Another day had passed. Or so she thought. She wasn't able to keep track of the days anymore. Ever since she had lost her sight the says were starting to run together. There were moments when she wondered if she would ever be able to see again. But she couldn't allow herself to think like that. Her parents had always told her to look at the glass half full.
She chuckled to herself. Maybe without her sight, she'd be able to gain some super sensitive hearing like they do on TV. That was what she could hope for. Something had to come out of her visit to the doctor.
She sat in the hallway, making sure to stay close to her room. The last thing she needed was to get lost again. Especially when she didn't know who or what was around.

She watched her with eyes wide and unblinking. She watched her with keen interest and curiosity. Sibyl was crouched, leaning intently forward on the tips of her toes on level with the other girl while she watched. Something seemed to amuse the girl. Perplexed, Sibyl cocked her head slightly in wonder and wait but no other sound left the other girl's lips. The spirit raised her hand slowly and carefully and extended it as though to reach out to her. She stopped short, hesitating as though something were stopping her from getting too close.
Sibyl had been watching the girl from time to time but only recently been drawn to her. It confused her, almost frustrated her that she had never noticed the brunette before then but the reasoning for that also evaded her.

Kari suddenly felt like she was being watched. She suddenly froze, and looked around, though she couldn't see anything. She held her knees up to her chest, and turned her head from side to side,
"H..hello?" She called out lightly, hoping it was either one of her friends, or just her imagination. She couldn't hear anything, but still couldn't shake the odd feeling. She really hoped she had that super sonic hearing right about now.

Sibyl watched as Kari started to panic but didn't reply when she called out, she didn't even move. Eventually though, she did extend her hand a little further. She even reached out with the other too and carefully brushed the palms of her hands over the other's cheeks.
Perhaps Sibyl was trying to calm her, the spirit's motives weren't exactly clear. She wasn't even quite sure what to make of the girl yet. At least now Kari seemed to be somewhat aware of her presence, or a presence at all.
She made a soft sound, something between a sigh and a hum. It was a strange sound but it wasn't at all hostile or menacing. It was very faint too.
