Luce walked into her shop and yawned. She was extremely tired from making two sword hilts, 1 mandolin, and buying three new book. She called for Nala-who had followed her here- to her.
"Ah Nala, I wonder if we will make some good money today...the taxes are getting quite high." She murmured to her beloved feline. The cat purred and walked to her usual spot by the entrance to the shop. Luce laughed and tied her hair back and adjusted her dress.....it wasn't the most amazing dress, just a bit of cheap clothe sown together. She laid out enough merchandise where the people could see them and hoped that would draw them into her shop.

Luce blew a few wood curlings off the wood and looked up. "Oh yes! What do you need?" She asked smiling and moving a loose strand of hair back.

Luce's eyebrow raised. "No...theres more in the back...but it would be helpful if you told me what you were looking for....I mean if it's not to private."She said walking towards a creaky door which concealed a large alcove with books lining the walls and stacked up all over the floor.

Luce thought for a moment and walked into the alcove and over to a dusty corner, pulling out several books. "Let's see here.....well....here's the best one." She turned around and showed to old book to the man. "Roman gods and goddesses from alpha to omega. ....very intriguing and will give you everything you need to know about any god you wish to learn about." She said, letting out a sneeze and a few coughs from the dust. She cleared her throat and handed the book to the man. "Go ahead and look through it."

*opens the book but only looks at the first page* heres the thing, i carnt read latin, so that why i came here instead of going to the libary, so have you got any foreign books about gods *closes the book and puts it on the counter*

"Why didn't you say so...." Luce said looking around for more books. "Hmm....well heres one that's in a foreign language...but I can't read it....it looks like its about gods...." She said, frowning a bit at her lack of languages. "Sorry about causing you any trouble." She added.

ha sorry its just a little embrassing, *rubs knuckle* being able to read but not latin and in rome of all places, normaly i guess it wouldnt be a problem but with this war with persia, people get suspicious

Luce nodded. "I understand how you feel, having all these books and reading only some of the bigger titles." She blew back a blond curl from her face. "I also wish people would keep their probing minds to themselves." She said looking a window and to a couple of older citizens.

*scraches under eye* its a double edged sword, accusing people that is, i mean what if their really spies for the enemy then its good to point em out, right?
