkley was even there. Hell, it was hard to even take into account he was on time. Nevertheless, the agent (oh Arceus, he was lookin' flippin' smokin' in that new uniform) promptly made his way into the conference room with a bothered fold across his face. The hell was everyone? He drifted his shut eyes across the vague emptiness of the room as he approached, reaching but a quick halt as he considered the other two compatriots in waiting. Oh, he wasn't the only one there . . . great.
He patiently stiffened upon reaching the side of the table and flung one arm to behind his back and the other to his brow. "Sir." he immediately spoke after the other, breaking his respectful remark with a dip of his chin and the removal of his forefinger and middle from his forehead.
If Vamoose saw him now, he'd surely remark that these higher-ups have beaten him well.

Though it was still early, Mau had arrived at conference room where this 'mandatory class' was taking place. He wasn't sure who else was going on the mission, but surely the selected operatives had at least some formal etiquette? This must be just to brush up... or perhaps it is even a formal meeting on their objective. He had seen a couple others enter the room before him. One he was sure was Faleen, and another whom he had not yet had the pleasure of meeting. Though perhaps unbeknown to Mau, it was a blessing to be unfamiliar with the thin-eyed man.
Entering the room himself, dressed -for once- in his agent garb, rather than his lab clothing, he glanced to Seth. This was for a formal mission in more ways then one. He bent at the waist, bowing formally though respectfully to Seth before standing upright again. In the back of his mind, Mau was vaguely surprised to realize he and Seth, this infamous man he'd heard so much about was still quite young (in his own right) and around Mau's own height.
Formalities aside, Mau glanced at the table, noting the names on the place settings. He moved down the row until he found his own name and stood behind his seat, turning his gaze to their 'gracious host.'

In uniform Panther walked in early. He had even slipped his sunglasses onto his belt before entering. At the door he gave the elite a suite and then noting the name takes walked to go take his seat. He noticed he wasn't the first person there and gave them nods as he passed.

There was a thought, in the back of Nyx's mind, that Seth had called all of them there not to learn etiquette for a mission, but because he thought they were all crude cavemen-types. Ugh, it was bad enough she had to actually be in a room with Seth where she wasn't on duty under the charge of her Miss Nadja and he part of an experiment, but she was in a class being taught by the man. This was sure to be an event full of glowers, scoldings for not being good enough, and terrified Rockets. Nyx wasn't scared of Seth, but his higher rank was irksome in that she had to do what he said. To think he was teaching etiquette. Miss Nadja should have been teaching the class; She was the most refined individual in Team Rocket, next to The Boss.
Whatever Nyx's thoughts, he was an Elite, and this was a required class. She made sure to arrive about five minutes early, since Seth could never tolerate lateness; It was better to try to avoid conflict. "Sir." Nyx nodded politely as she entered the room. She hadn't had to worry about wearing her uniform; She always wore her uniform. Nyx had worked hard to earn it, after all.
She noticed the name tags on the table after her eye had been drawn to the table by a certain individual sitting there. Mau. Nyx sighed, masking it as simply a large breath. Ever since their 'not a date' she had felt strange about being around the other Agent. Not in a bad way, but not in a good way either. It was an entirely confusing feeling that she would chalk up to possibly coming down with something. Nyx walked around the table until she found her name, at the end of the table near Seth and Mau, and remained standing behind her chair.
There were other Rockets there, besides the three of them. Faleen, Panther, and... Mr. Speedo. Nyx had never formally met that particular Rocket, her only recollection of him being of a lime green speedo. She was surprised that he was an agent.

The 'invitation' (Liam knew it was more of an order than anything else.) had said 'uniform mandatory,' but Liam wasn't certain what it had meant. The only thing his closet even had was his uniforms and a now out of use dinner jacket. Still, he guessed (and guessed right) that he was up to par with his uniform since the Elite at the door didn't give him a second glance as he walked into the room.
He also had no idea that in 'proper' society he was expected to arrive early and stumbled only a few seconds after the time on his card. And everyone was... just standing there. Each one seemed to know where to be and Liam quickly discovered that this was due to the name cards placed upon each of the plates. He found his own at the far end of the table, far enough away from Seth that the superior's gazes wouldn't boil his soup if Liam managed to use the wrong spoon. Man, he missed the good ol' days of drinking milk out of the bucket, straight form the Miltank...

