Hobbies:
►Swimming- Elaine has been an avid lover of the water ever since her parents enrolled her in swimming classes at age 6. This love for the water continued throughout her school years, leading to Elaine joining the swim team and getting a scholarship to Crystal Academy ever so long ago. Elaine hasn't really swum competitively since her senior year of high school; once she entered college and decided to pursue a career in the medical field there was little time for anything besides studying. Nevertheless, Elaine makes a habit to do laps a couple mornings a week in the hospital's pool.
►Napping- When one endeavors to become a doctor, along with their usual studies, they must learn the art of dropping dead at a moments notice. Her hectic schedule at the hospital doesn't allow for a normal sleeping regiment, so Elaine utilizes whatever break time she has to catch some shut-eye in her office or a random lounge. She's famous for being able to go from dead-sleep to "There was a bus accident and the ER's standing room only" awake in minutes.
►Working- Surprisingly, Elaine actually loves her job at the hospital and doesn't consider it a chore to go to work. She loves taking care of people and helping in any way she can; whether it's making the rounds with interns or even doing paperwork in the clinic, Elaine loves the hospital and practicing medicine with every fiber of her being; no matter how stressful or maddening it can be, she'd never quit doing what she loves.

►Cool-Headed- Years of working in the ER have taught Elaine the importance of being calm under pressure. As she tells all new interns, "If you're panicking, you're not helping the patient... in fact, you're making them worse. Stay calm". In the medical profession, decisions made under pressure or hysteria can literally mean the difference between life and death, so Elaine takes great pains to make sure that nothing fazes her. Of course, this doesn't mean she's immune to the horrors she sees everyday, even Elaine has the occasional fit of tears when she's alone; but no matter what, she tries to maintain her composure in front of the staff and the patients.
