There were fights to be had somewhere on this sleepy, snowy night, Chaonis was sure of it! It was cold and miserable, despite what his father might think. Why did it keep snowing? He had hoped the stuff would melt off and go away, but no. Here came more of it, and it was colder than ever.
The cold just made everything boring. No one went to the park, so he rarely had anyone to pick fights with or simply pick on. No one went outside, because it was just too cold. He imagined people were at the library more, but Tony wanted him to go there and he didn't, so that was out. So he was mostly just bumming around, looking for things to do.
At least he had patrol.
He was perched on a bench on a fairly abandoned street, looking around for any sign of a youma or a nega causing trouble. He listened for any sound of it, tried to use his senshi senses to feel it.
There had to be something. Somewhere. And he was going to find it. But he would probably have to get off his butt and go looking. Eventually.

It was so cold, Spica was the Senshi of candles, pretty nice during winter to be lighted up by candles, but it was not keeping her hot. Anyway she needed to patrol, she would love much to spend time at the library but she needed to work her senshi part, more now she discovered a new attack.
But it was kind of boring to be alone in the dark. And her fuku had no pocket to put a book to study.
So right now she was walking around without real point, she usually went on deserted street, it looked like Youma liked to show up here often. But it looked like it will be a quiet night, or so she thought.

Chaonis sighed, thinking that the night was a waste. Man, this whole 'senshi' thing was only awesome sometimes. When fights found him he certainly had fun, but the whole patrolling thing? Not his bag. He made a face and decided to finally give up in his efforts, as minimal as they were, to have a fight come to him.
Maybe he would have to go pick one.
He spotted a form on the street soon enough, recognizing a fuku and knowing that it was a senshi. He frowned, moving over to her. It wasn't a senshi he had seen before, and he nodded his head at her.
"Yo," he said, though not in greeting. "I'm covering this street. Don't think about stealing any youma that might show up, you know?"

Spica was tired, and on this street there was nothing interresting. She had almost decided to go back home or at least change the patrolling zone, when she heard voice.
A man, a Senshi came her way and started talking with her, well it was not a greeting and quite rude actually. She raised an eyebrow,
“And since when the Youma are private property? This street is everyone’s and if a Youma attack me I will not just say : Hey please save me”
She was kind of upset, did this guy think Youma hunting was a game? It was not for Spica, it was a serious matter regarding the fact she almost lost her life once or twice already.

Chaonis scoffed, shrugging his shoulders.
"Public street or not, I'm doing my patrolling here and it's kinda pointless to have two senshi on the same block, you know? Even if a youma shows up."
And as if on cue, one did. The street rumbled and Chaonis looked down, half thinking it was his fault. Usually, because of his attack, if the ground was shaking then it was his fault. But he hadn't used it yet, so something was not right.
He looked around, then down the street. Standing a few blocks down from them, the street going straight for some distance, was a large, shadowy shape. The ground continued to rumble.
"Huh, would you look at that."

Spica almost wanted to hit him, he was the first male senshi she met and yet he already upset her. Who did he think he was?
But while she was keeping her calm she felt the street rumbling, a Youma was around.
Great, and now I need to deal with two bothering things , she thought while glaring at the senshi.
"So now I am allowed to stay?" she said and took a defensive position, it will come their way soon enough and it looked big....

"I never said that," he scoffed, but he raised his guard and watched the youma at the end of the street. It must have seen them, and was watching them. Maybe. The street kept rumbling though, and it wasn't getting closer.
"What the hell?"
It started rolling, though, with surprising speed. It looked like a giant boulder, rushing toward them. The ground had stopped rumbling, at least.
"Whoa, s**t!" Chaonis grabbed Spica's arm and lunged with her out of the way as the rolling boulder of a youma nearly squished them. He was thankful for the soft snow, at least. Despite getting soggy, it softened the skid once they hit the ground. The youma screeched to a halt and turned, but was still again. The rumbling resumed. Chaonis looked at Spica, frowning. "You got any good moves?"

Spica eyes were wide openned, it was not time to pick a fight with this guy anymore, a big boulder was coming toward us, and it was not to play circus.
She went to jump on the side but she was grabbed by Chaonis and lunged with him out of the way of the Youma.
Oh crap, can be good for diet but afterlife was not for now.
"I am the Senshi of candles, I can manage to make it stop moving.... maybe, but this is rock! Can you do better than just talking?"

