She wasn't a dreamer anymore. She wasn't a fool. She had stepped away from those idle dreams of wanting more. She had become what she feared and it took only the separation from her sibling to bring about the change.
Memento mori.
It had not taken long for her to remember her mortality. But this truth, it hurt, and she became stern; forlorn. Why had he abandoned her? She didn't want to hear his story . . . it was probably amateur anyway.
A sigh escaped passed Lennyka's lips as she sat in the library, book in hand and brown eyes turned towards the print. Her mind was elsewhere however. She had never thought this much before nor did she feel so mad. What had angered her?
Clemency had neared her curiously out of worry but the Grunt had tried to force him away with words.
"Away." she muttered but the Meganium didn't budge. "Get away, Clemency." she added next, glaring at it.
Once again, the Meganium did not budge. Rather, it neared closer to her with its indigo eyes blaring brightly in plead. When it came close enough, Lennyka snapped and punted its face away with the back of her hand. She had hit him hard and nearly clattered out of her seat but caught herself before she fell.
"I said get away." Len muttered under her clenched teeth, hand buzzing with blood at how much strength she used against the Pokemon's face.
The Meganium retreated in fright, cheek bruised red from the hit. When it was gone, the once naive girl returned to her original stance.
Memento mori.
Remember your mortality.
She had lost it.

It had taken a while to locate the book, he had begun to think that it wasn't here after all, but as it turned out the volume was merely very slim. He had hoped for a thicker book, but something was better than nothing. Already reading the first page, Frost sat down opposite Lennyka without even noticing she was there.
Skiron, however, had noticed both the woman and her actions towards the meganium. Setting his ears back, the ice type let out a soft hiss and stepped in front of his trainer's chair. Who was this female? Was she in the habit of hitting things, or was the Megaium either a one off or a special case?... Well, seen as he had no way of knowing that (unless he asked the megaium, but it had retreated), he felt it best to stay between the strange woman and Frost. If she tried anything on with his trainer, she was cruising for an Ice Beam to the face.

Frosted sorrel eyes stared to the sudden company to her front, simply what could be remarked as a terrible frown more of a simple glance. She did not want company no- in all honesty, she would have preferred if the man with his hissing Ice type would move away. Len made no choice to speak though. Simply, she shifted her bum deeper into the refined cotton and stretch material of the chair and looked back to her book.
Once again, Clemency decided to make itself known by drawing closer. The spot to were Lennyka had hit him was still evident upon his cheek. Even so, he had not learned his lesson. He crept behind her slowly, in hopes he would not be head, but the shadow that he cast was all the proof Lennyka needed to know he was there and stalking.
"Clemency, I thought I told you to leave me alone." she muttered harshly against the silence of the library. The Meganium simply stopped and fluttered a pollen-full flower at her. Ah, now she knew the reason for his constant intrusion. Disgusting. Even so, she pointed in the opposite direction.
"Leave me alone."

The voice cut through his consciousness like a knife; there was somebody else here! Lowering his book, Frost regarded the girl opposite him and wondered how he had failed to notice her. That was what he got for losing himself so completely in his own little world...
Oh lovely.
As the pollen wafted towards him Frost sneezed, and then shot the grass type a glare. "Can't you do that outside?" Honestly; its mistress was even telling it to shove off and it was paying no attention at all... Humm. Pollen, Clemency. "Clemency is a feminine name, is it not?" Perhaps she hadn't known its gender at first, or maybe she was making reference to a 'girly' nature. Maybe she just liked the sound of the name.
Skiron settled a little when it seemed that the girl wasn't going to go after his trainer, but although his fur smoothed down he hadn't relaxed. There was something he did not like about her, other than her treatment of her pokemon. Her manner was... was... He didn't like it. Leaning against Frost's leg, the ice type continued regarding the female human carefully. If she did suddenly decide to start something up he would be ready.

"It is - actually." she replied, not removing her eyes from the margins of her chosen tome. "However, he is a male. I just like the meaning."
Ah, if was more than the meaning she enjoyed. It was the fact that he was what she was not, merciful. Well, not anymore anyway. Len was once the sweet little thing people thought her to be, but she discovered the truth. Honesty hurts, truly, but you must get used to the pain yes?
Memento mori.
What sounds like a creative name to a mint brand is actually what she had come to live by. Remember your mortality but oh, how she wished to rise above even higher than the He himself.

