Apparently downtime in WoW was pretty much non-existant at launch.

used to play. got pretty heavily into it before quitting along with the rest of my friends that play SC2 with me.
Cataclysm came out, and none of us really decided to pick it up again. there's really nothing for us to look forward to in that game anymore, and besides, we're playing SC2 now.

Cataclysm came out, and none of us really decided to pick it up again. there's really nothing for us to look forward to in that game anymore, and besides, we're playing SC2 now. Same pretty much. When I played during wotlk, sometimes it would be like half my guild raid group would be people I know irl. But I decided to quit, for the second time (quit during bc as well) Kept my gear and all, but vendored/de'd whatever i could, and sold my gold and mats to a friend who stayed on playing.

Kurteee Apparently downtime in WoW was pretty much non-existant at launch. I hope you're talking about cata launch =/. WoW actual release launch was terribad. 1-2 hour queues just to log in to a server.
