Sam is a little 12 year old girl that lives in a big mansion, by herself. She doesnt go to school, nor does she have a family. All her family died. Her being that last of the Laylie family. She finally decides to order a young neko to come for some company. Yet, he thinks she must be evil. He tries and tries to escape, but she always ends up seeing him. Will he feel bad if he actually makes it, or will he get a clean run, breaking her heart?

Same was walking in her yard, looking at her surroundings. She waited for her new 'friend' to come. She hoped he would be nice. She wanted the good for him.

Shino shook slightly as the man carried him though the gate into the yard. H looked over at the girl, his eyes' shot wide. "N-No! L-let me goo!" He said squirming around hard, his eyes' were tightly shut. He was terrified

Max quickly turned her head, to see the man carry the neko through the gates to her down. "Be gentle" She said, and jogged her wait to the man. "Oh he's so cute!" She said, smiling looking at the frightened Neko. "Whats wrong?" She asked gracefully.

Shino was put down, quickly falling down. "S-stay a-away!" He yelled loudly pushing himself away from the girl. His white choppy hair fell over his wide Icy blue eyes'. "P-please"

She tilted her head. "Im not gonna hurt you if thats what you think!" She said, and looked at the man who braught him there. "Have you been one of the people who take care of him? Why is he like this?" She asked, not sure why. She looked back at the Neko. "I wont hurt you." She whispered.

"His last owner abused him his whole life....his master was a girl. He's been terrified of girl and mostly everyone." The man said before turning around to leave.
Shino pushed himself to his feet and took off the other way running to the gates. He turned around seeing how far he was from the girl before sitting in the corner, his knees to his chest.

"Well thats horrible! Who would ever do that!" She murmered to herself. "Do you know how to at least tame him?" She asked looking at the scared boy in the corner. She showed a worried face, and saw how bad he shook.

"Try to get his trust, if not, scratch him behind the ears" The man said as he left.
Shino stared at the ground hugging his knees. "D-don't l-let her come....d-don't let a-anyone" He shook his head slowly, picking up a small flower and held it close to him

Max nodded, and held her hand to her chest. She took a step closer to Shino, and looked at the flower he held in his hands. "Do you like flowers?" She asked him from across the yard.

Shino's eyes' shot open, looking at Sam with fear. he quickly nodded his head and pushed himself against the gate, causing thorns into his hand.

Shino shook his head looking at the ground. He let go of the thorn covered flower, rubbing his hands on his white shirt, turning it red. He hugged his knees again staring at the the flower, "C-can't...trust...no one" He whimpered, his ears were flat against his head and his tail wrapped around his feet
