is it just me or are other people depressed I'm depressed about a lot of stuff... Mainly I could fail at what I am doing now and I feel hopeless... useless... ehh... its just life

maybe you sould talk to your parents about it.
They can take you to the doctors.
you can get medicine for it.

I think near to everyone has felt this way before...You could just be being too hard on yourself. Or maybe you have chronic depression, they have medicine for it (although I am alomst always against putting people on medication). Maybe try to focuss on all the good things you've done or you have. I hope you feel better soon

I say talk to your parents about it, or maybe even write to an advice column. I once wrote to a magazine about getting left out in things my friends did, and after I did that I seemed to be happier about things. It wasn't until about two months later when I actually GOT the response, buuttt...you know..it still made me happy to know that someone (besides mah parents) would know about this and tell me what to do about it.

ya, but this is just a question I have, what if you don't want to tell your parents? since you don't want to seem like a burden or something. But sometimes depression is just caused by hormones...

Yeah I don't live with my parents and I cant really tell my parents everything that bothers me they wouldn't understand...
Idk I did fail btw... sweatdrop and I am bummed about it I also have a lot going on in my marriage and I feel overwhelmed but I can't really get meds they cost $$ and I don't have money.
I just kind of feel quite alone most of the time and right now I am 350 miles away from my husband and with his parents... which is kind of bleh. I'm doing what I can to stay sane.
Sometimes your parents really can't help either but as long as you have a decent Guidance councilor you can talk to them I know I did quite a bit when i was in 6th grade because I moved to a new school and was picked on by the kids frequently... Sooner or later I just bottled up the hurt and became unresponsive most of the time.
I'm just always one to react in tears its just how I respond to most things... Maybe I'm really wierd but I cant help it.

if your weird then I must be a freak, since I'm the type to fake a smile everyday, heck I don't know if half the time this is me. I even hurt myself now, but back then in second grade I was bullied by everyone. No one was there to help me, I told the teachers but no, they never believed me not even my parents did...

Cheshires Faded Smile if your weird then I must be a freak, since I'm the type to fake a smile everyday, heck I don't know if half the time this is me. I even hurt myself now, but back then in second grade I was bullied by everyone. No one was there to help me, I told the teachers but no, they never believed me not even my parents did... Yeah that isn't nice when no one believes you but I was bullied too in 1st grade because i had guts enough to kiss the boy I liked... so I was forever on known as cootie girl along with being molested by a female class member in second grade which I wasn't the only one but when I tried to seek out the others who had experienced the same thing they all kind of hid away because they didn't want to be outcasted. School in general is a hard place to be, even harder when you have no one to confide in... At least there are people online who listen they can't hug us or tell us in person that it will be ok but they are there to listen when they can.

well it has sort of its just the phase of life im in basically i'm in limbo waiting to see if I will ever get my degree, If I will get a job with that degree, If we will ever be able to replace my car that is going down hill, if we will ever get our own house and move out of this rental...
For now a lot of that stuff is up in the air and it bothers me that I can't do anything about it really...
