Do you love yours or hate them? I love the one I currently have. She respects us tremendosly which is how you get the best out of the actors. She doesnt let us run wild though, which is good. She keeps us grounded.

The director at our school is a very good director, and what's even better is he's one of the few teachers at my school who actually respects the students. That makes rehearsal a...less stressful experience.

Depending on the day, our director is a great guy. He's the director, lighting designer and technical director, so he usually has a lot on his plate.

Depends. I do high school and community theater, so I know a variety of directors. Our high school director is among my favorites, mostly because she's my drama teacher too and I've known her for about four or five years. But, when it comes to community theater ones, I'm half and half. I love Vera, Becky, and Joann, all nice and diservse with their casting and all that jazz, but then we have people like Lanny, who casts Mary Jo and Scott in every lead and doesn't ever do anything original. He'll watch a movie or go see a play, take some notes, and make us do the same thing.
