The Von Der Bach Family  The Von Der Bach family has always been one of the most prestigious family or Nirvani. Their origin can be traced back to the very first settlement on the island. In fact, they were the ones to subvention the construction of Nirvani, a good 500 years ago. Being from a rich family of merchant, it was nothing for them to take a good dozen of their boats, shove unimportant people of the society on them and force them to leave Europe to settle in the middle of the Ocean. In other words, they were the first owner and Lords of the island, rilling in wisdom and equity.... until a 100 years ago, that is.
The then Lord of the island went completely crazy. He put his youngest son in a crate and sent him through express delivery to a random address in a random country he had just made up. Suffice to say that said-son didn't felt like coming back home any time soon. Instead, he decided to roam the worlds looking for adventure! However, the only 'Adventures' he had, were called Ruthie, Monika, Lana, Julie and...Frank. Two of those people (our bet is one of them is Frank) gave him a daughter each. He kept "adventuring" with his daughters for a good twenty years until all his money ran out. Trying to win some more in poker, he instead lost all the rest... and more.
Forced to work for a loan shark in order to repay his debt, he sent his daughters back to his father, hoping that he would at least take them back, or have become crazy enough to no notice them living in the same house as him. Unfortunately the old man had died only three years after he had sent his son away and his house had been taken over by some eccentric man with too much animals for his own good.
But all hopes where not lost! The sisters were able to move into their old family log cabin somewhere in the middle of the woods, where next to the panther den! Of course, "old log cabin" for the Von Der Bach meant "Huge House" for any normal citizen, inlcuding the sisters. They tried their best to clean it up and change it into normal living quarter, but soon decided it wasn't worth it. They had 2 rooms, a kitchen, a living room and a bathroom, that was enough for them. The youngest of the two, did change an other room as her workshop, loving to play with random thing to do random stuff (her words). As for the res of the mansion cabin, it remains dark, dusty and full of spider's web.... still, the oldest sister can often be found sitting in those rooms, reading an old book by candle light as a couple of spiders sleeps on her shoulder...
One day, the oldest sister found a cute little teddy bear in the corner of one of those rooms. Taking it for her own, he became her best friend and convince her that they had mopped around long enough in the cabin and it was time to make their presence known to the world! That's right, the sister had been living on the island for almost two years now, and no one had even seen them. The oldest sister forced the youngest to register for school, while she open her own little shop, selling common things like clock, candles, charms, newt's tail, frog's eyes, voodoo doll, shrinked heads.... usual stuff.

Oh? Why...Why are you asking my name? Well... if you really need to ask... you... You can call me Freja Von Der Bach... Because... well... because that's what my father decided to call me! Yes.. my father named both me and my sister... Why didn't my mother? Well... I do not know. She was dead before I could ask her.... And... well... Being of Danish decent, my father wanted us to have Danish names so... our mother wouldn't really have a say....I think? I dunno... she's dead. Ask her?
My...My b-birthda-day? Well... I was born on... on the Twenty Eight of Fall, Twenty seven Twenty Eight years ago... But why... why would you want to know that... I don't like birthday partied... so... so.. Don't you dare!...
What... what do you mean what sexuality I am? I... I think it's clear that... that I am a female! Isn't it.... Yes.. I'm a Heterosexual Female!... I think?
The....things I... Like? Well.. I really like Victorian Dresses, Ribbons, Candles and Books... oh! and Sweets!! But... what I really, really loves are Plums, Clocks, Teddy Bears, Ghosts and Occult Stuffs!"
The....things I... hate? I... I don't really hate a lot of stuff.. I'm not a big fan of Sour Food, Cars and Non-believers. Oh, but what I really, really hates are Bunnies and Midgets. Those are evil, and you know it...
My... my job? Well... I do... have a small shop... of.. don't laugh! A shop of Occult...things... A Magic Shop!
If I have... a journal? As a mater of fact... I do... have one. It's somewhere... uh... Oh, you're stepping on it actually! ! Can you... can you move?
A...theme song? Why... why would I have a theme song.... It I did... It would probbaly be.. something like...uhm... a Ghost Story or Robo-Wings

What do you mean if you have chance with me, you creep? I might be a Heterosexual Female, but you don't have a single chance with me, that's for sure! Gosh.

A Journal? Yeah, sure! It's somewhere in my workshop! Don't ask me where. I barely use it!

──────────────────────────────────── Xochiquetzal, or 'Pretzel' as her aunties have called her, was born to Mao Xiqui and Freja von der Bach during an experimental fertility drug trial – or so she's been told, though she hardly understands that one bit. She came to be born on the Goddess Festival, which apparently is an explanation of some sort for her odd eye and hair color, but, outside of that, she seemed to be just the regular little baby. She was very quiet and hardly ever gave her parents trouble – unless they take her hat away. At which point she can scream louder than anyone could think possible of such a silent child. But, neither seem to have a reason to do that to her, so she was normally found doing pretty well in her crib. Half of the year she spends with Freja, while the other half can be found with Mao, but she didn't seem to notice much difference outside of who she has a particular dislike of. Lotte when she's with mother and Newt when she's with father.. Ah, but she does enjoy mother's particularly for the octopus in the shop, to which she falls asleep pretty fast when she's in a position to watch him.────────────────────────────────────

Charlotte the Spider
Named after a childhood story, Charlotte is Freja's first pet. Found inside the cabin when they moved to the island, the two of them quickly striked a friendship that only a spider and a human can have. Charlotte enjoys reading stories with Freja, sitting on her shoulder, in one of the dark room inside the woman's cabin. Charlotte is also the leader of the hundred of spiders that can be found there, making her a sort of arachnid royalty. Because of their friendship, Charlotte accepts Freja to collect venom from her. Spider Queen Venom is a rare and powerful ingredients!
Arthur the Rat
Famous among his fellow Rodents, Arthur is a French rat-explorer! Having travelled most of Europe, he was on his way to the New World when the ship he was on got wreaked by the Great Hurricane. Living on the island since then, he has found a home in the hole behind the wall of what would become Freja's kitchen. Freja and him have a roommate relationship, respecting each other's space. He sometimes brings her random berries and roots from his travels in the woods, and in exchange, she gives him cheese.
Boris the Bullfrog
Grumpy Boris, like Freja likes to call him, is an old Bullfrog that lives in the backyard of Freja's cabin. Often found complaining about everything and anything on the big rock behind the cabin. All that complaining makes him secret a lot of saliva, which Freja then take for various usage.
Gunther the Octopus
Imported directly form the land of weird a** creature (Australia's coral reef), the octopus is currently being kept in a large tank inside the magic shop. Freja uses the ink released by him for various purpose, including selling it. The Octopus, however, either trying to escape the woman or simply because he is suicidal, often escape the thank and forces Freja (and Una) to look for him.
