The hot water was doing a piss poor job of washing away the scandal he was quite sure had been tattooed into every square inch of him. He was never going hear the end of it if anyone learned. That made it about 100 times more important that no one would ever learn... hence the rant he was directing at the door to the rest of the room.
He knew his partner in crime well enough that he could just imagine the cheshire 'derpy' grin plastered all over his cocky face as he scrubbed again turning his skin bright pink.
"YOU TELL ANYONE AND I SWEAR TO GOD AND THE QUEEN THAT I WILL FIND YOU AND SMOTHER YOU IN YOUR SLEEP" he yelled at the door through the curls of steam.
"ANYONE!!! YOU HEAR ME!!" He paused and cursed at a sore spot on his neck he was quite sure was a hickey. In a sane world...he decided, the sky was falling, because this NEVER happened.

"Quit hogging all the hot water! I want some tooooo, though you could have just let me in there with you! But noooo, can't share some water with your partner, not like we haven't shared EVERYTHING ELSE."
Oh he was grinning away alright. A grin somewhere between s**t-eating and a derpy sort of content. The blonde was currently sprawled across the bed upside down, head hanging off the edge and staring over at the door the other was ranting behind.
Waiting.
He never replied whether or not he'd keep the secret. Not -yet- at least.

"SHUT...UP!!!Shutup shutup shut up shut UP!! OH GOD!!!"
Came the wail from the shower as Zac thumped his head against the shower wall. "YOU SAY THAT AGAIN and I won't come out till I'm a PRUNE...IF THEN!!!"
Followed by an series of snarling grumbles that would have done a Tasmanian devil proud and was roughly as clear in its articulations. Something about turtlenecks and long sleeves for the rest of his life was the most that could be made out.
Finally though the water shut off and you could hear the curtain being roughly yanked back, and at least one of the rings snap loose followed by stomping and more cursing.
"YOU BETTER PROMISE!!!" He yelled his nose almost pressed to the door.
"NOW!!" he paused toweling off and then leaned toward it again to yell "PROMISE ON OREO....AND YOUR FISH..." another long pause as he scrubbed his hair.
"... I'll CUT IT OFF I SWEAR I WILL!!"

"Zeeee....."
The sad little voice came from just the other side of the door. Demy had apparently gotten up and crossed the room somewhere in the middle of all of Zac's ranting and raving.
"Are...you saying I was...bad?"
He sniffled for added effect. Damnit, he certainly hoped he wasn't! Besides the fact it'd be embarrassing as hell he wanted to be his very best for his partner.
Always.
"Promise, on Oreo and Raver, Crack, Acid, Glowstick, Bob, Pixie Stix and Taco."
Damn he had a lot of friggin fish.
"If you don't want me to tell anyone I won't...now come out? Pleaseeeeee Zee?....."

The door opened, Zac in his pants and fumbling with his shirt, all of which had come into the shower room with him despite the humidity.
"We are not... TALKING about that... EVER..." He said his cheeks bright red with more than just the 'enthusiasm' with which he had showered "OK?"
Zac was, well and truly, a prude, even now.
"OK!? You don't... Puppy eye at me we're not -talking- about it... ok!?"
He dragged the shirt over his head and fingered the collar trying to cover up the purple mark on his neck.
"YOU GAVE ME A..." He started to stay and then seemed to choke on the word and just pointed at his neck furiously.

The blonde was in his boxers, and giving him the puppy dog stare even now. Zee was acting so furious the poor kid couldn't figure out if he had done something good or not. Damnit, why was this all so confusing?!
"Kay..."
Demy moved away, looking rather distraught. The last thing he had wanted to do was piss Zee off and strain the relationship even further. Wasn't it bad enough he had dropped out of school without telling him? ******** moved back soon enough, carrying a scarf with him. It wasn't the brightest of his scarves but it was still decidedly Demy. The blonde lifted it and gently tied it around Zee's neck.
"If we can't talk about it, you can't yell at me about that either..."
At least now it was covered up.

