I move a lot and just recently i moved to Australia and so i was starting new classes. At all my other schools i had talked to the teachers and gotten them to call me by my middle name, Travis. But this time i forgot and they teacher read my real name. My school only has 100 kids so the word spread very fast. Everyone was cool about it but i was sooo embarased. By the way my real name is Abigail. Does anyone else have names they hate.

I like gender-odd names. Although that one particularly makes me wonder what your parents were thinking.
I dislike mine alot, it's Rachel. So many people have that name and it means innocent lamb of all things! Also I'm pretty sure that the only reason they gave me that name is because one of the other names that they were thinking about me sounded too italian. The name was Chiara. (And my last name is uber italian/catholic and my first name is very hebrew/jewish.... it's funny)...
But I do like it when my girlfriend says my name..

My name is Jenna.. I used to not like it but I just really dont care anymore. It's my name and I couldn't picture calling myself any other name. (shrugs)

I'm really happy with my name. ^^ Ryan Casey. :3 I love how quaint and kingly it sounds. <3 But I love gender odd names too. There are tons of guys at my school names Keri and Kari. ^^

My real name is Madalyne...hate it. too formal and elegant for me. So i go by Mattie, NOT MADDY!! which is what everyone spells my name as..this makes sense (all the d's) but i don't like "DDY" because it sounds too kiddish...like sally or molly (Gomen nasai to all sally's and molly's on gaia sweatdrop )
