The moon glistens in the night sky over an ever expanding metropolis, Metro City. The town is huge, the cuisine... To die for.
Two dark races dwell in this metropolis: Vampires and Werewolves. Both stalk Metro City, using it as hunting grounds for food. However, the two races are not friendly towards each other. The vampires want Metro city for themselves and are sick of the lycans interfering with their feedings. The Werewolves want nothing more than to rid the city of its pesky vampire infestation and claim the Metro City hunting grounds for their own.
Take your side in this modern day town as the dark creatures that stalk it.

Kaiann stared down at the city from inside the church bell tower, safe from the night's pouring rain. Stories had falsely stated that churches were a repellent against the 'evil creatures of the night'. Kaiann scoffed. It was all bullshit. Garlic, churches, crosses... all falsely documented. None of those things would stop a vampire. Vampires were unstoppable monsters. She was a monster.
Kaiann's yellow eyes pierced through the darkness as she stared down at a human running through the streets, hurrying to his home to shelter himself from the pouring rain. Kaiann bit her lower lip as she mentally tried to resist the sudden urge to feed on the human. After a few moments of resisting, Kaiann's inner animal took over and she gave into the urge. The vampire lept off of the tower, diving straight for her moving target. She pounced upon her helpless victim from behind.There was no cry for help from this one--he didn't even see her coming. Kaiann reared her head back before thrusting it forward, sinking her teeth into the victim's neck, draining him of his life's energy. After a few moments, Kaiann reared her head back, gasping for air. The human opened his mouth to scream, but his life was quickly ended by one swift movement. The vampire tossed the human aside as she rose to her feet. She wiped the blood that trickled down the side of her mouth with the back of her hand as she stared down at the man she had just murdered.
"I'm a monster... " She muttered with self loathing before darting off, disappearing into the night.

Alice may have been a ''new born'' by lycan status, but she wasn't an idiot. She knew that feeding inside the city limits was suicide, especially for a weak pup like herself. Her lycan abilities were developing, and she would not stand a chance against an older and stronger vampire or werewolf if she were to enter the contested feeding grounds.
However, little Alice was perfectly content feeding on scraps that she found lying about. She didn't want to feed on humans, like so many others in the city did. She didn't want to hurt anyone... or anything. Yes, she realized that she was 'lowering' herself, and in the eyes of many lycan she was 'pathetic'. Alice didn't care about their opinions though. The only opinion that ever mattered to her was that of her twin sister, Kaiann.
A soft sigh escaped Alice's throat as she sat silently on a park bench, the warmth of her breath seen as it collided with the cold winter air.
"Kaiann..." she soflty muttered to herself as memories of her sister flashed across her mind. Her gaze fell to the ground as she stared sadly at the ground."...Where are you sis?...

 A figure stepped through the many puddles of the city as if the rain did not bother it at all. The man stood about 6 feet tall, every edge of his body screaming danger and alert but his human-like features reassured others that he meant no harm. Before they died, that is. His low voice mumbled as he seemed to talk to himself. He wasn't look for anyone in particular, just someone to drag into an alley and drain until they were nothing but a corpse splattered until they were a bloody mess.
Unfortunately, he was unlucky today. He frowned as he stared at the prey he had followed was being devoured by a vampire who seemed to regret drinking blood. Really, stealing someone's prey and then putting on such a face was very, very unfair. He was about to take a step when the vampire sprinted away into the night."Hey! Hey you!" He called, aimlessly running over to the approximate place she sprinted off to.

Kaiann found herself in an city alley way. She stood in silence, staring blankly at the starry night sky, unfazed as rain fell freely upon her face. The vampire closed her eyes, allowing the rain to wash away the fresh blood from her recent kill. She remained still, as memories of her last encounter with her sister flashed across her mind.
Kaiann slammed the car door shut, advancing to the girl who sat alone on the snowy park ground, propped up against an oak tree. ''It has to be Alice.'' Kaiann mentally told herself this repeating as she neared the girl. The setting sun's light made it hard to make out the woman's features from her current distance, but the blonde hair and body figure made Kaiann more hopeful than ever. "Alice?" She hesitantly choked out as she neared the girl. Kaiann's heart fluttered when the female's attention turned towards her. Her walk quickened into a sprint towards the girl until she was at her feet. Kaiann dropped to her knees, her entire body trembling. After about a month of searching, she had finally found her sister.
She moved to hug her twin, but recoiled when her eyes fell upon the bruises and cuts that covered her blonde-haired counter part. Alice was covered in blood and clothed with rags. Alice, the kind-hearted twin, could have been mistaken for an escaped Asylum patient. She wanted to scream, but immediately bite her tounge when she saw the pain in her sister's eyes. Her first priority was to get her sister to a hospital, she'd find out who had abducted and abused her later. "Come on Alice...I need to get you to a hospital. " Kaiann explained softly, moving to pick up her sister who was mumbling incoherent nonsense under her breath. "Oh no... She's in shock. What did those F*ckers do to you sis?" she asked as she carefully put her sister into her car. "Everything is going to be okay, Alice. she assured her sister before getting into the driver's seat and starting the car. Kaiann's memory skipped to the moment in her life when everything changed.
Alice began to shake uncontrollably before the shakes became violent thrashes. Kaiann attempted to calm her sister down, but there was no avail. her sister began to scream blood curdling screams as her body contorted and morphed into a beast. Kaiann, not paying attention to the road, suddenly found herself struggling for control of the vehicle as it spun out of control. Alice, in the midst of completing her lycan transformation, crashed through the windshield and onto the road. Kaiann blacked out, the last thing she saw was her sister, or what had become of her sister, sprinting off into the night.
"I'm sorry Alice... i couldn't protect you. " Kaiann whispered softly to herself, the rain concealing the tears that ran down her face.
"Hey!Hey, you!"
The male voice echoed through the alleyway, snapping Kaiann out of her nostalgic state of mind. She raised an eye brow to the stranger, surprised that someone was talking to her. Generally, humans vampire and Lycans distanced themselves from her. She wasn't sure exactly why, but figured it had something to do with the 'don't talk to me' front that she had. "...Yes?" Kaiann replied apathetically to the vampire, distancing herself in case he meant her harm.

