 Bajingan had escaped his horrible mother, after hours of purposefully tormenting her just to hear her scream his name. He really believed they had a love hate relation ship for each other. Plus he just loved to irritate her. But that quickly got old and the young leopard cub found himself bored as usual. There was no one else around except his brothers, and half the time they didn't want to listen to his tall tales.
Letting out a very bored sigh, he crouched down, ears pinned flat to his head, his rear wiggling in the air as he prepared to pounce upon his unsuspecting brother, Caitan. A cheeky grin spread across his face as his brother sat mostly unaware...or at least Baji thought. His claws flexed in and out of the ground and his tail flicked. He could see it now. Another grand story to elaborate and impress someone else with. The tale of how he took down his fierce mighty brother with his own two powerful paws.
Baji's smile increased, as he now crept flat against the ground...and then with all his might, sprang at his brother, paws wide open for an attack.

Caitin flicked an ear, his blue-green eyes rolling in his head. He wished Baji would just get on with it already, the whole butt wiggle annoyed him to no end. Really, how was writhing around like an epileptic snake going to help you pounce?
Caitan listened, hearing the tick tick of his siblings paws scrap the ground, the leopard cub let his body relax, and when he heard the dirt give away to Baji's back legs, Caitan rolled to the side.
One moment he was in a roll the next he was up on his feet, teeth bared at Baji, snarling at him in temperament, " Don't you have anyone else to bother?" Caitin hissed, " I am NOT a prop for you to practice your pathetic pouncing on. Go stalk mother's tail or something."

Success! Baji was lined up perfectly. Caitan was soon to be his.....or not. Baji met the ground with a hard plop and a tumble. When he finally stopped rolling, he was face first in the dirt, the delicious moist beads of sand trickling down his throat and tickling his tongue. His rear had stopped mid air, his bushy tail draped down over his head, his legs splayed most ungracefully.
Groaning and spitting out the sand, the leopard cub slowly sat up and shook himself vigorously. A frown spread across his face. "Thats just SO NOT cool Bro." he huffed and puffed as he whipped around on his toes to glare at Caitan. "Can't you act like a noooooorrrmal cub for once?" he said, drawing out the word normal, and placing specific emphasis upon each syllable, complete with exaggerated paw movements. His ears were flat against his head and he tilted it to the side, several more bits of grass and sand trickling off. His tail flicked hard, thumping against the ground and a tiny growl escaped his throat.

Caitan gave his brother a bored look, and lifted his front left paw and began cleaning between his toes, " Is normal like you Baji? Because if that is the case, I'd rather not, but thank you for your concern to my social habits, brother dear." His tone was snide, just this side of contemptuous.
Caitan raised an eyebrow at Baji's growl, his lip curling up over his baby teeth, his eyes glittering for a moment, " Now, I know you were not so foolish to just growl at me..were you, dear, sweet, Baji?" There was a disturbing menace to his tone, that reflected in his ocean born eyes.

The white, blue and pink cub snorted, narrowing his two toned eyes. He didn't like the tone of his own brothers voice, but then again, he didn't like his mother either, so he shrugged it off. "Who says I'm concerned about you?" he mumbled to himself and snorted. But it was what his brother said next that made him take a complete 360 turn.
If it was one thing that was Baji's downfall, it was that he wasn't scared. Of anything. Not even his brother. He would even limp home with his head held high and a new story to tell of how he was wounded. But none of that passed through his head right now. Instead, a smirk passed over his lips. "Maybe you don't know everything?" he taunted and lashed his tail back and forth. A cocky grin stretched from one ear to the next.

Caitan paused in his foot bathing, turning to look at his brother with a flat gaze, his voice distant, as if he was thinking of something else as he spoke, " For once you are right little Baji, I do not know everything, not yet."
The pale cub stood with an easy grace that belied his age and he closed the few paces that were between him and his sibling, his weight balanced as he circled around Baji, " but what I do know brother dear...is that I could hurt you, leave you unable to walk, easy prey for the hyena's and vultures," Caitan's voice was a smooth purr, " and you know what little Baji...mother wouldn't care. No one would."

Nope. He still wasn't scared. He should be. But he wasn't. It was his own brother after all, how serious could he get. And he knew mother didn't care. He often tormented her just for the sheer pleasure of it. Poi would care....maybe...would he? Probably. Baji was super cool after all. In his head at least. And he wouldn't back down, not even if he knew for certain he would lose.....which...he didn't. Because in his head, he came first and everyone else was after. And he could totally take on his brother, pfff. Yeah right.
He sat tall and flicked his tail tip, watching his brother only with eye movements, no swivel of the head. His whiskers twitched as his brother continued to speak and he let out a yawn. "You know I'm beginnin to think your all talk... 'brother dear.'" he spat out the last words in mockery. Seriously, did any of his family know how to fave fun? Good grief, he was born into the wrong litter, that was for damn sure.
