I'm going to have a nice traditional thanksgiving.
I'm going to go over my neighbors house, give them diseases, slaughter them, then I'll take their land.

So there isn't any similar kind of holiday like Thanksgiving in Poland? Probably not, only America would think to dedicate a whole day to stuffing ourselves and pretending we didn't slaughter hundreds of people many years ago on this very day.

Digi: we are the right owners of our land so we never had to slaughter anybody. It's more of which prince was the toughest and was able to put the tribes together into one organism in the 10th century.
Unless you'll take the Grunwald battle (or Tannenberg battle as Germans call it) as a slaughterhouse (8 thousand Teutonic troops were killed in this battle) which enabled us to regain access to Baltic Sea some 50 years later. xd
Generally speaking - no we do not have any such holiday.

To be fair, for quite a while we slaughtered hundreds of people EVERY day... so by that measure we could pretty much have Thanksgiving whenever we wanted.

You mean over in Poland you guys dont just have a random day to eat until you can't eat anymore? Thats it, I'm going over there and creating such a holiday.

I don't think Thanksgiving is celebrated anywhere else apart from the States. A long time ago Finland used to be under the reign of Sweden, then under the reign of Russia (known as the Autonomous Grand Duchy of Finland in the Russian empire) until it became independent less than 100 years ago.
I think the closest what we have to a "thanksgiving" is the national veterans' day, when we give thanks to those who fought in the many wars and survived. It's not a holiday and it's not a day meant for eating. We just haul our Finnish flags up on every pole possible and that's it. We celebrate in silence.