To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late, and to be late is unacceptable. Such was the lesson, among many others, that had been drilled into Aila's head as a child. It had caused a lot of waiting throughout her life as apparently few others in the world had received a similar lecture, but it at least always reflected well on herself. Much to her approval, however, Aila found on arriving that many of the other attendees had taken similar initiative. She double checked her uniform to ensure that it was in good order before regarding Seth with a salute. The girl then cast a scrutinizing gaze around the room to take stock of the other Rockets there. She was familiar with all but the man with the sunglasses hanging from his belt and by and large approved of the company. But there was one whom she knew to be missing...
Liam arrived nearly literally at the last moment, and Aila greeted him with a smile as he made his way towards his marked seat. She nudged him slightly when he was within proximity. "Don't sit," she warned in a hushed tone, unsure of whether or not he had planned to do so but deciding that it was at least worth the breath to caution him. For most of her life she had been unable to put into practice the various rules of etiquette she had been taught, but she remembered them nonetheless.

It was in fact Nadja's day off, but that made about as much difference as the price of potions in Petalburg. While most of the time the elite guarded her free time jealously, there were certain exceptions to the rule if something was particularly amusing or interesting.
This promised to be both.
The elite slipped in through a side door - not the one through which Rockets were currently filing, but another leading into another room - and brushed a lock of hair into place as she came to stand at Seth's right side. She lifted her chin slightly to scan the group in a quick head count. Who's present, who's missing, and who's already sitting down?
Hayes tugged at the high collar of his uniform as he filed in with the rest. Why he'd been chosen for this mission, he wasn't sure; the last time he'd had contact with this level of etiquette was with the job interview seminars held in college and there was nothing to hack as far as he knew.
The blond grinned faintly at Nikki in greeting as he passed her, making a little 'huh' noise as he scanned the name cards on his circuit of the table. When he found his, it put him between one very tall man and one rather short boy, creating a nice sloping effect. The agent stayed standing, on the basis that everyone else was and Seth wasn't glaring at them for it.

What was this nonsense?
More of a necessity for the young agent. An etiquette class was not totally need it, but when it came down to 'which fork is the salad fork,' there was just no way around it. Like she had a choice anyway. Cal arrived clad in her agent attire, fussing with the uniform that looked brand new. It was in pristine condition, likely from not wearing it often and slumming around the HQ in less eye catching gear.
She looked like the same old girl, save for her hair. Her hair smelled vaguely of the solution used earlier that day to give her that wavy curly look. It was better to use that stuff now then have something happen the day before the mission. With her hair a wavy, at certain times when it caught the light, it turned a hint of dark brown, acting as a makeshift halo that radiated from her.
And make up. Arcues how that was the bane of her existence. Not literally, but it was a pain in the rear end. She had dashes on a light, and I mean light, coating of make up to her skin. Foundation, eyeliner, and mascara to test out the little skills she obtained in the art. As she entered, following the rockets before her, she came to a long table lined with other members. At the head Seth, who had obviously made this mandatory. She glanced on at the attending rockets, having met each of them. The sight of Mau and Nyx in the same room made her heart sink, giving her features a dark, and serious look. Nadja soon entered the room and greeted the Elites with a salute, as some did before her, and headed to her place among the name tags and rockets lined at the table.

Claire had arrived several minutes early, deciding to leave her pokemon in their balls back in her room to avoid any chance of them causing any sort of havoc (which would be mortifying in such a lesson), and followed everyone else in. It seemed she was obviously not the only one who had no desire to be late, considering the number of people who had shown up early, and decided it was a good thing. Hearing Seth rage at some poor sap who ended up late would not be a good way to start the lesson.
Or maybe it would?
Oh well, only one way to find out, and that was to see if anyone arrived late.
Obviously she had no desire to be that poor person, so she swiftly entered the room, offered both Seth and Nadja a salute with a slight, respectful nod, before she circled the table to find her seat. Hopefully she wasn't next to anyone too irritating...
Upon finding her place, she stood behind it, refraining from sitting until instructed to do so, and waited silently for Seth to begin the lesson.

