The nation of Vasadori was normal... WAS. People used to be worried about trivial issues, such as status, crops and bickering about things they didn't like about the king of the nation. That was before the Shadow Bearers came. No one quite knows their origins, but one day, these "men", so far as people could tell, donned in dark robes and armor, showed up. There were 6 of them, and they demanded an audiance with the King at the time, King Basaer, but the royal guards refused. In but a flash, the men had donned long, black swords, twisted and corrupt looking, and were storming through the castle. No matter how they tried, the guards could not stop the onslaught, and soon these... monsters were at the Throne Room. There sat the King, and his Queen, Elisanda, surrounded by The Elite Guard. The Ones in black spoke no words, but all, in singular motion, geastured with thir hands to the guards to lower their weapons. This demand was not met, and the guards and Quuen were slaughtered within moments, leaving the King dumbfounded. One of the One's in Black moved forwards, and spoke to the King, an eerie hiss to his words.
"Surrender..." It said slowly
"W...why?" was all the King could make out, before the One cut his throat.
Dark shadows began to flow from the Castle, corrupting and twisting it and anything they touched, until the entire kingdom was covered.
Dark monsters begain showing up everywhere, some just popped out of the shadows, others, the unlucky ones, were people or animals, so twisted by the corruption that they became ferocious monsters.
Since then, people who were not turned by the Shadows live in fear, but some decided to fight. To not just sit back and wait for death. They became known as the Liberators. Many bands of Liberators lay scattered across the land now, fighting for thier nation, hoping one day to uncover the secrets behind the Ones in Black, who became know as the Shadow Overlords, and to overthrow them once and for all....

1) As always, follow the Gaia rules and TOS
2) I am the leader of this RP, and though I love ideas and am not gonna run this thing like a freakin Nazi, I would very much appreciate it if you PM me any major plot changing ideas and such
3) Language; honestly don't care what your character says, but if its a really bad word (like crap, damn, etc I dont care about) then f***in sensor it (<---- see what I did there xP)
4) Romance; Again, don't care if yall get freaky, so long as you Time Skips or take it to the PMs, I don't wanna know who sticks what where for how many Jelly Beans... kay?
5) ABSOLUTLY NO godmodding or playing another person character, it's SUCH a pain in the a**!
6) No killing another players character unless they agree to it first.
7) JUST TO make sure you read these rules, I want you to PM me your profile. Title the PM "Shadow RP twisted " I want this done so I can put the profile in so they are all in the same place.
8 ) I don't care if your characters have an issue with each other, but keep it civil between each other okay? Don't be puttin the actual person down or anything like that, you WILL be kicked out.

Brief Bio: Allvira grew up in the forest with her mother and father, staying far away from the corrupt civilization. But that soon ended when the darkness spread further and her mother and father were killed while protecting her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~STARTING~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Jher Forest, Western Vasadori.
A non-corrupt wild pig is grazing the half dead grass in the dark forest. A slight snapping sound can be heard, alerting the swine for a moment, but it soon returns its concentration back to eating. A moment later, a Black Spear-like weapon soars out of a dense tree line and into the pigs chest. Quickly, the animal falls, and soon after, dies. I walk out of the trees and up to my kill, pulling my polearm from its carcass and placing it on the ground.
"Bout time I got something.... I'd have sworn all the animals in this forest had been turned until I saw this guy... or... girl I guess it is"
I pull out a small knife and begin to clean my kill.

It was around noon when i rose from my sleep. I had been haunted as usial by nightmars of the shadows, of my sister. sighing deeply I i jumped down from the tree i had sheltered in. landing gracefully by the remnants of the previous nights fire. scooping up left over meat i heated them with a little fire magic befor quickly eating it. after washing it down with some spring water i collected my pack and started walking. " well its going to be another long day might as well get going not like i have anything worth staying for." taking one last glance behind me i continued following the stream not knowing where it was taking me nor caring.

As I finish cleaning my meat, I prepare a small fire and a makeshift sipt roast for the peices, which I skewer onto my contraption and begin to cook.
"Now hopefully the smoke and scent of food doesn't drive anything unpleasant here..."
(BTW I changed my weapon, but it still fits into the whole thrown like a spear into the pig thing in my first post because, due to its symetrical shape, it would still be throwable)

i had been walking for several hours when the stream widened out to form a small pool. deciding to take a brake i dumped my pack and began serching for my food. some small berrys and nuts. " hmm gess im gonner need to go hunting soon this won't last long". packing every thing up i hid my pack and armed my self with my knives. moving silently i picked up a trail and began to hunt.

"Not too much longer" I conclude "Guess I just keep watch and wait now..."

(ok then)
it turned out that the trail i had been following had been an old one the animal was clearly long gone by now. just as i was turning to go my nose caught a different sent. fire. where there fire there normally people and where theres people theres always food. moving a silently as befor i aprouched the camp. from my vantage point i could see it was occupied by only one person an easy take down if i was desprate but i knew there would be food else where. jumping down causially i turned to leave but a twig snaped echoing though the silence.

Hearing the noise, I spring up and spin towards the sound. I am expecting to see a Shadow Beast, but instead, I see a woman. Relieved, but not totally relaxed, I walk nearer to her, my sword in it's sheath and my polearm in my right hand.
"And who might you be hmm? Solo traveller seeking survival, or a threat to my peaceful afternoon?"

Tensing slight i turned remaining reddy weather to flight or flee. " solo traverler who means you no harm i'm was simple out hunting when i caught the smell of your fire and came to investigate i promise you i have no intentions of stealing your food i am nither desprater and nor do i see you as an imediate threat. i was simpley curiouse."
