Ours was an aquatic theme. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3zOaKFYSUU

We placed second on guard which I'm glad for. We're not perfect but we've made a ton of improvement. I'm the only guy if you can spot me lol.

Our show was America themed. It was alright but I thought last year's was better.

Our show was Alice and Wonderland themed. Look up Stony point High School Marching Band on youtube. You'll will love it.

Haha CSHS is also the abbreviatin for my school. I'm at an airport right now but I'll watch all of these when I get home. There was an Alice in Wonderland theme and an American theme at the competitions we went to.

Okay I watched both of those. I really enjoyed the choreograph for the Planets. Our school has a strict no violence policy so we can't use sabres or rifles. evil

My band's theme was Colors. We played "True Colors," "Black or White," "Pretty Fly for a White Guy,"; "Yellow Polka Dot Bikini," "Brown Eyed Girl,"; and "So What?" (Pink) and "I've Gotta Feelin'" (Black-eyed Peas) and "True Colors" (reprise).

Our's was What If?
It featured all these hypothetical situations with a voice over saying them out loud
for example:
What if the end was the beginning?
We played typical ending music at the beginning of the show.
What if there was only metal?
Only the brass played, there was also "What if there was only wood?" for the woodwinds.
What if we used our voices?
Everyone starts singing.
Etc, etc.
We tied for the last place in area and lost the tie breaker...

We did Songs of the 60s this year. We played I Can See Clearly Now, Jump In the Line (from Beetlejuice), She's Not There, and Whiter Shade of Pale. i erally liked our show this year, WAY better than last year's show- Beethoven. Beethoven wasn't BAD, per se, it's just that it's not really "marching band" music, you know?

My school did a "Fiesta" show using Mais Que Nada, Salsa and Chimps, and All Night Long. Wasn't really my favorite show especially since I was ending my senior year off with it but whatever.

This is it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0eq4NaZLww&feature=player_embedded

Skip to 3:30 of the video because the first few minutes are just of us standing on the sideline, then marching on, then warming up, and finally setting up the first set lol

"Mount Olympus: Fate of the Gods"

Yeah. c:
It relied heavily on the low brass and drumline. Our pit used four mallets throughout the entire show, and that actually earned us some points with the percussion judge.

Wihch, now that I think about it, my band director likes darkly themed shows. Example of past year's:
"Journey Through a Nightmare"
"Shining Through Darkness"
