-For a girl from Brazil the fall climate of Destiny City had been a strange new thing to get used to. Cool breezes, the leaves of the trees not only changing colors but falling off like a dog shedding, and of course the addition of pants and long sleeve shirts in her closet. But while the fall had seemed strange the first snowfall of winter, and the first Aitana had seen in her life, had appeared absolutely alien to her.
Wide green eyes had stared out of the large picture window at a world covered in a blanket of blinding white while she ate breakfast. She'd even crept outside to touch the shimmering substance curiously, startled by how cold it was on her bare feet and fingers.
She had to borrow most of the clothing she'd tugged on, having not been winter shopping with the Renkens yet. Aitana barely had her boots on as she shoved through the door and into the crisp cold air. She relished in each crunch of her boots in the snow, watching her footsteps as she wondered where she should start. Snowballs, snowmen, sledding, snow angels.. she wanted to do it ALL.-

Anthony Darrow was very much a fan of the snow. He bundled up, got ready for work, and the moment he peered out the window he forgot his age at home. He hurried outside to look around, building a small snowman on the stoop of his apartment complex before walking, cane in hand, very leisurely down the street.
He promptly 'got lost', or 'snowed in', or some other excuse he could use for being late, as he walked around and took in the sight of the city under a sheet of almost pristine snow. There were a lot of people doing the same thing he was: just enjoying the snow. They were out building things, having snowball fights, playing.
Someone nearer to his own age hit him with a snowball and he retaliated, but his aim was poor and he ended up hitting a young girl with green hair. He let out a surprised yelp, which probably should have been her job, and hurried over to her.
"I-I'm sorry! I was aiming... well, I guess I wasn't aiming very well at all. Ah! Are you okay?"
