The dark leopard was walking on clouds. Well.. when he wasn't in the den of mewing cubs. But he adored them in every way possible. Playing with them and throwing them up and catching them. These cubs- he LIVED for.. his mother would be proud. He had a wonderful mate.. a lifemate that he wouldn't dare leave but in hopes of him finding a better life- instead of living his mother's footsteps. He wouldn't have minded if he made a promise. From cubs- they were... perfect. She licked his broken paws and healed him in ways others couldn't. When he broke every tie with Twana, his wilddog crush. She was there.. and now they had cubs of their own. Ama.
He had woke up probably the middle of the night to go hunting. But he hadn't arrived until early that morning to finally drag in his kill. The night was a very hard time to hunt.. but thankfully there was a VERY unusual sleep walking waterbuck that didn't even see him coming. Dragging it along and propping up the hill that his den was in. Around the den, was leafs, a log on top of it. He dug the den himself when he was smaller.
Now,..... there were little ones in the den. Throwing the buck down and laying upon his kill to breath and relax a bit before dragging it inside. He rose his paw and started to groom himself to make a presentable look.

 Rhea awoke at the sound of her father throwing food on the floor. She left out a small yawn, it was so early... too early...
Rhea would wake up early then her sibling usually but, this was just too early... even for Rhea, but she would survive. She rose to her paws and shook the dirt for her fur. She shook her head to help allow her body to begin waking up as well. As her eyes began to full open and see clearly not just bright lights and blurs, she saw her father grooming himself. She watched him for a moment before mimicking his grooming technique.
Rhea loved her father, she was daddy’s little girl. She always wanted to be just like him. But something she wasn't allowed to do, at least not yet. Her pelt was of much resemblance to hr mothers and well of course her twin brother. Sometimes she could swear even though she was a girl and her brother a boy her dad would still get them confused. But Rhea loved her daddy regardless. Slowly she mad way to her dad maneuvering around her sibling and her mom...

He didn't even notice.. but he was grooming and grooming til he thought he looked good enough to come in. He didn't know if he looked good in front of his children or not but he always wanted to look his best even though he was sickly tired from the hunt before hand. Waking up all kinds of hours just to hunt for the family that he adored. Everything about them- was magical. They all seemed to know their place already.. as cubs. But he wasn't sure the pridal life was fine with him. The roguelands were harsh but at times it seemed like freedom and he didn't want his children to feel as though they were missing out on an adventure.
Aadi knew how that was like. Always moving.. His ears went up as he heard the sound. Catching him almost off guard. Like she thought- sometimes he couldn't tell the difference between the twins but when he looked a little closer.. he found a more and saw teh familiar features of Ama.. that cub style from way back when.. "Rhea? Or.. Nox?" He chuckled softly and very pathetic he couldn't separate their genders. "Though I think its my little Rhea.."

Rhea giggled as her dad always had trouble teliing her and her brother apart. It was always amusing espically when Rhea and Nox actually tried to trick him it was funny. "It's me daddy," Rhea's sweet voice almost matching her mothers. She manuvered her was around to her dad and gently nuzzled against his leg.
Rhea always thought herslf to be daddys girl. Even her brother would mention it from time to time. She was always trying to be like him. She loved her daddy the most even though she would never admit it to anyone else.
Rhea and her brother were nothing alike personality wise, rhea was always more down to earth then her brother. She was like her mother in most ways even though she would try to act like Aadi she could never really do it. She was a young Ama and she could never escape it. Even if she didn't know it she wasn;t like her father.

"So it is.. so it is." Almost like an old fart when he said that. Pulling a paw around her and pulling her up close like a hug except with his huge massive paws. He couldn't help but feel so much love entering his heart as though it'd burst if he snuggled her any longer. Leaning his snout forward, he picked up his child and softly groomed her too. Probably more like Ama should be he didn't mind giving baths too. He always had a love/hate relationship towards baths but that was when he was younger.
He lifted his head up and looked down at her, then turned to the game.. the back to her. "Why don't you take first bite." He smiled humbly and pushed her back softly. "Is your mother awake yet? Nox and everyone?" He whispered.. he always did when someone met him when he came home. Usually always at odd times so he didn't know when they'll be up for not. "Has my sweet little one thought about training yet? Or has your mother already taken you back to her training." He joked softly.

