Bliss was quite pleased with life at the moment. Dad had decided he needed to go shopping at the mall, which was always full of the most amazing smells and things and colors and people! Nothing was better than the little video arcade they had either! Tarot whined though, and Dad wouldn't have left her there anyway. Apparently Bliss wasn't a good babysitter. It wasn't her fault though, Dad lost Tarot a lot too! Tarot was just a good hider. After a little bit of pleading and bunches of promises not to go anywhere, Dad gave her some quarters and told her to have fun. The first thing Bliss ran to was the dancing machine. It was great, playing lots of great music and you got to jump around lots! It didn't play any of her favorite songs, but she guessed that was fine. For today Bliss was wearing her favorite orange and black stockings and top, with her black gloves, black sandals, and black and gray skirt. All topped off with her black ribbon and orange skull hair barette, for maximum Halloween effect. She'd decorated her skin with an overall gray hue and stitches to look like one of her favorite characters from her favorite movie. Which meant she was a favorite favorite, awesome! She stood on the dance machine, humming "This Is Halloween" under her breath while she tried to pick which song she wanted to dance to next.

Today his family had come to the mall to do some clothes shopping for Seidh and while Fremere wouldn’t have minded being led around the girl’s section his mother was rather generous to him. Thus she had dropped him off at the arcade after swearing on his life that if he went anywhere else there would be trouble. The boy promised of course that he would still be here when they returned and after receiving his own handful of quarters he was left to his own devices.
Fremere grinned excitedly as he stared all around the arcade with wide, shining eyes. This was so cool! All the fun games and the friends to be made! He wanted to play games with other people! Apparently he didn’t have to look around for too long, for soon his fiery orange gaze settled on a dance machine in the center of the arcade where a girl was looking over the panel. Oh! It looked like she might need another player! Never one to pass up the chance to make yet another friend, Fremere bounded over to her.
“Hi there!” He greeted excitedly once he was close enough. “My name is Fremere! What’s your name?” He then held his hand out to the girl. “Can I play with you?”

Bliss giggled. "I'm Bliss," she said, forgetting Dad's warning not to talk to strangers. This boy wasn't a stranger, he was Fremere! 'Sides, Dad's rules only seemed to apply to adults, and Fremere looked about her age. Handshakes weren't really her thing, not in the traditional sense; far too polite and boring! As she introduced herself she reached and seized his hand, then flipped it rather than shake it. She did a quick trace over the back of it and left behind a tiny pumpkin in the middle, much like those little stamps you got when entering places with loads of game or fun stuff so they knew you belonged or something. The explanation Dad gave really hadn't made sense.
"Sure, you can play! Know how to dance," Bliss asked, tapped on the controls with her feet to pull back to the player options. She selected the 2-player section, and a screen popped up demanding more quarters for the extra person.

“That’s a pretty name!” Fremere complimented, grinning from ear to ear. “Nice to meet ya, Bliss!” He watched as she instead flipped his hand and then traced something onto it. When a pumpkin-like stamp appeared on the back of his hand Fremere’s eyes widened in awe. “That’s so cool!” He exclaimed, taking a moment longer to look it over before looking back up at the girl. “Thank you!”
“Yes, I know how to dance!” The boy replied eagerly, watching the screen and then when it asked for more quarters he quickly popped some in. After that was done, he took his place on the little platform next to Bliss and stared at the screen, wiggling in anticipation. “You can pick any song you want!” He didn’t care. Dancing was dancing to him.

Anything with Halloween-themes were so totally cool in Bliss' mind, but she gave Fremere a wide grin at the compliment anyway. "Pumpkins are the easiest, but I'm trying to learn how to do skeletons," she said, waggling her fingers in midair.
Bliss snapped her attention back to the screen so quickly you'd have thought she was being pulled around by giant, invisible rubber bands. It was a shame this machine didn't have any Halloween songs, but Bliss knew which one she wanted to play. A couple taps of the foot, and techno began to blare out of the speakers.
"Let's go," Bliss cried eagerly, as the arrows indicating the steps began to fly up from the bottom of the screen.

Fremere looked awed when Bliss announced that she was working on creating skeletons next. “I can’t wait to see!” He replied, grinning as he tapped his hand where the pumpkin was. “I still think this is pretty sweet though! The best pumpkin I’ve seen!”
He now had a goofy, wide smile as on his face as he watched the girl go through the selection of songs. He had played on this machine quite a few times, and was in the process of trying to get Seidh to play it with him too. No such luck yet though! He was going to ease her into it he was sure, one of these days! He even offered to keep playing it on easy with her. When Bliss announced that it was time to start, Fremere set to work trying to keep up with the arrows flying across the screen, laughing all the while.
“I love this song!”

Bliss giggled as she danced. She probably wasn't doing nearly as well as she could, but focusing on just feet movements was so boring! If she was going to spend the hard-earned quarters she had begged out of Dad on a game, then she was gonna have fun!
"I know, right! I really really wish they had some Halloween music, but this stuff is kinda close." Bliss just loved how most Halloween songs made her dance using her whole body. Some genres felt like arm dances, or leg dances, or just turning in circles. Techno was kinda like that too, but there were a couple that had the perfect dancing grooves that she was looking for!
((Do we wanna do an RNG for their game scores, or just ignore that part of it lol?))
