This cavern is clearly inhabited - tiny claw marks mar the mossy floors and walls, and you can hear the sound of wyverns from inside. The air is warm, moist, and inviting, almost as though the cave wants you to come in and take a nap on the comfy moss bedding.

Celest was the first member of the Mosswing Flight. Found by Swirl out on the plains, Celest had been lost from his birth-flight for sometime. He had been sent out to gather food, and, unable to find his way back, flew until he grew tired on the plains. Swirl drug him back to the cavern, which was mercifully near, and nursed him back to health. Unfortunately, Celest does not know where his original flight is - when he returned to their cavern, he found it abandoned.

He then stayed with Swirl, half out of gratitude and half out of fear of being alone again. Unlike his leader, who prefers her alone time, Celest is desperately needy and refuses to fly, sleep or eat solo. If placed in a situation where he is forced to be alone, he cries and crawls around hopelessly until another wyvern comes and rescues him.

Relationships

Celest...
...clings to Sunscar desperately. More so than everyone else. The red wyvern's calmness rubs off on Celest when they're together, offering him a reprieve from his constant anxiety.
...thinks of Lin as his sister, even though she's more like his mother. They get on each others nerves because of their conflicting personalities, but they've grown close over time.
...thanks Swirl with all of his heart for saving him from being alone. For that he owes her everything his puny, terrified little body and mind can offer.

Originating from the Sand Wastes, Sunscar was originally part of another small flight. Then, during a particularly long migration to a new den, the flight rested on the sands. Sunscar recognized the dangers of the area and warned them against it, but they ignored him and was subsequently devoured by a Pit Gore. In the meantime, the now lone wyvern flew ahead, without direction and starving. Slowly the sands turned to parched soil, and then to grass and then to shrub lands. Never before had he seen land like this. Where were the dunes? Where were the lizards and the beetles he had always eaten so sparingly? Lost in this strange new world, Sunscar was hunted down by Lin and Celest, who invited him back to their cave. He only intended to stay for a few days to recuperate his strength, and well...it's been quite awhile now, and its unlikely he'll be leaving anytime soon.

After the death of his flight, Sunscar was racked with pain and emotion, but as time passed he became as dead as the scorched sands. He retains his former politeness and knowledge, but he distances himself from his fellow wyverns, preferring not to talk about himself or other wyverns. Because of this, he is a great confidant and second-in-command.
