Although it may not appear that im active on this guild. I've been supporting the guild by adding newcomers to my zOMG! clan.
To briefly explain. Newcomers will come onto the welcome forum of Gaia, to which i send a Clan invitation to join. When they do join, they are able to read the sticky on zOMG! and try the game out. Its rather unintrusive in the sense that if the nebie doesn't like what zOMG! is, they can choose to opt out of the clan.
As of August 2010 i've introduced approximately 508 players to zOMG!.
The reason why im posting this now is that i've quit the clan and passed my leadership onto someone else. I quitted largely due to maintenance issues, since there was too many members to process and administrate.
Therefore here's my opinion.
I shall remake a clan, with threads and stickys that introduce new players to zOMG! [If not we can always use my old clan.]
Every week, i shall at 10-40 newcomers to zOMG! and inform then about our wonderful world.
This will take months to do, as i had to do before, to enable players to completely learn the ropes of the games. After that, with a large enough memberbase in this guild we would have a larger swaying power over issues and decisions.
What do you think?

That sounds like a great idea! And a lot of work too! Anything to help support zOMG! is a great idea. Congrats on getting that introducing that many people! I have to thank you for such commitment as well!