Chaonis frowned. Usually he would say an attack that made it stop moving was useless, but it was exactly what they needed at the moment. The youma was fast, and looked heavy, considering how it rumbled.
He saw the youma though, and shook his head.
"I don't think it's a rock..."
It wasn't. Rather, it was a giant armadillo, of sorts, the size of a large car. It could curl up into a solid ball, and would roll to attack while it's body protected it from damage. It did unroll though, and stood still, not turning its head to look around but rather staying still. That's when the floor would rumble, and it seemed to be able to find them through the vibrations.
But Chaonis didn't put any of that together.
"Alright, my attack is all physical. I can punch that thing to dust, but you'll have to stop it. You said you could, right?" As he spoke, the youma rolled toward them again.

It was not a rock ? Spica looked closely, and actually it really was not, much like an animal. Crap, there was one thing the Senshi really hated; it was fight against animal, even if they were Youma. She grew up with animals and hurting them was really not her politic.
But this armadillo Youma, or what looked like an armadillo will not bother crushing them if she didn’t stop it. “Yeh, I can probably stop it. Get ready too” Well she hoped. Her attack had stop a motorcycle Youma once, why not a rolling animal?
She put her hand together and prepared her wax ball. No need for fire for this one, the purpose was to stop, so she will need pure wax ball, and when the hot wax solidify it will block the creature movement. Well it was the general idea.
A big wax ball formed in her hand, and then she created another one. Better to attack from two point than just one. When she finish she threw the two balls toward the ground, the closest to the animal. “Spica hot wax ball” she yelled. The goal was when the animal will roll on it, it will solidify and then it will be stuck. Maybe….

Chaonis nodded, not much for putting his faith in other people, but he needed someone to at least be a distraction. If she could do that, at least, then things would be good. And if her attack actually stopped it? Even better, he supposed.
But he could work with either scenario.
He watched as the youma, the ground rumbling, turned toward Spica as she moved. It seemed it responded to movement through the ground, and probably couldn't see very well. Likely, it didn't know she had thrown a trap. And it didn't: it rolled forward toward her, aiming to crush her, and got struck in the wax.
"Alright!" Chaonis grinned, lifting his fists. "Now it's time for some old fashioned butt kicking. Warning! Fisticuffs ahead!" He yelled, his attack now in play. He charged and punched the youma right in the face, hoping to beat it into dust before his attack backfired and did some damage.

Spica attacked worked and actually she managed to stop the Youma. Great it worked she thought. She didn't want to loose face in front of Chaonis.
She was now watching the senshi with eyes saying "So now show me if you are not just talk". And it look like he was not, his fist was powerful. But Spica loved animals and was a little reluctant about watching. But she guessed Youma were different after all.
"Not that bad" she finaly said. "And now?" She was not convinced just a kick will eliminate the Youma, so she was waiting for it to disappear.

Choanis grinned broadly, seeing her daring look and knowing she wanted him to follow through.
His attack was based on his fists and feet. He didn't have any special energy bolts, any kind of distance attack. He had a surge of energy within himself, that allowed him to deliver stronger or faster hits, and that was good enough for him.
He loved brawling.
Punching the youma repeatedly, he was relentless in his attack, since the youma could do little to fight back. The floor was rumbling, but then the youma burst into dust and the ground continued to shake. It was the drawback to his attack: whenever it wanted to, the energy would backfire and destroy whatever was around. The street began to split like it was caught in an earthquake, and nearby a car alarm started blaring as the window shattered.
"Whoops."

Spica eyes widened, Chaonis managed to destroy the Youma but why the street was shaking even now?
Everything started to break, it was like an earthquake. Wait a minute, he did this? She said with doubtful eyes toward the senshi. Oh my god he destroyed the street too.
She took Chaonis by the hand and started running away. “Whoops? It is all you can say? We will have problem if someone find us, let’s go somewhere else” she said and started running.

Chaonis laughed, nodding his head and running after her. He let her pull him for a bit, then got ahead of her and freed himself of her grasp.
"Believe me, I'm used to the running bit," he called, waving over his shoulder at her.
"If you get caught, I'll look for you in the papers! For now, I'm off! See ya later!"
He laughed, running off as fast as he could and darting down an alley. He imagined he would see her again, and when he did she wouldn't be too happy with him. Which was fine by him: no one ever was, really. He laughed to himself as he climbed up a fire escape and then vanished over the roof tops.
