Kakek huffed slightly as he picked himself off of the ground, he was really tired and a nap was really nice. But he couldn't bring himself to sleep. Then again he wasn't a kind of tired where he wanted to fall asleep, but he was a little sore, that was for sure. He had been running around for most of th e day because when the nanny came he snuck out and no one had came to look for him yet so he wasn't going to worry about it.
He huffed before he started to wander the other way. He wanted to figure out something to do with himself and all of the other cubs seemed to be in their dens. Either they were kind of older then him and wanted nothing to do with him or they were the same age but they didn't have the guts to sneak out. That annoyed him. He really hoped that he could run into some one to spend some time with but it wasn't turning out that way. He was really getting close to heading out and going back to his den. But he wanted to say out.
He huffed and decided to go to one of the big trees in the pride that he liked to go to and hang out in. Maybe he would find some one there, he was really hoping that he would because he didn't want to go home.

Uruloke did not share Kakek's problem of having nothing to do and no one to do it with. Since his mother had killed that jackal and given him its skin to wear, he had been warm - delightfully warm. And just in time for the colder months people warned him were on their way, too.
But the offshoot of being not-cold, for once, was that he didn't feel the need to conserve his energy by sleeping all the time and absorbing the sun's light and heat. He was a lion on the prowl, and with his wonderful pelt he was quite certain he could easily take on the world. So watch out, world! Uruloke was on the prowl!
Thinking those words brought a curling smile to the cub's face, baring very sharp teeth which were still unstained by a lifetime of eating meat and undulled by cracking bones to get at the marrow. It was a good thing he hadn't the strength to make his bites really count, or else he would be quite the danger to everyone around him. Rawr!
There wasn't anyone around him at the moment, though, and so Uruloke curled up beneath one of the pride's big trees and prepared to return to one of his favorite activities, one of his favorite ways to pass the time: napping.

Kakek approached his destination he was looking around, his head held high and proud. He was trying to shrug off the sleepiness he had, he hated the fact that even though he couldn't bring himself to sleep he was still sleepy. This made him a tiny bit grumpy at the same time but yet he didn't care at the same time. He wasn't going to let being grumpy get in the way of his good time, that was for sure. He never liked letting things like that get in the way of him having a good time. He flicked his hair out of his eyes and then yawned quietly.
As he got closer he noticed some where one where he was going. The cub was about the same age as him, that was a good thing to see, he could make a friend and have some fun! That would be great! He knew it would be great. He picked up his pace a little more that was until he then noticed the cub wasn't awake. He couldn't have fun with the cub if he was sleeping. He huffed before crouching to the ground. If he couldn't sleep this other cub wasn't going to sleep that was for sure, he wasn't going to let him.
He huffed again crouching down on to his feet his belly brushing against the ground, he had a plan he was going to pull off. He grinned before he began to launch forward pouncing on the other lion with a laugh.

Uruloke, happily unconscious, was oblivious to the laughing death which was coming toward him at speed and with force. He had been dreaming pleasant dreams of being a mighty warrior and making his whole family proud of him. He and his twelve siblings had just defeated an enormous monster and saved the pride. It was glorious. And over very suddenly when another cub plowed into him, bowling flattening him to the ground and waking him simultaneously.
"Rah!" Loke exclaimed with dismay, still not fully awake, but getting there very, very quickly.
In a litter of thirteen the ability to react quickly to attacks made while slumbering was absolutely essential, and so even though he was not completely conscious Loke was able to send a firm, claws-sheathed swat toward his assailant. He even managed a childish growl.
"Death!" he vowed, his blue eyes snapping open and his lips curling back to expose sharp white teeth in a feral grin.

Kakek was surprised at the feeling of claws crashing into the side of him. He wasn't very happy at it though that was for sure. He growled unhappily watching the small lion. Yes it wasn't very nice that he was waking up the other cub on the other hand he wasn't using his claws on him. That just made him very angry. He huffed and backed up looking at the small scratch on his paw he was glad that it wasn't that bad but the point was that he wasn't happy about it. He Grumbled and shook his head at the male and then batted at him with a annoyed look on his face.
"Whats your problem!" He growled shaking his head very annoyed, "you didn't have to use your claws at me!" A smirk grew on his face as he thought, the cub was sleeping, he could get away with running into the other cub, he knew he could. "I was pushing you out the way from a scorpion!" He then puffed out his chest and then grinned. "I just pretty much saved you and killed it and you were just swiping at me." He shook his head before flopping down on his haunches. "That isn't very nice." He growled, trying to reinforce the idea.

Affronted by the accusation that he'd used his claws when he had been very careful to keep them in, Uruloke growled back at Kakek and frowned while his tail lashed violently from one side to the other.
"I didn't use my claws, and it's not my fault if you're so soft you thought I did, because I didn't. I know better than that," Loke pouted.
And because he was already in a bit of a grouchy mood from being suddenly and violently woken and then accused of doing something he hadn't even done, Loke was definitely not in any sort of mood to be charitable and credulous when Kakek claimed to have saved him from a scorpion. He looked around where their scuffle had taken place, searching for a scorpion corpse. When he didn't see one, his expression turned scornful.
"I don't see any dead scorpions," he pointed out, though not in a particularly argumentative tone of voice.

