Horoscopes --- This lady really loves them. Ever since she was in middle school, she has checked her horoscope daily. She loves knowing what her lucky number is that day and will often try wear it in some way. Be it that many items of clothing, accessories, or the actual number itself as long as it looks tasteful. If you are a friend of hers, you can say definitely say your horoscope is no mystery you, fore she texted it to you this morning.

Fashion --- She is quite the little fashionista. Seraphina always looks amazing, or at least she thinks she does. When it comes to pairing outfits, she knows exactly what looks good on her and how she should wear it. She is great at matching colors and styles, but also enjoys designing outfits in her spare time, she went to school for such things, after all. She is no designer however, though she truly believes she has serious flare for knowing just what will look perfect. Not only that, she can often tell you who made it and if its one of her favorite designers kudos to you. Seraphina, also has no qualms about wearing something that isn't designer because really who hasn't found that perfect item, in H&M or Kohl's. Be warned however, she owns a boutique and delights in dressing her customers.

Movies --- Seraphina is a movie fanatic, if it has come out then she has seen and or probably went to the midnight showing if she couldn't get early viewing tickets. WELL at least she wishes, but she does see as many as time will allow. She will travel to see a movie and will not be the least bit disappointed if she absolutely hated it. It is really the thrill of seeing it she enjoys. She has a room in her penthouse apartment completely dedicated to movies. It resembles a small theater and has a giant wall of movies on the back wall. If Seraphina's seen it and you know her or shop at her boutique may have gotten a review or two, but thankfully no spoilers. She will assure you ... unless you are a talker, this is her idea of best date night ever, aside from shopping.

Clipping --- She collects information on the goings on in DC as well as the world, but obviously not everything. From celebrities to simple DC wedding announcements, she has clipped many things. She has many scrapbooks filled with clippings, but the most recent being the terrorist scrapbook. It contains news clippings, a list of youtube links, and generally any information on the subject that she can get her hands on. It is her secret obsession, that isn't so secret, since she often seems to be as in the know as the news allows. Don't call it scrapbooking, she is not an old maid or an over enthusiastic mother, or a teenie bopper.

Virtues:

Give to the world --- This also stems from her days in pageantry. She had to give speeches about what she wanted to do in the future for herself and the world and while she knew for most it was complete who-ha, for her a lot of it was true. She sends a portion of her boutiques sales to help fund orphanages in improvised countries as well as in her own country, from time to time. She donates blood at least once annually, AB is hard to come by. She is usually willing to lend a helping hand, especially if it is for something she loves. Looking for the perfect outfit, she would be right beside you helping to make sure it is just what you want. Want to go the movies, haven't enough cash, she would invite you and bunch of friends and pick up the tab, or even throw a movie night party at her place. Plus an added bonus for others are charity weekend sales at her boutique, in which a portion of the sales usually 10- 15 percent goes to charity. Dates are texted out, posted on fliers and put up on the shops facebook page ... and they might just be the best time to get those designer boots you we're dying for. She gives because she wants to, though it is definitely an added bonus if it makes her look good. She was blessed and she knows not everyone one is so fortunate as she was, so she tries to spread her wealth and good fortune.

Life of the party --- She enjoys having a good time and dragging other's along for the ride. She goes to the clubs, has parties, and even barbecue's. She often tries to be the life of the party. She loves to dance and she is not at all shy about it. She would be the first one on the dance floor if she has her way and and tries to dance with many people through out the night. Weekend trip, shes there. Cruises, shes there. Camping, shes there. As long she can fit it into her schedule, shes all for it. She won't do anything too crazy or reckless, but otherwise she is your girl. She was under lock and key for too long and when she broke loose, boy did she ever.

In the know --- If you need to know something, Seraphina's the one to go to. She hears so much gossip while at work. From cheating husbands to the latest crazes (did someone say silly bands), pregnancies, bar mitzvahs, first birthdays and much more. She has the ears of a hawk and can play the trusting confidant like a champ, or so she thinks. Not everyone is going to spill to her, but thats okay with her, though she does like to know. Also while she might be privy to these little facts Seraphina knows that not everyone needs to know them and she is most certainly not a gossip. She isn't going to give out someone's information to a nosy busy body, but trust me guys if you are cheating and Sera knows, then your girlfriend will find out.

Flaws:

Miss Facade --- Seraphina is a retired pageant girl and beauty queen. She has learned to really put on a face and fake it with the best since she was just a little girl. For this reason it is very hard to tell what she really thinks of you and more so if you really know anything about her at all. Her oldest friends will tell you, getting past the facade if she deems it a necessity is kinda hard, not that is isn't possible. She could even wear a smile when her world is falling apart and if she was depressed most might not ever notice.