"Mercy," Frost opened his book, scanning the first page absent-mindedly. "I find it pleasing to give pokemon names that are... fitting. It takes patiences in some cases to wait and see what they should be named, but the... the neatness of a good name is worth the effort. My glaceon there is Skiron; an ancient culture named their god of the cold north-westerly wind that, he was the herald of winter... Less based on his personality, of course, and more merely on what he is but I still find that preferable to 'Fluffy' or 'Mister Cutie' or similar."
Frost being Frost was unaware of the distracted air the green-haired girl had about her, but Skiron was not so oblivious and he was slightly disturbed. He was used to his master being odd and withdrawn, but not other humans... Unless perhaps this one was like his trainer. It was possible, but the way she had treated her meganium still troubled him. She could still be trouble, so he wasn't going to let his guard down.

"What a beautiful name." Len commented as she cast the Glaceon a lukewarm smile. It possibly wasn't enough to melt that frigid air she had produced for the poor Eon, but hopefully it'd still any hostility it had for her. Or maybe not; some apricorns are hard to crack after all.
A dainty caterpillar fingered the edge of her tome's page and rotated the corner downwards. In a quick trum!, Lennyka rested it to the table's top and removed another from the stack beside her. She was reading up on things, dangerous things, and the fluster of her brow on the topics of violence was menacing.
Clemency fluttered his flower again, more pollen pooling from the indigo bud. He was practically doing anything now to obtain his owner's affection; even choosing to annoy her for it. By Arceus, he was not going to leave until she was nice to him. He loved her!

"Thank you," Frost nodded slightly, "I was pleased with it." It had not been so fitting whilst Skiron had been an eevee of course, but it had indicated to any decently educated person what he intended to evolve him to... She had quite a large stack of books there. "What are you reading about?" asked Frost, who had never believed in the silly phrase 'might I ask'; nobody ever waited for an answer before asking their question anyway. "You are not obligated to answer of course," he added, "I am merely curious..." Egh, yuck, more pollen; Frost pursed his lips very slightly in what would have been a grimace from a more expressive man and fanned the spores away. Why did the grass type insist on such behavior even after it had been reprimanded? Foolish creature.
Skiron relaxed only very slightly at the compliment; this woman still worried him, and when her meganium wafted more pollen into the air he gave an concerned chirr. Why did she completely ignore him? Why had his struck him? Couldn't she tell he only wanted her to pay a bit of attention. Deciding that the green-haired woman probably wasn't a danger to his trainer, the 'eon got to his paws and padded over to give the distressed grass-type a sympathetic nudge.

"Nothing quite too amazing." she answered with a little waft of her hand. "Just some books on different Pokemon evolution." Her favorite topic out of everything from fantasy to true non-fiction. She was so obsessed with the sciences it was truly amazing she was not in part of the science department. There is a large possibility she would have been a great member to their team. Like her brother, however, the Labs felt as foreign as Steel pokemon to a pure Water type user. Len felt as though it was somewhere she didn't belong.
Besides, Team Rocket Headquarters always make it feel as though she doesn't belong. One of a naive soul, pure if you must. What was she possibly doing in this kind of evil syndicate?
"How about you? What are you reading?"
Clemency turned an indigo eye down towards the nudge and blinked. He halted his rain of pollen than and tilted his head down towards the Ice type, slightly shuddering at the fact he was weak against the type.
"Megnnnn." it hummed terribly, scooting away with in a slight hop. "Nnnn."

"Nothing too much myself," Frost replied with a shrug that somehow looked somehow artificial and rehearsed, "I am investigating Spiritomb. This book is... hearsay. Legends. Rumors. It does not pretend to be solid fact, rather it is a compilation of popular opinion and... and such. I believe I should know how many people feel about this strange pokemon as I have recently caught one... I find the subject of evolution interesting; thoughts on how and why pokemon change as they do, about why some such as eevee can change into such different forms and... and so on." Perhaps that had been too much ramble, but it was and interesting subject, and she had to think so too if she was reading about it.
As the grass type moved away from him, Skiron gave a chirr of apology and took a pace back; he hadn't considered the weakness the other had to him. Still, he hoped that his gesture of support was understood. Why did the woman treat him that way? He couldn't understand her actions, and he wasn't sure he wanted to.
