~Golden Oak Academy~
The home for the gifted, magical, or just plain whimsical! We are a school built for all children, whether they be abandoned, runaways, or magically, yes, magically, talented.
If you feel like you don't belong with the rest of the 'normal' world, it's probably because you don't! You belong here, at Golden Oak Academy! Everyone is understanding and kind here, the teachers work to help their pupils perfect, practice, and uncover any abilities that are out-of-the-ordinary.
I mean, come on. Have you ever noticed the words she thought, before they were spoken? Do you swear the flame danced in your palm? Did the birds do your bidding, did the puddle seem to be "tugged" towards you? And did no one believe you?
That is not the case here. The students may just feel like outcasts at first, but once you've began to spend time at our school, you'll feel like family!
To enroll, there is no quota. Our students' ages now range from six to eighteen, which is our eldest limit. There isn't, however, a drawn line for how young you may be, which is one reason why we are more of a family here at Golden Oak.
The students don't even need powers...We've had halflings, with blood from demons and angels, blood from wolves and vampires, even elven lineage. There are also full-blooded humans, and our faculty is here to help hone your urges for, blood, per se? But not just, for everyone has a weakness, and it's our job to help you grow, improve, and strengthen.
Our main goal will always be for you to belong, and our hopes are high in believing that you can grow to become part of Golden Oak's family.

A slight description of what our school looks like~
Our Front Grounds...
have a rather ornate gateway, with the driveway making a circle before the school's doors. There's an island of grass in the middle of that road, along with a board that shows the school's title and a pair of spiral topiaries.
Our Dormitories...
are two stories per building, of which there are two. Sorry children, but even we have the genders seperated wink . The dorms themselves are fitting to the students' personalities, since they are allowed to decorate them as they see fit. Four maximum to a dorm, though there's enough rooms for each to have their own.
Our Courtyards...
of them, there are many. in the middle of our buildings, which are generously spaced, there's the most beautiful of them. It's got benches and a stream, that trickles by an amazingly large golden-leafed Oak tree who's bark is rich mahoghany and streaked with moss.
There are smaller ones scattered around, to beautify and add class to the place. Like we need more class...
Our Training Areas...
are scattered as well, being in numerous, different terrains throughout the entire school's grounds. There are sandy knolls and ditches by the water, caverns and clearings for any type of magical training, or for just solitude.
Our Classrooms...
are spaced nicely, many per building of which there are five. There is also a field or so for regular and extreme (Or Maged*) games and sports. We allow our students free reign of the lunch hour and the school day starts at ten, ending at two-thirty. (Of course, we all know it's gaia and that'll never happen ^^ )
Our Arenas
Of COURSE! Only the most entertaining of them all...The students must, of course, set up a time for them and their rival(s) to battle it out in the large stadium-styled arenas. There is only to be one used at a time, but due to the students' powers themselves, we have many, many extras. Other students are more than allowed to view, but this is all a play, basically. No one. NO ONE is to be fatally wounded or killed.

Rosuto the Stray
Rosuto hated mornings. The dawn burned her demon eyes. She was spending time before classes in the courtyard. She sat alone at a bench by the stream. Rosuto was a song writer, poet.. She had started playing bass last year. The birds chirped as they glided across the light purple sky. The sunrise was indeed a fine thing. Even Rosuto thought so. She grabbed her song writing book from her bag. She wrote down words for what she saw and described her emotions in metaphors that only she understood. The birds can soar and sing while the grounded wolf howls and screams, the shadow cannot keep up to me anymore, soon it will fade away, fade into the crimson and black... Rosuto used a pen with red ink. It was a fancy pen, she had saved up to purchase a set of professional pens. Rosuto wrote in almost unreadable print. It's not like it mattered. No-one else ever needed to know what went on in her mind. "Now for a name..." Rosuto whispered to herself.

Kiki had been sleeping in a tree once again finding that she had fallen asleep outside. Rubbing her eyes as she looked around, though the normal passerby could not see her. Her arms reached for the sky as she stretched, leaping from the tree gracefully landing without a care or worry. As Kiki walked casually over the earth beneath her feet she came upon a girl who was writing something down on a piece of paper. Curious, she headed toward her without a sight or sound to be sensed, reading over her shoulder as she scribbled words down. When the other girl spoke, Kiki broke her chain of silence in hopes of helping her find a name for the caption she had written. "How about 'Temptation'?"

Rosuto the Stray
Rosuto looked up at Kiki. She was a bit surprised that someone had even bothered talking with her. She avoided eye contact and hid her face. "I guess that would be a good name." she murmured. Rosuto waited for the girl to walk away. Her heart beat quickly with anxiety.

 Kiki tilted her head to the side ever so slightly as the girl answered her. "You write really well." She complimented with a whole hearted smile as she gaze toward the girl. Kiki held her hands behind her back as she leaned on her heels rocking back and forth in anticipation for a reaction. Her social skills were very one sided, not being able to read people well at all for any reason.

Rosuto looked up at Kiki. She didn't get compliments that often. "Um...thanks," Rosuto toyed with her pencil. She had many nervous twitches. She was overwhelmed b it all. "I have to go..." Rosuto gathered her things and got up. She hurried along hoping Kiki would not follow her. She mentally kicked herself. I am the official freak...great.

Kiki looked at Rosuto with confused in her eyes. "Why?" She asked childishly standing there with a blank face. Without waiting for an answer she ran from the area, Kiki then unintentionally turned invisible and vanished from sight.

Rosuto the Stray
Rosuto looked back. Kiki was gone, so she relaxed. She would head to her first class. It was biology, a class Rosuto actually enjoyed. She only disliked having to have a table partner. She hugged her songbook close to her chest. I don't know if I can stand this much longer... Rosuto opened the door to the building. She was still very early. She just stood in the hallway quietly.

Kiki was still invisible as she rushed along the wide open courtyard grounds, unaware that she wasn't able to be seen with the naked eye. Accidentally she collided with another person, apologizing and heading off once more, leaving many bewildered people behind. Before she realized where she was going, Kiki found herself atop the roof and visible once more.

As a new student, Jenna took on her human form. She gazed around astonished by the campus. While walking through the courtyard, she bumped into something which she was confused about because she didn't see anyone. She heard someone apologize and then the voice faded. Jenna looked around curiously "Hmm.. that was odd. Is anybody else here?" she asked, feeling stupid that she was basically talking to no one, considering no one else was around her at the moment.

Kiki looked down at the girl she had bumped into earlier, noticing that she was a bit bewildered. Tilting her head to one side she gazed down at the girl and watched her for a second before cupping her hands next to her mouth. "Hey!! I'm up here!" She called down to the startled student, she began to levitate very slowly and in an extremely shaky fashion. "I had knocked into before." Kiki stated while landing awkwardly back on the ground with a clumsy footing.

O.o...Jenna watched the girl levitate down to the ground clumsily. She tilted her head "Oh.. Well hello " ^^ she replied, smiling. She was happy to meet someone new, even though it was in a different fashion then she normally would have.