Vanity is my sin --- Seraphina is a vain as they come and no one can tell her that she isnt beautiful. She has plenty of trophies, ribbons and prize money to say otherwise. They are displayed very prominently in a cabinet in her bedroom, as well as the living room, but only just a few there. This woman has quite a few of them. Try telling her she is ugly or unfashionable and she might just slap you, or at least give you a death glare. She thinks she is most beautiful and she likes to tell herself so, on a daily basis. Mirror, Mirror, on the wall anyone?

I'm doing me --- To go along with her vanity, Seraphina has developed the notion that right now is her time to shine. Her life is all about what she wants and if you don't agree than you might not be worth her time. She is going to do her and you should do you and mind your own. She dates who she wants, goes where she wants and is very focused on making her boutique the best in DC. If she dated him last week, but is with that guy the next week it is her business. She knows what she is doing so be quiet. She is not looking to be the future Mr. Whoever, nor does she want to be saddled with a child, not that she doesn't like children. She does, but still, being realistic it is hard to just do you with a child.

Seraphina owns a boutique in downtown Destiny City that caters to all kinds. Her boutique sells men's and women's clothes for adults and teens. She also sells jewelry, handbags, scarves, belts and shoes. The clothes are designer from well known and lesser known brands. She also has non name brands clothes, but section is only one quarter of the store. The store is done and neutral tones with a splash of color and often has manikins dressed to mimic looks from fashion magazines.

The charity thing she does because she want to, its an added bonus if it makes her look good. The world is a tough place and she was blessed, she knows this and she does want to give back!

Those are very good questions.

I can imagine Sera has ton's on friends, most of which probably aren't real friends. I would say her generous and fun loving nature would have earned her a few good friends, who really know Sera well. At the same time I would say that is one of the kinks that would be worked out in rp and plotting. I do not see her as a lonely person even if she did not have any real friends or maybe she just wouldn't notice the loneliness if that makes sense.

As for competitors Sera know not of what you speak. Her boutique is the best and she has the best sales and her store is popular among the teens and even on her driest day, she would tell you this. Though good competition is always fun and a good way for Sera to prove she is the best, the very best.

Sera gets on fairly well with people she dislikes. The probably would not even know that she dislikes them. She will smile on the outside and share a casual conversation if the need arises, but she keeps them strictly business, nothing personal on either end. If she needs to be around you she will be, stay out of her way and she will ignore you, but she isn't going to spread rumors or act in terrible manner toward the other. I hope this makes sense.

Right now, I think the main issue with Seraphina is that you polarize her too much. Almost every single trait she has is written in the most extreme sense:

Fashion -- She ALWAYS picks the PERFECT outfit for EVERYONE.

Movies -- She sees them ALL.

Scrapbooking -- She keeps track of EVERY person to go missing and details ALL weird stuff.

Charity -- She gives it ALL away to EVERYONE.

Parties -- She dances with the MOST people and is the life of the party.

Gossip -- She knows ALL the gossip and ALL her friends come to her for it.

This is too much. She can THINK she is the best at all of this, but the truth cannot be that she is. When you go to revise, I would recommend toning all of that down. You can definitely say that she believes that she has the perfect eye for fashion, but currently, you write it as if that is 100% truth, which is can't be. Right now, Seraphina is the BEST and MOST at almost all of the traits you have prescribed to her.

On the flaws, specifically:



This is too strong. I definitely think FACADE is a good flaw for her, but this line makes it sound like, again, she is infallible in this regard. NO ONE can break her down, unless she wants them too! You do say that it is possible, but it just hasn't happened yet. But Seraphina is 29. If it has NEVER happened, then it is too domineering. You'll need to reel it in so she seems more like a person and less like a caricature.



Again, this is too strong! I think VANITY is a wonderful flaw for her, but the way that you portray it makes it sound like she really is the most beautiful person in the world. It is a very extreme reaction to immediately break off all ties with anyone who doesn't think she is the most beautiful, wonderful thing to have ever graced the planet's surface. How would she have any friends? She would have to be a cult leader with a gaggle of yes-men who just constantly tell her exactly what she wants to hear. I would tone this down in your revision, for sure.

Her I'M DOING ME flaw is acceptable, in my opinion. However, if she is really "selfish to the extreme" then you need to go back to her charitable virtue and explain that she does those things to feel better about herself. If she is truly charitable and generous constantly, than you will need to revisit this trait and, at the very least, delete the last line about her only caring about herself to an extreme degree.