Zink stood very still, and very bright in the cheeks as Demy carefully put the scarf around his neck.
".....fine...." he said glancing away his cheeks feeling hot enough to cook on.
"And I don't think that it -really- requires any particular articulations on my part to tell you how it 'was'."
He folded his arms declining to say more, or to elaborate on what 'it' was that they had 'done'.
Heaven only knew the hickey alone was more than enough to set Zac off on a tirade on the dangers of impropriety.

"It'd still be nice, but kay Zee..."
Demy, being the touchy feely thing he was, wrapped the other boy in a hug and laid his head on top of Zac's. At least he wasn't smothering him in another kiss?
"I miss you man."
He squeezed a bit, wishing he could pull Zac out of Hillworth too and never have to give this moment up.
"So much. Still mad at me?..."

"YES... no... MAYBE... Just...shup up..." He flustered and shockingly leaned into the hug for a moment and sighed. "Just... go shower...you can work out if it was 'nice' while you were in there.... damnit my cheeks are still hot... I blame YOU..." He informed him bluntly. "...why aren't YOU blushing? Why am I the only one blushing here?"

"Alright alright!"
The taller boy laughed and released Zee from the hug. It didn't take him too long to gather up his clothes and move back towards the shower door.
"Maybe you're the only one blushing because -you're- the only silly one here."
Ah but that was a lie. If Zac looked closely enough he could see a blush slowly working it's way across Demy's face. He didn't get too long to look though.
"Be out soon. Don't uh...leave while I'm in here. Please?"
With that he shut the door and headed into the shower. The next noise heard from him was a loud YELP as the water started.
Apparently Zac had used what little hot water the hotel provided to it's rooms.

"Leaving would be RUDE... and I am NOT being silly!" He added emphatically and flopped down on the edge of the bed and stuffed his socks on his feet only to pause with an amused chuckle at the yelp from the shower.
"Satisfactory..." he said to no one in particular with a small grin.
He got his sneakers on and then his hoodie, stretching to try and cure the odd stiffnesses that had sunk in to little avail. Small aches and pains would be with him for a while he suspected though it wasn't like he could just -ask- about that kind of thing.

It wasn't too terribly long before the door to the bathroom flung back open. With the water at a temperature of <******** cold Demy wasn't too willing to spend a lot of time in there. Even despite pulling on all his clothes, it was a wide-eyed cold blonde that met Zac's ******** had wrapped his arms around himself, trying to hug some warmth back into his body. It wasn't working, not with the way he was shivering and teeth chattering as he stood there. The blush was long gone too.

Zink sagged slightly at the sight of him shivering. "It can't have been -THAT- bad." he protested
"... We are not having a 'round two' to warm you up!" he added suspicious.
He stared for a long moment.
"I will concede buying you a hot meal though since I don't know if your LIEUTENANT feeds you."
Apparently despite the fact he had no personal grudge against Paragonite he wasn't thrilled that Schee was staying with her still.
Jealous?...

"Dude it's like bathing in icecubes. It's cold!"
Demy whined in protest. No ulterior motives! ...Though a hug would have been nice. A nice, warm, hug.
At the mention of Para not feeding him he just had to laugh.
"Heather feeds me, promise. But I'd love to go grab something to eat with you. Whatever you want! And Zee..."
The blonde moved closer, grinning down at the other boy.
"Nobody can replace you in my heart. I swear."

"Your grinning again!" Zac flushed bright red... surely people would read EVERYTHING into that grin.. they would KNOW.
Yes he was over reacting more than a little in his head. "Jeusus..." he mumbled. "Like I was worried about that..." He huffed though he did seem a LITTLE less bristly. as he rubbed his hands vigorously against Dem's arms. "God..."
He turned bright red again, it was so vigorous it ran strait down his neck too.
"Ok... lets... Let's go get you hot-coco... or hot tacos or...whatever." He shuffled back and forth on his feet and stared at the walls like he expected Merope to smash through one at any moment to pass judgement.
"Yep...let's go..." He repeated.
