The days had passed by.. and the young lioness.. had not moved. She stayed in one spot... Laid under a bush.. Her rocky terrain she was so used to- she had to run from. Far. Far away. Tattered by her sister at her back and a mistress that was very unforgiving of her running away. The only friend she really had. Now.. a young hybrid was at her aid.. She had ran in to her a day ago.. and she went away. Probably to get some kind of food or healing equipment since Zhen was about as bloody and scared as her father had become.
Just like her father.. and the mother she tried to please. The kindest yet most strict parent she would ever know. Picking between disappointing them and running- she chose to run. Let herself be presumed dead by them than disappoint them. From her pride.. she had run four days straight. Having to fight off or run away from the occasional hyena and beasts. And when Fiv found her.. she was in the worst of conditions. Hardly able to breath nor walk straight from the loss of blood and no food. She fed her that day and ate as she never ate before. Taring it apart like some rabid beast.
Now.. She was waiting for her to come back.. that beautiful, angelic beauty to come back. That kind feline.. she had never felt that kind of kindness before. Not by the occasional yelling, scolding and the such. Her father though.. the strong one she had grown to adore like her mother. He believed in her. But deep down in thoughs eyes... she felt sadness.. why did she have to be pale? Was it a trial? She could see father like a ghost in the distance.. and him disappearing without a trace.
Delusional. As blood seeped out of her wounds.. and the patches that Fiv put on her had damped with blood again. But Zhen didn't move.. and she found it hard to talk at all.. throughout her experience with the hyrbid- she only talked very few times.. and after lying down in the soft dirt under the bush. Away from predators for the moment. She didn't plan on moving.

Aeli was going to be brave. Like mommy, like the lion who had saved him that time in the brook. He wanted to be. But it was just so...so...so hard! Everything was scary, it was a very scary world. His steps were quiet, his form still small for all he seemed to be leaning towards inheriting his father's bulk rather than his mother's slight size. He was young still, young enough that it didn't show much. But it was beginning to. Just around the edges of his young form.
His mane was coming in too, a white fluffy bit that was sneaking slowly down towards his shoulderblades. Maybe he was growing up, though it might only be a physical change. He still fit under mommy's legs after all...
The young lion froze abruptly, his nose twitching. What was that? It smelled like...blood? Was someone there? "H...hello?" he squeaked, looking anxiously about himself. There was a bush or two, and a rock, and a clump of grass tall enough to hide a something...maybe...

When the grass rustled and waved. Her ears pricked up and weaved in to the air as if homing in. Leaning her head the other way to get a glimpse of the outside. Thoughs orange eyes.. Glazed slightly.. Watching the paws touch the ground. She didn't moved other than the occasional breath.. She didn't want to neither did she have a reason to. When she laid blankly watched...
Blood seeping and she looked at it. Reaching like hands against the grass... she wasn't scared. No. Death would have been better than shame and how she was living now. Dead to her family and just blankly living as if a blink of an eye she would be gone. It could be a hyena.. or a wilddog looking to grab a few bites of the sweet scent of blood.
Awaiting..to see what would finish her off. But not without a fight. The only thing she could leave behind is the fierce memory of taring apart one other being before she goes.. If anyone knew her. They'd know that the inner workings of Zhen worked like a timed bomb.

It was blood! Oh dear! What was he supposed to do? What should he do? Go get help? But what if help was too slow?
"Mommieeeeeeeeeeee!" he mewled anyway, the cub-like cry still coming so easily to his lips. There. Alerting an adult taken care of, in theory, Aeli crept meekly towards the bloodscent. He was not a good tracker or hunter, but he was an okay fisher. Mommy said so. But fish did not live in the tall grass. Snakes and rats and...scarythings lived in tall grass. Uttering a tiny 'eep' of fear, the cub moved slowly and timidly forward anyway.
He wanted to be a hero! He had to start somewhere! "Hello? Is...is someone there?" And he would pretend his voice didn't squeak with fear while he was trying to be brave and heroic.

Her paw twitched.. Right in front of her. "Fiyv...........'foah..?" She called out. Then coughed up just a twinkle of blood. She shifted her head. If she had called out to the green pelted one she would have been there by now and not- the sound of the squeal almost made her jump if she had been on all fours. She just closed her eyes at the sound.. Great. A cub finding her almost dead. A normal cub- unlike demon cubs whom see this sorta blood every day. She closed her eyes tight only to hear a male's voice. NOTHING like her brother's- and a much kinder version...
Not a demon thats for sure. With the most amount of strength she had.. she pushed herself even deeper in to the bush.. She was beat up pretty bad and just that would scare anyone away. "Go away- don't look..Just go back from where you came!" She wheezed some and tried to best to talk but that was an entirely strain to her voice. Coughing and then covering her face. Her hair was a mess, or what she thought. Fiyv'foah had cleaned her up before leaving.. she was a kind being and someone she marveled out when she had regained consciousness. Weak. She tried to growl- but it came out as a meek squeaking sound and she gave up entirely. Laying down again and trying to hide but the blood had already made a pool. Her fur stained.
"Don't look!" She swiped a paw at the bushes.. in front of her only to try and spook them away. It was degrading. This state of being.

