He probably wouldn't 'cause I'd be like 'OMG I'M GONNA BE ____ IN A WEEK, don't feel any different'.
And so, he will remember.
Also, my boyfriend is very good about knowing specific dates -- I'M the one that forgets.

I don't even remember my own birthday let alone expect other people to remember it.
So uh they can keep on forgetting forever, then I have an excuse to forget their's when I inevitably do.

Considering my birthday is the biggest party day of the year for the world (except maybe the chinese) he'd be a fool and in deep trouble if he forgot. You don't have a woman with a birthday on December 31st and get away with forgetting.

But seriously...a lot of guys just don't care about birthdays. Theirs isn't important to them so they don't give it much thought around thier GFs.
It's not because it's not important enough to remember, they just don't care much for birthdays in general. I had to come out and tell Brandon birthdays and anniversaries are important to me, and he's not the first one I've had to tell.
Just remind him near your birthday. Problem solved.

Birthdays are sort of easy to remember after a bit, but I have no idea how I even know most of the people I know, so ******** if I will ever remember an anniversary.

I don't think his problem is that he doesn't think birthdays are important. He's just really forgetful. He takes about 5 minutes to remember his name after he wakes up.
And he'd never forget ON my birthday, especially because facebook makes it so obvious. And I'm not super upset or anything, I just think its kinda weird.

Dude, that s**t's on facebook. I got people I barely know blowing up my wall with Happy BIRTHDAYYYY, so I would expect the boyfriend to notice.
