I do like both, but first, I think I'd SLIGHTLY prefer Diru, and second, Malice Mizer broke up a while ago... unless you know that already

I like both, serioulsy. Dir en grey has more songs considering they are still together.
Malice Mizer (if you kids don't know it is pronounced Malice ...Meh-zay)
did loose it's drummer... by death.. but the band itself didn't break up when that did happen.. Gackt left, Kami died... and the band kept on going with Klaha... but I still liked both bands music. I am not going to choose

I like both. I was a fan of Malice Mizer before I became a Diru fan, but now I like Diru better. But you really can't compare the two... Malice Mizer definitely has a 'classical' edge to it where as Diru is more rock. They both have their good songs.

Malice Mizer was the first "J-Rock" group I ever loved...
But I'm sorry Mana-sama. When Gackt quit, and Kami died... it just kinda' fell apart. "Beast of Blood," "Gardenia," and "Shiroi Hada ni Kuruu Ai to Kanashimi no RONDO" were pretty good, BUT
DIRU KICKS a**.
