Deep in the Lost Woods Daniel pondered a very disturbing question.
Why did the Triforce choose him to be a sage.
He has indeed been the sage of the forest for many many years now. It has been so long now that Daniel had nearly forgotton when it had happened. He had felt the power of the sage flow through him so much so that he could feel even the smallest living thing on the forest flow or in the branches of trees and even the trees themselves.

Sora was walking through the forest when he spotted a boy. He looked like that sage of the forest he always saw in books as a kid but he knew he couldn't be him. He looked about sora's age. Hey! What're you doing here? He asked the boy. He ran up to him. He saw the boy was thinking so he just sat down and began to play an old kokiri tune that was once known as Saria's Song on his ocarina.