Eeep, the bushes were moving, moving and growling, and, and, and!
"B-but...but if you're hurt m-maybe I can h-help?" Aeli squeaked, though he kind of did want to leave. If the voice was snarling at him to go, maybe listening would be a better idea than not? But what if whoever it was...was really really hurt? How could he just leave someone who needed help? What kind of person would abandon someone like that?
He startled when the bushes moved again, before flattening himself on his belly, his ears laid back in fear even as, gulping anxiously, he shut his eyes. "I'm n-not looking," he whimpered, then coughed and tried again. "I'm not looking. I shut my eyes. I just...I just wanna help..."
Did it sound as stupid to her as it did to him? He hoped not.

Her nostrils filled with blood as she pushed her head to the side and right in to the blood pool that was forming. Just probably a paw rounded length of blood. The bushes shook as she tried her best to move. With all her strength- pushing herself up was a task but she did it. The bushes scratching the open wounds and caused her to screech in pain. Throwing her head to the side. She was small but 'strong' for her age. Black ears lifted in to the air and took a heaving step forward.
But- once she stepped.. the vibration went through her bones and caused her to fall forward. "Stupid.." She said to herself but stayed down only because she entirely moved too much for her own good. Then she laid there. "What makes you- think- I-..." She huffed and then sucked in air as though out of breath. "Need help." Her voice sounded like a roughed up cute girl trying to talk mean. Pulling her paws inward and trying to push herself again- weakly.. and giggling as it she tried.

Aeli flinched at the screech of pain, his ears flat and quivering against his skull as he began to tremble with fear. It sounded scary, so scary, he didn't know what to do. But he knew something had to be done.
"B-because...you keep yelping and...and I can sm-sm-smell blood and...and... and if you need help then...then someone should...should help you!" he tried to explain, his tail giving a tiny flick of determination as he slowly inched forward. "I promise my eyes are closed. You...you can lean on me or...or I can go and fetch you something or...or whatever you need."
He couldn't just leave her, not if she was in this much pain and probably scared too!

She turned her face- soft. Gentle. was he worried about her? When did she become this way. She was shown kindness and he seemed to genuinely be really... Someone should help her? She was the whole reason why she left in the first place! But she didn't want to announce that to the world.. what her name was. Anything. Looking down and when he came closer- she looked up to him as she stood up. His eyes were closed- and he looked really funny doing so.
"Heh." She softened up for just a moment but she did feel weak.. and her head felt really really heavy. Hot and cold. Then she swayed while taking another step. "I don't feel well..." She let out in accident.. and swayed a bit and tried to get to him but stumbled and landed on him. Leaning on him heavily. The staining of blood on her face fur for landing face first in it. There were a series of cuts and open wounds. She been through hell- literately. Breath was very easily missed and she gasped for it quite often. "Sorry-" Moving so much was not a good idea and her 'savior' said to stay here too.
A step back as she tried to regain her footing and when she did. Her eyes were closed tight as to try and ignore the pain.. Then she coughed up a bit and curled her nails in to the earth. No would could understand- the pain was mental and physical. It ALL hurt.. and this was the first time she had talked to another so much yet she only spoke a few words. Not even to her savior did she talk so much. The flash back of the green pelted hybrid.. picking her up and taking her away from the place where she was used as a feast for other animals.

He couldn't really tell what was going on now. His ears flicked and twitched and then laid low in anxiety as he heard her start to speak, and then stumbling about. He was so tempted to open his eyes. But he had promised. He would not break a promise. And so they stayed firmly shut.
"Don't feel well?" Aeli repeated, his tail flicking back and forth as he fought to keep his promise and his eyes shut. "What's wrong? Don't be sorry," he tried nervously, wishing he knew what to do to help. He was useless with his eyes shut though!

Bones cracked as she turned and bobbled just a bit to look in to his face to see him with his eyes shut. A soft smile caressed her face, and out of no where- a laugh erupted out of her but it was so soft and tender when it came out. Her ears went forward and she laughed even more- only it became dry now and she stopped with a few coughs at the end.
"You still have your ....eyes open?" Almost amazement in her voice. "I guess... you can open them." She wobbled a little more as she turned around in a circled and flopped her butt down in front of him. Her head up high as blood ran down it. She didn't much notice as her body surely was decorated in the scars that showed the roughness of her life before. Just that she knew she had gashes that were now covered and stuffed with greenery.
Even sitting there felt like she was about to collapse on the floor. Even that was a sore spot- everywhere. Thoughs orange eyes fixated on the boy- which her vision wasn't all that now that blood was getting in to it. "What do- you want." Those soft laughs now disappearing, but now she was slightly softer but so trying not to show it. Where did he come from, now that she was up- questions started to flow in to her head.
