With the point of her toes, Lieutenant Paragonite pushed the body of her latest victim aside. She clutched the starseed in her hand, taking in the rush of what had just occurred. It was exhilarating, taking someone's star seed. She didn't need to eat it to feel that adrenaline that Scheelite seemed to require.
She looked around, realizing she shouldn't stay there for too long. Bodies began to smell after awhile. With this darted away, the sound of her heels tapping against the ash-fault.
It was relatively late into the night, it had to be passed midnight. Paragonite's time awareness wasn't the greatest when she was lacking in the digital timepiece accessories. Finding targets this late at night, on a weekday, was more than bothersome.
Weekends were much easier, you had a nice selection of drunken young people to lure into the allies. Life was easier on the weekends.
She wandered for some time, finally sighing with frustration. She hadn't come across anyone in some time. Leaning back against the brick wall of the building she'd come across, she grumbled into the darkness.
Maybe it was time to pack up for the night and make sure Scheelite hadn't trashed her kitchen.

Summer was AWESOME. At least it was if you didn't have summer school, which Sailor Merope just finished for the rest of the summer earlier. It felt nice to finally be able to relax and sleep in, even if it meant skipping out on his team meetings. He figured it wasn't too bad to miss them -- after all, the Pleiades got along rather fine without him there struggling to follow along with the plan.
However, he couldn't ignore his duty. He was chosen to fight against the threat, to protect himself and just about everyone else in Destiny City too weak to protect themselves. And speaking of -- wait. Was that?
Sailor Merope leaned forward, his hands gripping the edge of the roof he was perched upon. Was that another senshi? One he didn't know? There was a purple skirt, a bow, another bow... Looked like a senshi to him!
"HEEEEY!" He shouted, waving to Paragonite from the rooftop, "HEY! HAVE YOU FOUND ANYTHING TONIGHT?"

The sudden voice calling to her caught the lieutenant off guard. What the? A sailor senshi? And... wait... Was he asking her if she had found anything that night? How very odd.
Her mind reeled for a moment, before bringing her back to her meeting with Lieutenant Variscite. Deja vu, almost, but this time... it was in her favour.
She looked at her outfit, and sighed. Right. She got it now. The feelings of aggravation that she initially felt seemed to subside though, and a mischievous smile crossed her lips.
"Yeah!" she called up to the senshi, "Why don't you come down here and I'll tell you about it. It was pretty insane!" she waved for him to come down with one hand, the other by her side, concealing her baton out of sight.
This was going to be a laugh.

"KAY!" Merope called back. The pirate senshi stood up and backed up before running to the edge of the roof and jumping, reaching out to grab a hold of the next roof. He made the jump, then proceeded to leap down to the fire escape and clatter his way down.
Sailor Merope landed next to Paragonite, flashing her a grin. "Here I am! Lemme hear all about it!"

Wow, this senshi was... wow. Did he have danglies? Really? She had to admit, she was mesmerized by his costuming for, just a moment. The boy had a flair, and it was apparent in not just his clothing, but in his approach as well.
"Well, you see. I was going through this alleyway, and I was shocked to find this huge youma there." she motioned with her free arm up into the air, above her head.
"It was on top of this poor, defenseless hobo. It really was terrible." her face wore a look of concern, "I attacked it, but.. I couldn't save the guy. The youma got it's starseed, and got away. It's back there somewhere, I had to come here to get away, I just... couldn't handle it on my own." there were tears in the corner of her eyes.
"I... I didn't know what else to do. I'm so glad you found me! Maybe it's still back there!" her voice became exasperated.
"Do you think you can help me?" there was a pleading tone attached in her voice. It flowed softly, full of regret, and need. She reached up, and touched his arm.
"Please?"

Yes indeed Paragonite. This was a boy with shiny golden danglies. He even had -- earrings?! Earrings and a shiny skull and crossbones necklace. He even struck a pose for her before relaxing into a more normal pose.
Normal for a pirate-themed senshi, at least.
"A youma?!" He asked. He was roughly the same age as Sheelite, and seemed to be acting much like the captain. That is, when the captain was just Demy. The boy puffed up his chest. "I'd be honored to! That poor man. You'd think that by now they'd all go to the homeless shelters..." He shook his head. "Anyway! Which way did it go last?"