Kakek looked at the male and shook his head a little growl escaped his own throat, this cub was a little smarter then he imagined. He didn't like it when he tried to play tricks on another and they didn't go along with it. He really didn't like it when he couldn't play tricks on another cub. He was trying to figure out how to prove his points to the other lion. He huffed and shook his head. "No! I know you used your claws." He shook his head before puffing out his chest then looked around he had a way to prove the lion wrong.
"It's because I tossed it away, you know, just incase I didn't completely killed it. I'm sure I did though but my dad always tells me it's better to play it safe then sorry." He nodded at the idea before smiling to the male. It was more of a smrik then a smile really, he could get some where like this and he knew he could, he really just wanted the male to believe what he was saying he knew he could get it to happen. "But if you want to be a jerk about me helping you then I'll just leave, you knkow it's never really nice to get mad at some one who is helping you, or at least tried to help you."He flicked his tail behind him and made it seem like he was getting ready to start walking away.

Loke shook his head. "I really didn't. Mum says we're not supposed to use our claws on each other."
Not that Loke always listened to that particular rule, but he cared enough about not getting in trouble with his family that he did his best to remember. Firekin were fierce warriors, of course, but they had to grow up to be really fierce, and if they were maimed they couldn't do that. Loke would like to avoid being maimed before adulthood.
"Oh, well that was very brave of you," Uruloke said sarcastically. He wasn't fooled by Kakek's smiling smirk. Or smirking smile. He didn't like when people made that face at him. It made him want to wipe it off in a semi-violent manner. "I'm sure your father will be very, very proud."
He wasn't sure what else to say to Kakek. He didn't think he'd been a jerk. Whether or not there'd been a scorpion, pouncing on Loke hadn't put him in the best mood, and he didn't think it should've happened. He'd been asleep, and the scorpion probably wouldn't have done anything to him. He was just lying there, unconscious and not moving. It's not threatening to them.
"Oh, whatever. Thanks for keeping me from maybe getting stung. I hope I can return the favor someday." There might've been a bit of a threat inherent there. He would have liked to bounce on the other cub.

Kakek wasn't very happy with the lion, what was his problem? Why couldn't the lion go with what he was saying. He flicked his tail around irritated behind her. It really annoyed him and he was getting really impatient. What was his problem. He rolled his eyes as the other cub said that he wasn't allowed to use his claws. That was silly, Kakek used his claws on others when he felt like it. Especially sparring. Then again Kakek was normally pretty rough when it came to that. He at least normally sparred with males however he was pretty rought when he did. He liked to get rough with others it was always really much more interesting to him.
However that wasn't much of the point at the moment.
This male wasn't going along with what he was trying to so. He growled at the male before shaking his head. "You really aren't any fun!" He shook his head again before growling again. "I just wanted to have some fun and you weren't going along with it! Come on, you're a cub too, you're supposed to go along with those things." He rolled his eyes, "playing isn't that bad." He commented then started to walk some. He still wasn't very happy but to a point he wanted to go home so he could play with his siblings or something. HE wanted to go do something interesting insteead of not doing anything with this boy. Maybe in that case he could do something. He felt a tiny bit bad that he woke the cub up but not really too bad. It didn't bother him that much.

Loke noted the eyeroll he'd earned, and could guess at why he'd earned it. He was probably the only one in his family who paid any attention to his parents' rule about claws and people's faces. Which was the specific rule, now that he thought about it. No using claws around people's faces, because no one wanted to lose an eye. Loke tended to interpret that as not using claws at all, though, because a person could easily make a mistake and end up with face when they meant for flank.
"I'm tired," Loke huffed. "When I'm not tired, I'm lots of fun."
Well, that was openly debatable, but Loke wasn't in a mood to debate. He thought the things he did were fun, and if others disagreed, they were stupid. In another mood, he might've at least decided to defend his statement and principles with a good tussle, but right now...no. Instead he yawned very deliberately in Kakek's face.
"If all you're going to do is complain and insult me, do it somewhere else. I'm going back to sleep."
With any luck, Kakek wouldn't attack him while he curled back up and closed his eyes, completely dismissing the other cub from his mind as soon as his eyes were shut. Yeah. He was kind of rude like that. He thought it made him seem more bad-a** and manly.

Kakek was annoyed and appalled, he just wanted to play! The other cubs around here really never understood much of anything. He just wanted to play and he didn't understand why he really didn't understand and it ticked him off. He looked at the male and then rolled his eyes once again before he turned around and started to walk the other way.
"I didn't want to play anyway!" He huffed again shaking his head as he started to trot away his ears were folded back, he couldn't help it and he knew that he wasn't happy, he just wanted to go home and find something else to do. That was all that he knew at the moment.
