Hello, my name is Theus. I am the keeper of the universe's records. I am before man, and I am before his primitive notions of Gods. All that exists beyond the mortals is my kin, the Ancients. We created all, we know all, and we have existed before time was even a concept. Ageless we have entertained ourselves in creating civilizations, and on occasion destroying them. My brother, Ethrin, created your world. For a time he even lived among you. Ethrin eventually grew bored with your kind and fell into a slumber. The Gods your people have held so highly are all simple interpretations of Him. Sadly you have completely forgotten Ethrin's true nature. Ethrin is a being of hatred, and his influence exists in what is now considered sin. Funny though, Ethrin gave every human part of his own being. So if you put thought into it, you are all nothing but vessels of sin and malice. Well, it's funny to me anyway. Ethrin did not however leave your world. He exists beneath it, He is the core. Over time your kind eventually made contact with Ethrin.


This is an account of the slaughter that ensued.


Firstly, I shall give an index of my own brethren.

Theus: The Keeper of Records. Theus is more merciful than his brothers and sisters, often serving as a voice of reason when they decide to let their creations suffer. Theus has never created a world of his own, and instead built a kingdom of the people who have passed on beyond the others' worlds. The humans rarely meet Theus, but his usual personification is a bright light at the end of a long, dark tunnel.


Ethrin: The Fury. Ethrin is a destroyer. His presence instills rage, and in some cases hopelessness. Only one record actually reveals his form to humans. His being was divided into the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. He is considered a child among his own, and his actions may show why. He has no feelings of remorse, and his every action is impulse or blind rage. Before creating Earth and the humans, he had created seven other worlds. They were all destroyed by his own hand.


Ferrus: The Great One. Ferrus is an eternal sleep. Theus himself has no records on Ferrus, but it's beleived he was the creator of the Original Beings. If this is true, he is the most powerful being in existence.



Demin: The Benevolent One. Demin is one of the elder sisters. She has created one world, and it still exists to this day. She is a being of love, and while her own world has never committed war, she has destroyed many other civilizations. The reason for this is rage. She is vengeful, and will destroy any who oppose her will. Her earthly personification is of the Greek goddess Aphrodite.


Kech: The Apathetic. Kech is uncaring of his worlds. Kech's main pursuit in existence is the pursuit of pleasure. At one time he did this by serving as his peoples' God. But he grew bored with this. Now he derives his pleasure from destruction. He has had no interpretations on Earth. Ethrin disdains Kech, and used his influence to show apathy and the hedonistic pursuit of happiness as sin.



Dyuun: The Abyss. All feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and despair derive themselves from Dyuun. She has created no worlds, but she has been known to occasionally arise in her siblings' realms. She is soft-spoken among the other Original Beings, often playing as the passive sibling. Of course she does have a darker side. She also creates feelings of betrayal, vengeance, and justice. She often serves as a judge to the others.





Other beings will reveal themselves in time, but I think you've waited long enough, so I begin the tale of humanity's downfall.
