The sight for the battle was one of a modest appearance. The ground was, for the most part, flat and spanning for as far as the eyes could see. The earth was covered in a moist and lively layer of green grass that swayed gently in pulses and waves as the wind rushed over the flat plain. There didn't seem to appear to be an distinct geographic features of the area or any out of the ordinary aspects that would catch another off. Though a wise man would realize to keep so much grass fresh meant rain and rain meant under ground pools of water, which also meant hidden caverns containing the water. This was all out of reach by typical means though.

Letum stood in the center of this field, he seemed to be patiently waiting for his opponent. His eyes were softly closed as he allowed his mind to simply calm and only listen to the things around him. He had no need to be tense or growing impatient due to any wait, the sounds of the calm wind passing through the grass and it helped calm his mind. The steady sound of the wind, almost rhythmic, it also gave him something to do while he waited.

Letum heard the noise and his eyes opened, looking at the direction of the noise and soon spotting his opponent. He watched as the weapon was re-sheathed, extending his arm out to shake his hand. "Pleasure to meet you too." He said as he shook for a brief moment before withdrawing his hand. His right hand tapped against his left forearm and a soft clicking was emitted. "Time to begin." He would await his opponents response first.

Letum gave a smirk and jumped back but as he jumped his left arm flung out to the side. In a black blur and glint a kunai was sent out from a holster to the side as he made a handsign with his right hand, a single handsign to channel chakra into the wire connected to the kunai. The wire was nearly invisible as the chakra flowed through and allowed the kunai to alter its path. Already moving out to the side it began to arch around to the right, aiming for Vicer's back. Due to his inexperience with the technique though he couldn't make precisions attack with such a wide arch needed, only head on could he. As such, the kunai would hit a random point on Vicer's upper back should it not be avoided.

Letum took the opportunity at hand with the distraction of his kunai. Two of his hands drew behind his back, another soft clicking coming out as he pulled two kunai out, both containing an explosive tab on them. He threw them both straight forward, the moment they left his hands he drew his arms back in at his body to make a chain of handsigns.The kunais were yet another distraction, explosive ones at that, one aimed high at his head and another low at his knees. He needed time to prepare the jutsu, it was going to take a moment to release and didn't want to waste it when he wenmt to dodge the kunai. His mind taking mental notes of the mans capabilities, he clearly displayed use of fire, he would make that the man's downfall.

Letum chuckled as the fire didn't go off, but that wasn't their intent. "You're very foolish." He said as his jutsu was prepared and his hands sparked with electricity, arching off from his hands as Vicer inhaled the fire. It was the same jutsu as weapons just altered to be concentrated on the hand but that was going to only last a moment as he swiftly reached around his back to grab two more kunai and pulled them out, both having a thin wire connected to them but it was not connected to a holster. The electricity transferred to the kunai before he swiftly threw then, holding both wire loosely in one hand, nearly invisible. He wouldn't have been able to preform the jutsu with both kunai already in hand and keep his opponent at bay with the distractions.

As the kunai flew at Vicer they arched electricity between each other and buzzed swiftly through the air. The arching kept the two kunai close together, also making them move closer together, as he held the wires in hand, ready at any moment to suddenly change the direction of the kunai. At this point, he was just beginning, he had already forced his opponent into revealing what he was capable of.

Letum gave a smirk as Vicer knocked back the kunais. His hands thrusted up and forward, his palms flexing out towards the kunai as they flew away. "Strike." He said softly as sudden bolts of electricity, small ones, exited his palms out at the kunais that were still electrically charged, severing the strings did not make that effect leave quickly, he still had a instant to react. Vicer would most likely think his attack simply miss and would notice where the lightening quick electricity went till it was to late. Unexpectedly as the electricity passed the kunais it repelled them back towards Vicer, the electrical bolts beings of opposing charge to the charge of the kunais and causing them to be repelled at great speeds. The moment he took earlier to prepare the jutsu allowed him to store more electricity then necessary for a technique that was typically very quick. He initially planned to use this to send a pulse down the wires to the kunais upon contact but his plans changed.

Never the less, the kunais were violently redirected back at Vicer. His hands lightly smoked with small burns from where the electricity exited his body. A very small sacrifice for a surprise strike. He was still at a distance, Vicer was forced into a defensive spot. He would have more then enough time to react to anything that Vicer has planned for his blade.

Letum smirked as Vicer broke one of the kunais and was hit by the second, sadly it didn't cause as much trouble as he wished he didn't need it to. The problem with taking multiple strikes with electricity is it takes longer for your nervous system to recover from such a thing. Large amounts can cause sporadic and long lasting nerve damage as well as muscle spasms that can cause immobility for a temporary amount of time or erratic movements that aren't controllable. He simply needed to compile such damage and it would be all over for Vicer.

He watched as Vicer charged at him with his katana. His left hand moving quickly to grab his own katana, flicking it out to the side as the sun caught on the blood red blade of the sword. He held it in a single hand for a reason, something that Vicer would be unaware of. He awaited Vicer to get closer before he swung to connect their blades for a block, beginning to channel his own chakra into the blade too avoid excessive damage to it from Vicer's.

Letum went to block Vicer's attack but saw him quickly spin around at the last moment, adjusting his blade bur decided against it as he violently pushed off the ground and jumped back. At the moment of his jumped his left hand came to hit his right forearm with the hilt of his blade as a soft click was emitted before he violently swung his right arm in Vicer's direction in mid jump. As he did so a kunai was sent from its holster, connected with the same wire as what had from his left holster. If Vicer went to swing at the kunai he would quickly jerk it back at the last second before contact, it was meant to keep Vicer from trying to strike him mid jump back.