"Back that way," she removed her hand from his arm, pointing off in the direction she'd come from.
"I'm certain it must still be there." she continued, "I imagine it's trying to find more people to ruin." she'd already taken notice of his earrings. They were very pretty, though the jolly roger wasn't really her cup of tea, per say.
They'd be great for Halloween or something like that. "Thank you so much... I'm so very, very grateful." the hand she was using to hide the baton, gripped it a little harder. She knew what she was going to do, she just had to wait for the opportune time.

"ONWARD THEN!" He shouted, dramatically pointing before dashing off to jog in the direction she indicated. He didn't seem to be too concerned with being stealthy given the racket he was making. Even the jingle-jingle of his fuku wasn't silenced.
"By the way!" He called over his shoulder, "What did this thing look like?"

"Well..." she started off, darting up closely behind him, "it was about 5'7", and all black and purple like. I think there even may have been a little bit of gold there." her smile was slowly creeping back up on her face.
"I saw it as it leaned over the person. It spoke too, so strange. It told the man that it was going to a better place, and that it would be quick, and painless." there was a very brief pause as found herself almost touching the senshi. Her breath could be felt on his neck with how close she was.
"Too bad it's not going to be that way for you." her voice changed from the soft, pained concern, to a mercilessly amused tone.
"I'M GONNA SPIN YOU RIGHT ROUND." she brought her baton up and about, bringing it towards the back of Merope's head, with any luck, she'd land a solid blow.
It'd be all down hill from there, for the Senshi.

SMACK!
Merope went down as the baton connected with the back of his head.
But like a certain Queen song, the boy got right back up again. Specifically, he lay there for a moment, stunned. Then he kicked with his hands and performed a hand-stand before twisting to one side, spinning around and jumping to his feet. "YOU!" He cried, "You lying liar! You're a member of the Negaverse!"

"Lying liar? Isn't that a little redundant. Then again, I couldn't really expect much for your level of intelligence, granted. Considering how easily you walked into this." she sneered at the pirate senshi.
"Too bad you won't be around long enough to stew in the remorse." she took another step forward, hurtling herself at the turquoise haired, and altogether too trusting boy.
"Any last words, Jack?" her voice snarled, her eyes were wild, and the speed she managed to accrue from nowhere was surprising, given the state he'd 'found' her in. Even if it had been a trap.

"Yeah! WAVE FIST!" He shouted, curling his hand into a fist and throwing it at the lieutenant as she threw herself towards him. At the very words, water seemed to form around the boy's fist. The water rippled, the momentum shaping it into a wave as his fist went towards her stomach.

The water hit her like a brick, sending the overconfident lieutenant flying back into a nearby wall. Dust flew up around her, the sound of something breaking. As the dust cleared, however, Paragonite was standing, soaked, and angry looking. She could feel the pain coursing through her back, but she pushed it aside, much like she pushed aside most everything.
"You're going to pay for that, senshi twerp." she held her baton in front of her, and beckoned him to close the distance with her fingers.
"Let's dance." it was cheesy, she knew it, but she didn't care. The rage was welling up inside her. She'd battled senshi before, and she didn't care to lose to them.
And she wasn't about to start.

"Oh crap are you o-" Merope began to ask, cutting himself off as she snarled back at him. He looked a bit dumbfounded and apologetic -- youma he was fine and dandy with attacking. Negaverse Agents on the other hand he was still uncomfortable with attacking. He was even feeling guilty over that punch!
"Um. How about no?" He asked, holding his fists up in front of him in a defensive position. "I'm not very good at dancing y'know."

"Well," she zipped up towards the boy again, "that's just unfortunate, because I absolutely love to dance." her voice was preening, cocky.
She spun around with all the grace of someone who had spent years perfecting their dancing and gymnastics routines. Years poured into becoming the best. There were others better, yes, but at this moment, it was all about physics.
Force of motion, to be precise.
She spun around with her baton gaining speed. If she had her way, it should hit his ribs.
