User Image She nodded a little, setting her head back on her paws. "The gods aren't very nice then," she muttered. "Its not fair."

User Image "It's not... few things truly are. Your uncle, for example. He has such a kind spirit. It's a shame and quite unfair that he's such a fool," she rose again and pulled her niece close.

"You have a kind spirit too, Bee. I'm sure you'll be alright."

She leaned against her aunt, heaving a great sigh. "Yeah, yeah. I know. I'll be alright. I'll always be alright." She gave Mal a faint smile.

"And if you ever think you won't be you come find me or your mother, you understand? We will always be here to help you," she couldn't think of a single thing her neice would get in trouble for not no doubt the girl was well capable of figuring out that portion for herself.

Bayhas nodded, looking up at Mal. She smiled at her and leaned over to nudge her. "I know. What would I ever do without you, Aunt Mal?" she said, her voice taking on a much cheerier note.

"Go off chasing an imaginary white rabbit?" the older lioness laughed. She didn't really want to think about that.

"Tell me dear, have you seen your cousins about lately? My children seem to visit me less then you do now a days!"

She frowned again. "I eat rabbits all the time... They are real, right Aunt Mal?"

At the mention of her cousin's, her ears perked. She shook her head. "I don't think so... Where are they?" She looked around for them, as if they were right there.

"Yes dear. White rabbits are rare. If you see one don't you go chasing it. It might be real but it also may be one of your apparitions."

"Exploring, from what I've heard. It's a wide world out there and few are content to settle for what's in front of them."

"Oh.. Okay. I'll try to remember that." She probably wouldn't. If anything, she'd see the white rabbit and follow it because it was so different.

"I wish I could see them again! I miss them." She smiled at her aunt. "Do you know where Mama is? I haven't seen her in a while either."

"Well if you do see them be sure to tell them to come pay me a visit! I miss them as much as I've missed you lately," if not more.

"Yes, Azh isn't far away. I saw her this morning, infact," the sisters had never strayed far from each other. "Would you like to come with me and go see her?"

"Of course I will, Aunt Mal! I bet they miss you too."

She broke into a grin and got to her feet at her aunt's next suggestion. "Yes! Oh, please, yes! I can't remember the last time I saw her."

She nuzzled her niece one last time and then turned away, "Follow me. Assuming she hasn't wandered far she'll be this way."

With a bit of luck they wouldn't be interupting a hunt or anything like that. Bayhas was the last lioness she wanted around when a serious hunt was taking place.

Bayhas followed along happily, oblivious to her aunt's concerns. It never occured to her that her oddness might turn others away from her, or that she could be getting in their way. She just knew it was unconvieniant for her.

"I hope Mama's having a good day," she said cheerily.

"If she isn't I'm sure she'll change her mind when she see's you!" Mal laughed.

They didn't have to go far before they spotted Azshara in the distance. She was lounging under a tree and even from this distance it was plain to see that she was dead asleep.

She beamed at that and nodded her head. Of course Mama's day would get better when she saw her! She knew hers would get better when she saw Azshara.

As soon as she spotted her, Bayhas let out a happy cry and galloped over to her, not seeming to notice she was asleep. "Mama!"

Mal watched from a distance as Azh woke with a start then laughed and got up to go greet her daughter. She'd go join them later. After all, she might as well allow them a few moments of privacy. She knew Azh would appreciate it and Bayhas likely wouldn't know the difference anyhow.

Bayhas barreled into her mother, jumping playfully on her like she was still a cub. "Mama! What have you been doing? I missed you!" She grinned wide at her and slobbered over her affectionately.
