(( PRP (and AIM log) for Samandiriel, Darkmoon Dancer, and Kai, _-Cheeky_Chobit-_ ))

Being a curious foal, Samandiriel had been pondering the same encounter for many days now. He had come on a visit up to the valley of Eden with his parents and it had been a wonderful experience thus far. He was told that he would only be here for another day or so before heading back down to the fields that his parents lived in, so it was finally time to make his move. Having sneaked away from his mother's snuggle, the blue foal crept towards the place he had last seen the ghostly stallion. Head low, hooves touching down softly, Dir looked left and right before breaking into a light trot. Keeping his wings tucked in as close as possible, and avoiding any rocks along the way, he soon made it to the very place. Stopping to raise his head and scan the area, his dark eyes shone in the night's faint light. Where was that elusive stallion he had seen so many times before? Squinting, Dir carefully searched for the glimmer that he had come to recognize Kai by. He wanted so badly to finally meet him, but finding him was definitely the first step.

Night was definitely the stallions complimentary time of the daily cycle, he had been wandering through the sacred woods that protected the plains of Eden, eyes dancing across the moonlit surface of the waterfall where the agreement between Rosie and he had been made. A soft snort left his nostrils, ears flickering at the faintest sounds of beating across the terrain. It's hum a mere tremble under his own thicker hooves. He turned his head slowly to see the faintest array of pastel hues and flutter wings. Ah, it was one of the foals that had been born of Rosie's sister. What was the boy doing here? He wondered keeping his eyes upon him in study.

Dir spent a minute or two screening his surroundings before he could finally see a small cloud of breath off a little ways away from him. When he peered a little harder he could make out the tall outline of the very stallion he was searching for. Perking his ears up he broke into an easy trot, almost bouncing along as he made his was closer. Now that he had spotted the stallion, he could make him out no problem, it had just been finding him in the first place that proved difficult! A small snort caused his own white cloud of breath appear before his nose when he drew to a stop a few paces away from Kai. Tilting his head back, he looked up at the starry, translucent body before him, a look of awe crossing his features and keeping him from making any sort of introduction. He could only stare at the beauty of the soquili that looked so much like the starry sky above.

The foal had quite confidently made his way towards him with little effort until he drew nearer. He raised his dark eyebrow as no words came from the tiny colts mouth, only his eyes took to him like glue causing Kai to fumble a one sided frown across his maw. Feeling like some form of display piece for the child. Why did he attract this kind of attention? He didn't even try to.. He lowered his head until it was close enough to the foals, muttering a quiet "Boo." At him, an amused smirk sprawled across his lips replacing the earlier frown. This might not prove to be so bad after all.

As the stallion moved, it looked like the entire sky moved with him - even though it had merely been his star-lined body moving. The foal had a huge imagination. What broke him out of his trance was the nearing head and the quiet mutter of a single word, meant to scare him. And though it might have scared another, less confident foal, he reacted instantly... with a pounce into a play-bow. Head lowered, but eyes trained on Kai and shining, the foal's rump was up in the air with his fluffy little tail swishing back and forth with excitement. He had seen playful wolves and coyotes do this very same action, so in response to the stallion's single word, Dir threw out his own, softly, but with a grin on his lips, "Woof!"

His eyes widened, more and more as the foal got in to stance, rump in the air and his final calling, a 'woof' of which was what came from a most certainly different animal. The thought that maybe he had been spending too much time with Evan or encountered the pack would of been a more liable excuse, but no - the boy wanted to... Play? He hung his head lower, then withdrew a few steps back staring down at him. He was as crazy as Rosie. The pair of them, a couple of crazy-a** kids. Ears falling back, he wondered what he should do, having not spent much time around foals this was too unbelievably new and something with need get used to. "Hmm... Woof?"

The stallion seemed.... confused. Dir stood up once more, tilted his head to one side, his growing mane flopping over onto that half of his face as his ears stood upright, focused on the stallion. "Yes! Well... Weren't we just making funny sounds?" His tone also confused, Dir's brow furrowed a little. He had started the game... but didn't know how to play? Dir found that very confusing. But instead of clearing it up any further, he just stood there, studying the stallion and trying to figure out why he would have started a game he didn't know how to play!

"I don't remember making any funny sounds kid, just 'boo'" He tilted his head. This kid was strange, did he take after his mother or his father mostly? Who knew... Instead to distract the younger one, he made his way towards the small lake that the waterfall dropped and toppled in to, his ghostly mane and tail swayed in the nightly breeze, almost like a phantom. With a stretch of a look from the corner of his eyes, back over the kid, he raised his hoof dipped it in the water and flicked it back quickly, to splash him with a small parade of droplets. More like a wake up call, but kids loved to play in the water... Right?

"Oh... well 'boo' is a sound..." He muttered quietly, but left it at that. He supposed it was more of a word than a sound. A small shrug, and he hurried to keep up with the stallion. His mane and tail seemed to flow in the breeze, almost like shallow water picked it's way over rocks in streams. But he was distracted from his observation by a sudden spray of water. A surprised little, "Oh!" followed by a wicked grin that sent the foal running towards the water. He reared up at the edge, whinnying mightily before he let his small hooves come crashing down on the water's surface. It mostly just managed to spray Dir's underside, but he got a few big droplets to go flying in other directions too! He wasn't very big, but he could make a decently sized splash... even if most of it did ended up soaking him.

"Not bad, kid." Kai's lips turned up very lightly at their sides as he watched Sam have fun and force his hooves down in to the water causing it to flee in every which way direction, even on his pastel coat. His own starry coat now damp. It reminded him of his moonlit dance where he had tossed himself up and back down, springing around his mate like a bird would. He never minded the water, he actually liked to be in it most of the time. He pushed further in to it and waded through it's contents slowly, calmly before taking a dive in to the deeper end, causing a bigger splash. It looked like a rain of moonlit sparkles falling down across the small lake as he turned his head to eye the foal.

Beaming, Dir straightened up and puffed out his chest at the compliment. Sure, he was soaked, but who cared? The night was nice, and he liked the water even though it made his wings too heavy to fly.

He watched the stallion as he waded further, contemplating whether he should do the same when a wave of water hit him, cresting against his chest, sending even more droplets into the air. As he watched, it seemed to be in slow-motion.
The orblets traveled in gentle arcs, first up and then right back down from the dark sky to the reflecting surface of the water where they all became part of the same body, all part of the same water. Together.

He stared, mouth slightly agape, at this orchestrated dance of the water, as if only seeing it for the first time. Of course he had seen water spray before, but he had not yet looked at it quite like this. It seemed so different, so majestic, so beautiful. It only upped his respect and liking of water.

Observing the foal at the water's edge, with his mouth dropped wide open in awe, caught him on the fact that he was simply doing nothing but staring at the shower of water he had forced in to the air. The night sky printed stallion let out a divine sound;genuine laughter. There was no other time that he could remember the innocence Sam had displayed had been so illustrated, enticed further by the depth's of a child's curiosity. It burned through the atmosphere as if on a mission to infect those around it, including Kai.

He turned his shining orbs to the surface of the water, watching as it danced with the multiple drops of liquid returning back to their body. His reflection crippled by the many ripples disrupting it. Kids weren't so bad, he thought with a snicker, finally turning his head back to trace the foal which was no doubt still admiring the beauty of nature and the surreal way that water could be manipulated.

"Are you just going to stand there all day, gawking?"
Kai grunted, ears flickering gently as a smirk curled across his dark lips. "Or are you going to attempt to beat that."
