The arena goes dark and the fans turn to the Titantron, which displays a green-screen with the text "The following Superstar is rated XXX for strong language, gratuitous violence and pervasive sexual content. Viewer discretion is advised." The camera shows Daniel Cross, the Hollywood Hit Man, in his home gym working out. He sits in front of the camera, reality-TV confessional style, and an unseen crew member asks, "So, Daniel, why did you sign a contract with the WWF?"

"I'm 31 years old. I've won eight World Heavyweight Titles, trained a lot of young superstars and starred in a couple movies. You'd think I've done it all, right? Not even close. I never competed in a WWF ring. This is the big time. This is what it's about."

The scene changes to one of Daniel's training sessions with his niece Savannah Leonhart. She is applying the Crossout submission, a half-nelson crossface, as Daniel shouts out instructions. The next scene is Daniel on the set of Die Hard 5: Die Harder, in a fight scene with Bruce Willis.

"I always knew I was going to be back in a wrestling ring, and I knew it would be this one."

Scenes of Cross's eight title wins play, and the shot cuts to the mantle in Daniel's living room, featuring each of his eight championship belts mounted on the wall.

"Make no mistake about it; I'm coming to the WWF for number nine. And let me tell you, every night I go out there, I'm gonna give the fans a match they won't forget."

She Builds Quick Machines by Velvet Revolver plays as the screen cuts to a static graphic of Cross in the CKO pose, with the caption "Coming to a ring near you at the Royal Rumble!"