Rhea loved her dad she was daddys little girl. She felt a warmness whenever her snuggled her or was even close by the warmness radfiated through her body. Rhea was caught of guardwhen her father began to groom her. " EWWWW DADDY!!' Even though Rhea was a daddys girl she was still a cub, and as a cub, getting a bath wasnt on her list of her favorite things in the world.
Her face lit up when her father mentioned she could have the first bite, "Really?!?" She was overwhelmed with joy, she was one of three siblings not including her parents, she never got the first bite she was so excited. " No mommy and everyone are still sleepeing." Rhea said as she casually made her was to the lifeless waterbuck. "Mommy said she wanted to take us in a few day to train." She began to look at the game the to her father then back and forth her tail flicking against the ground in anticipation. She didnt want to wait till the family feeding frenzy.

He nuzzled her stomach and sides. He was affectionate and that never wavered no matter how many times he went in for 'battles' in pride. Coming back with a huge smile plastered on her face because of his daughter. "Ew~ huh! Ew!?" He groomed her more til she escaped from his paws and to the game that he offered her. Nodding his head as he watched her butt fly in the air. The prey animal was already dead? Why stalk it? He had no idea but it was fun to watch as he watched with tender eyes.
"A few days you say? She is quite the busy woman then. You I am sure will grow up just like her." Only because he could see that determination and quirk about Rhea that he saw within Ama so long ago. When he decided to abandon his life for hers. "Get the first bite- and hurry~ So I can get the rest of the family." He joked, but would really wait til she finished before setting off in to the cave. Slowly he rose his body to give her a push towards the game. "It doesn't bite now~ go ahead~" Turning his head towards the den. Was this what he wished for?

Rhea stared at the prey, it was like the prey was speaking to her... One moment she was coddled in her fathers paws the next she was watching him hunt... The pray before her was running, still alive her father chasing after it. She saw him, the fangs, they blood, the kill. The waterbuck was dead.. but how... wasnt it already dead.
Rhea frozen with fear, eyes shaking vigourously back and forth; "Death, Dispear, Hunt, Food, Blood~~."Her voice was ominous and dark, like a spirit possesed her. She gasps and fell back. Her body lifeless for a moment, her breathing was normal but as for her...Well she didnt even know what happened... She moved, weak as she stood up. She looked up at her dad. "Daddy,What happened?" She looked up at him, her eyes full of fear~~ She couldnt remember.She didnt know what to do~~

Aadi:
He was just starring out til he heard the stumble and the words spill out of his daughter's mouth like the plague. Not being held back by chains of doubt, he threw himself over to her and coiled around her. Holding his paw under her chin and looking at her face in almost terror.. "Rhea!" He called out to her and looked back in to the den.. he didn't want to worry his mate nor other cubs in to fear so he laid his face against hers. Shaking just a tad, "Rhea.." Then when she spoke of her regular soft angelic voice, he smiled and a tear shread down his face. "Rhea you are ok.." Licking her cheek in carass. "You scared me for a second kiddo.." He whispered so softly..
Rhea:
Rhea looked into her fathers eyes, she didnt know what was going on. "Daddy~~ what happened?" Her voice was shaky she cant remember anything the last thing she remembered was her dad bathing her. "Daddy~~ whats wrong with me?" Rhea was on the verge of tears, nothing like this happened to her before, to anyone on her familt whe was only a cub and she was very scared....
Aadi:
His tear dropped down as he softly carcessed her face. "I'm not sure.." Pressing his face against hers then softly pushing her side and pulling her up by her scruff and taking her to the food. "Maybe you should eat..then get some rest.. but .. or you don't have to eat anything if it causes pain." Nudging her softly and carefully and a soft groom. "I'll talk to your mother about it and see what she thinks.. or we can keep it a secret til I find out whats wrong?"
Rhea:
Rhea shakes her head "Its ok to tell mommy, and yes i am a little hungry." Rhea was being honest she was completely fine, still hungry. She waas just scared, she didnt know why all she knew was she was okay now. "Just dont tell the others~~" She dodnt want them to think she was some kind of freak, she just hoped whatever it was, whatever she cant remember wasn't serious....
Aadi:
He placed his nose on hers before pushing her towards the food like any leopard would do before giving a roar that echoed in to the cave to announce his arrival and that there was food to be eaten. "Just stay close to us til we find out ok?" That's when it all went down hill from there. Seeing his daughter wasn't like the rest- or so he thought. Nox and darker daughter were both pocessed with the power which later came to believe that it had something to do with their mating being a blessing from the Gods, but he forbidded it be known to the pride and sheltered them even more. Taking care of them and not letting the light touch them except in the night to teach them how to navigate like he had done so many years ago. Serious in his disposition and scared for his daughters and son. Only one had not gotten the gift and that one, but he treated her just as if she did, scared that if one was treated differently, the pride would know and take them away. Though a great honor was bestowed on them, he didn't think it- as it would prevent him from seeing his beloved children.
