Should I pick up a few before they are openable, like what happened to the golden egg...

Hard to tell what it will do from here... it all depends on whether or not they put a ring into it. If they put a ring into it then it will likely follow the golden egg trend (which followed the sweetheart ring trend). If not, no one really gives a crap about the items it will give (unless by some miracle they're spectacular).

Although, I am under the impression that it will release a ring because they're taking so long to let it open (same scenario with the golden egg). Just remember that the golden egg took about 2-3 months before it opened (if I remember correctly), so it may take that long, or even longer.

I have yet to start a hoard of it... if I do it will be after I liquidate my golden egg hoard.