I can't escape this hell.
So many times I've tried,
But I'm still caged inside,
Somebody get me through this nightmare.
I can't control myself.The rain poured down in buckets and drenched the entire town, almost as if it was trying to erase the blood stains from the buildings and streets. Tristan's wet hair clung to the side of his face and excess water drops rolled down his face. It didn't seem to bother him and he couldn't care less because tonight was hunting night. His hunting night. The little human he had been following for so long was now torn to pieces by someone else. His prey. His eyes narrowed, trying to make out the shapes and figures through the pouring rain while trudging through the puddles slowly.
The voice who answered him sounded feminine, but the blur of the vampire's figure gave him uncertainty. Well, at least it's not a werewolf. He scoffed at that single thought. Those filthy inexperienced animals won't hunt on my grounds. It had only been a few years since he had regained consciousness from his parent's experiments and losing control over one trivial matter would be ridiculous. He lifted a brow and stepped closer to have a look but the vampire reciprocally stepped back. "Hey. It's not nice to steal someone's prey and then run away like nothing happened." He paused before he cocked his head towards the dead man and adding. "Isn't that a little pitiful? Dying alone on the streets in such horrendous weather?" As if. He chuckled lightly, having no intention on caring about the thoughts of his victims. "If you get on your hands and knees to apologize, I think I'm... kindhearted enough to let you off on this one."
ll. OoC: I hope you don't mind if I change my post style. The style before had too many complications and didn't allow me to type too much. I'll stick with this one from now on. .ll

Kaiann snarled at the vampire. Who the hell did he think he was? Get down on her hands and knees and apologize? She wasn't a slave-- no one owned her. Kaiann approached the vampire, stopping in front of him, glaring."I don't know who you think you are, but i suggest you don't speak to me like that." She growled, prodding the male vampire's chest with her index finger. " You didn't own that human. He wasn't your property. Go find something else to eat." Kaiann prodded him several types as she spoke. Normally, she wouldn't do such a childish thing, but the vampire just rubbed her the wrong way.

I can't escape this hell.
So many times I've tried,

I can't control myself.The food snatcher turned out to be a female with pitch black hair and a pair of blood red eyes as dark as his own. If she was male, then Tristan would have blown a fuse a long time ago. Though, her clear attitude ticked him off quite a bit. First, she steals away his prey. Then she tries to run away. And now, she's pushing all of the blame on to him and stabbed a finger at his chest. Several times at that. With a few words, she had spoiled his entire day. Like hell this little girl was going to get away with it.
"Excuse me?" He growled and swiped the annoying finger away, his eyes glared into hers threateningly. "I didn't quite get you just said..." His eyes lowered as he grabbed the girl's chin in one swift yet harsh movement. "It's such a shame the owner of this pretty little face has such a foul personality. If you want to keep that pretty face of yours, you'd better learn place and crawl back into the hole you came from." To make his point, he put on a smirk and dragged a finger against her neck. "They'd pay handsomely for a dainty little thing like you."

Kaiann hated being touched and was very selective about the few whom could. Even when she was younger she would throw a tantrum when her parents went to hug her. This vampire had ticked.her.off. Not only had he touched her, but he had threatened her as well. Who the hell did he think he was? A vampire Prince? No, even if that were the case: she didn't like this vampire-- Not.One.Bit.
The black-haired vampiress yanked her chin away from the male's grasp, lunging forward to grab a hold of his shirt collar. She growled angrily, glaring at him, her face inches from him. "Do not touch me ever again. " she snarled before shoving the vampire back. Lucky for Tristin, Kaiann's twin sister had made her promise that she would 'not start a fight'. That being said, the vampiress still had the urge to rake her nails across his face. If it weren't for her loyalty to her sister, Kaiann would have already punched this vampire's face in for touching her.
"Go away before i accidentally break your neck."

I can't control myself.Tristan gritted his teeth, the firm grip on his collar was unusually strong. The fabric of his shirt creased and stretched uneasily, pulling him towards the vampire in resistance. He wasn't used to In his opinion, his authority was absolute because he was backed up by his father, but this time it was different. It seemed that this girl had no intention in listening to him, almost as if she didn't recognize his face. A low and muffled grunt escaped his mouth and his fingers managed to shuffle around his pocket to search for his weapons. He pulled out a silver gun with a metallic chain and pressed the barrel against the side of the vampiress' forehead in mere seconds, his finger loosely touching the trigger but it was already a thread as it is.
"If you wanted to die, you should have said so instead of wasting my time." His lips curled into a playful smirk as he whispered. "Besides, vampires like you deserve to burn in hell like those dirty werewolves." He pulled the trigger. A gunshot echoed throughout the town, but no blood spilled. It seemed like the gun didn't shoot a bullet. "Scared, weren't you?"
