The Rider, P'zul

Name razz 'zul (formerly Pazzult)
Age:24 *birthday 7/17 ro keep track* (aged 9/15/14 2 turns)
Sexual Orientation:Bi-sexual
Craft/Rank:Wing Rider

History: Born to Phuil and Belusta of Arcon Hold, Pazzult is the 2nd of 3 children. He has an older brother, Omess and a younger sister, Arili. Both of his parents are weavers and their families before them. If fact, the whole family for as long as they have kept histories have pretty much been either weavers, tailors, tanners or anything to deal with clothing and putting clothes on people. You think that this would cause a youthful boy to want to go out and expand his horizons? Wrong! Pazzult loves clothes just as much as the next person in his family. At a young age, he was allowed to start sewing little patterns in scraps of clothe and draw up simple designs. As he got older, he would help his parents with their looms, taking orders, designing and whatever else was needed.

At the age of 12, he was sent to the Weaver Hall to have proper training when it came to measurements, types of patterns and what little his family couldn't teach him. After three years there, he was sent back and couldn't have been happier. His life had found its little rhythm and niche when one day a dragon rider came to order clothes for an upcoming gather. That is when blue Degth looked him over and decided he would be good to stand on the sands. The rider, S'mun, agreed and asked permission to take Pazzult and the rest is history.

After standing for a clutch and failing to Impress, Pazzult simply took it as not his time. This did not discourage him nor did he decide to leave. Instead, he stuck around, made more friends, thought about becoming a Weaver for the Weyr and then stood again. This time around, lovely Nnith decided that Pazzult was for her and he become P'zul.

Description:6'0"; 185lbs., Pazzult has a medium albeit a somewhat stocky build, not overly muscular but in shape due to his duties. He may even be considered big boned. His skin tone is light tan, almost the color of very light coffee and stays that way; he does not burn nor does he really darken unless outside for long periods of time. His eyes are a rather plain brown and he has black hair. It goes to his shoulders and is very curly at the ends which used to cause him to be teased when he was younger. He generally has it pulled back in a short ponytail. Pazzult likes to wear all shades of blue and green, thinking they look best. As a weaver and designer, he likes to wear clothing he or his family members have made unless otherwise required.

Personality razz azzult is quite happy to let others do the thinking for him. It is not that he doesn't know how to solve problems or want to work hard but he would rather let someone else do the worrying. Not to say that he is lazy; on the contrary he enjoys physical work as well as weaving designs. Pazzult would just prefer to keep his thoughts as clear as possible so he can focus on whatever the task at hand is or what detail he has to finish. Other people should leave him alone until he has completed whatever he has been asked to do because he might appear standoffish or cold.

However, once the job is done, this weaver boy is a different person. He is open and friendly, willing to lend a hand or a shoulder if you need something done. And there in lies one of his problems. If you are another man, you better hold up your end of the task. If you are a woman, especially one smaller than him, you would have Pazzult eating right out of your hands. He sees women, though his mother, aunts, cousins, and etc are all hard workers, as people who should be protected a looked after. This is his father's doing, the sort of chivalrous attitude as he was raised with a strong since of family and value. Of course, he still is a teenager and as such prone to bouts of moodiness, mooning over girls, trying to deal with hair in places there wasn't hair before and all the usual growing pains. He can be short tempered when something goes against what he believes in and he may not want to see the other side of the story but he won't start a physical fight over it.

Virtues: Helpful, hard-worker, honest and friendly, protective
Flaws: Somewhat narrow-minded, easier manipulated by women, prefers not to be a leader/thinker, moody teen

Other: As Pazzult comes from a long line of folk in the weaver/tanning craft, he knows his craft inside and out. Any mending, washing, dyeing that would need to be done-he would be your person to do it. He also works well with children and has patience for their silliness and games. He doesn't realize it yet but the fact that he is looking at other boys to see if he sizes up is actually the beginnings of taking an interest in boys as well as enjoying girls.

Quote:

Name: Nnith
Color: Green
Ecosystem: Prairie
Personality:
Green Nnith is a dragon who enjoys the finer things in life. Wine, women... men. … Well, okay, maybe none of the above, but she believes in indulgence as a general principle. She’s a mellow, easy-going lady with an eye for quality in her food and company. There is little in life that upsets Nnith, and she generally responds to problems by avoiding them. Is that tunnelsnake really worth bothering over? … Maybe if she leaves it alone, it will go away. When so and so is upset, Nnith tends toward the same approach, choosing to avoid an argument rather than tangle with them head to head.

She’s generally a very pleasant creature, with a sunny disposition, and plenty of cheer. It’s share and share alike, as far as this Green is concerned! She may have the best wherry in the flock, or maybe a few more than she can handle, but she’s perfectly happy to let someone else share in the bounty. She doesn’t necessarily like sharing, precisely, but she considers it to be dreadfully rude not to, and she’s discovered that giving tends to become getting, in the long run. Nnith has learned that politeness in general will keep her safely out of most conflicts, so she does her best to be courteous.

Turn some of that generosity back on Nnith and you will have a best friend for life. She’s not the fastest flyer, nor the brightest glow in the basket, but she gets by. Who needs all of that when they can kick back, relax, and enjoy life a little? It is hard to get Nnith going, and a certain amount of determination may be required, assuming her rider doesn’t enjoy having a slothful dragon. Still, she’s a friendly creature, with plenty of love to spare for the right rider to be.

Why Me!?

Pazzult has the drive, the attention, and the desire to create and provide high quality items and it is, at least in part, this intuitive reach for perfection that attracts Nnith. She really does love the fine things in life and Pazzult can certainly provide that! It's just as well, however, that they're both polite since having all the good stuff to your self would get pretty lonely wouldn't it?

They're also both in agreement when it comes to conflict - neither particularly likes arguments and Nnith will be quite fine in focusing on things other then the troublesome tunnelsnake someone else is sure to take of. Especially if she's shared with them and befriended them; that's what friends do right?

Her enjoyment of all sorts of company will also help Pazzult find his own path. She'll be welcoming and understanding and most importantly encouraging to him as he develops his own sense of self and explores his sexuality. She's also more then likely to encourage him to continue his weavercraft since Masters are the ones that produce the best goods, right? Wouldn't it be something fine if hers was a Master too!