Leonard wasn't really sure why he was chosen for this mission. The success on the museum raid shouldn't have been enough to earn him a spot in this raid. But he wasn't complaining. Yet. A night of fine dining seemed a lot easier than any of the other missions that he might been assigned to. But he didn't know what he was really into until he got a notice for the etiquette class led by... Agent Seth?
He showed up early for once, and in uniform like the notice requested. Leonard wondered briefly how he would've been punished if he was tardy but decided that Seth could come up with something scary enough. He stared at the table and the utensils in front of him with unease.

Among the early comers, a blonde agent made her way in also. It didn't take her long to find her place, which ended up being right next to the red headed elite. Nikki looked around and tried not to fidget. This sort of thing was completely foreign to her and she was... uncomfortable. Still, she would make the most of this lesson.
As the party goers filed in, Seth watched them carefully from his spot at the head of the table. Nadja was given a nod of acknowledgment when she appeared at his side. He too, did a head count, and frowned just slightly when he saw Liam enter late. More so when he saw that others still were not there yet. Still, everything had to go as scheduled and he would not wait.
"Good evening and welcome. I will be your host this evening, and I am pleased that all of you were able to attend." Seth then bowed in Japanese fashion before extending a hand to his "guests". "Please be seated.
Nikki's brown eyes blinked once at the introduction, but quickly seated herself when called to do so.
Once everyone had been seated, Seth reached out with a lighter and lit the candles that were set on the table. One on each side of a stunning centerpiece composed of white lilies and red roses. Before each of them they would see a large golden plate with rolled up napkin, complete with a red napkin ring, placed in the center. The plates were set exactly two inches from the edge of the table.
On the left side of the plate were four forks of varying sizes, all of them a polished golden color. On the right was a knife with the blade pointed inward, and two spoons along side it. Not only that, but there was a glass filled with water above the knife and two empty different wine glasses, set at a negative angle. A tea cup and saucer were sit nearby as well. A small white plate was set above the forks, with yet another that was a little larger, to the side of them.
It was quite an elegant set up.
Seth then sat himself and looked at his guests. "Arriving late to a formal dinner is considered rude and bad form. Despite that it is a large party, I trust that all of you will arrive on time. Also, Agent Panther, you will not be needing those sunglasses." The man actually spoke smoothly and calmly. There was not a note of criticism in his voice, simply instruction.

Violet eyes flitted up to notice Nikki arrive as well, before Claire pulled out the chair in front of her and sat down. Her eyebrows lifted slightly in surprise at the tone in Seth's voice, noticing he sounded like... Well, like a normal, completely level-headed person instead of the constantly angry, irritated-at-anything-and-everything attitude he typically had.
Looking down at the delicately placed setting before her, she noted all of the utensils, the different glasses and plates of varying sizes, trying her best to remember the name and specific use of each. She could remember almost all, but one or two slipped her mind, but hopefully they would all be brought up at a later point and she would take special care to remember.
Sitting upright in her chair, making sure not to slouch even the slightest, she folded her hands and placed them on her lap, watching Seth expectantly and awaiting further instructions. She also kept an eye on Nadja - that was who the woman was, wasn't it? She was fairly certain it was - and wondered if she would join the lesson or simply watch.

Cal sat, as gently and as elegantly as she could muster, when Seth called everyone to sit. There were some new faces at this table that she hadn't met before, but now was not the time to get to know one another.
She sat up, back straight, doing her best not to slouch. The last time she checked, slouching was rude. Heck, everything she did at the dinner table was probably considered rude. She snapped out of her thoughts to gaze at the marvelous arrangement in front of her. Never in her life had she been to an upscale dinner party; where was she to start? She lifted her head to look on at the 'guest' and folded her hands in her lap. The best thing to do was to not do anything until she was told.
