I'm MTF, and consider myself straight (attracted to men).. however I don't fully understand the implications of my attraction to naked anime girls. I find I can stare at them all day, but not naked anime guys. I'm sure it's more of a feeling of jealousy that makes me attracted to the female figure, but I don't know if I have some actual physical desire for them. I really love the look of small breasts, clothed or unclothed. They're just so beautiful.
Anybody else have a similar situation?

I guess that's fair to say. I've always thought that I wouldn't be opposed to dating a girl if the right one came along.. but I just couldn't make heads or tails of my aesthetic attraction to certain female figures.

I find real men completely unattractive but I sometimes like feminine men in anime. I suppose that's somewhat similar.
Anyway, I've read that it's pretty common for transwomen to have some same-gender attraction just confusion about their desire to be like the women they see. Sometimes transwomen feel it so strongly that they identify as lesbians during their transition, but when they complete their surgery and finally feel truly female themselves they end up identifying as straight.

My guess is with anime characters, they are meant to be physically please and symmetric (eyes perfectly lined up, etc...), a.k.a eye candy. Sex sells, so they purposely make anime girls and boys sexy as possible. Many straight girls find them appealing.
Many you admire them and find yourself wanting to be more like them. It's a possibility, though not physically possible or healthy to actually be as skinny as many of those girls or have a body like theirs, same with Barbie dolls.
I find some of the girls sexy, cute or beautiful though I tend to prefer bishonen and effeminate males the most. Something about those gorgeous faces. I don't know if that would have anything to do with my sexuality, but I find some women in real life beautiful as well. Maybe it is an physical attraction or maybe I just admire them.

In my opinion, I think that you could identify as pansexual meaning that you don't see gender when you are looking at attractiveness but rather personailty and a list of qualities that you find desirable. Does that make sense?
