"Who am I..." Spoke a soft voice from a dainty female. Her, icy blue, eyes scanned the area around her. She looked down at the flowers, vegetables, and fruits she had planted with one of her new found friends. Her name was Elizabeth Anne Smith, but she had a story behind her question. She pulled a few weeds out with an empty expression. She was confused, alone, and hurt from what she had heard from other foxes.

Elizabeth had woken from a coma months ago. The doctors had told her that she wouldn't be able to regain her memory. She was later on given to Kitsune, a loving mother who had renamed her. "Maybe this can be my second chance?" She asked herself as she looked up at a stray butterfly.

Another boring day for the spartan fox. Like many other days he often spent his time lounging in a tree limb, gazing at the passing sky and watching the other foxes frolic. Often more than not it was moments like this he would meditate and secretly wished he could find someone to do the same with, even if it was just a chance acquaintance ship. There were so few other ninjas around...well. At least ninja spartans. It was such a rare breed, and it only reminded him of his solitude. "How come my sister found someone before me? It's not fair...I was born first!...I think"

He sighed. Then again, his sister was just hotheaded and stubborn, and she somehow managed to find someone just like her. Ironic, but it made sense. The other lover types around here never stuck with a partner long, so it was hard to find someone like him...but who needed someone similar anyway

"Aaaachoo!" The girl sneezed after taking a whiff from a flower. She noticed that some of the petals had fallen. She frowned, setting the flower back into the dirt. She sighed as she plucked more weeds from her garden. She smiled softly at the growth of the fruit and vegetable plants. "Grow, reach the sky with your green hands. Touch the sunrays..." She spoke to them tenderly then looked back to see how they were turning out.

Nodding with a sense of accomplishment and a bit of happiness. She moved towards a stray rock, kicking it lightly. She picked it up, looking over at the tree from where an unfamiliar voice had be heard. "Is there someone there?" She asked loud enough as she looked around. She had sworn that she heard a voice, possibly a male.

Letting out another soft sight and folding his arms behind his head to lay back against the trunk of the tree, he closed his eyes for a moment to see if he felt like meditating, but he was soon distracted by a voice calling out. "Huh...what?" He muttered quietly as he sat up and let his legs hang down while he looked around.

His vision focused on the field nearby with foxes dancing to and fro. The female voice couldn't have come from one of them, they were too far. He turned his head and soon spotted a lone vixen near a peculiar garden."Hello?" He called out in response. He shamed himself for not only missing a pretty lady such as herself, but also the garden.

Ears perked up, she found where the voice had come from. It was from a male, but she hadn't expected for there to be anyone around.. She looked at him curiously then waved lightly with a look of unease. "Hello there..." She said shyly as she set the rock back down on the ground. Her blue tail swished lightly behind her as she just watched him.

She had noticed the armor he had on him. Remembering what Kitsune's grandson had said about armored foxes called Spartans. "Are you a spartan?" She asked quietly as she picked up a caterpillar, placing it on a small sunflower.

He perked his ears as she returned his call as it seemed she was the one who noticed him. He was secretly delighted, but noticed her uneasiness and how it reminded him of another he had met a long time ago. To try and ease her nervousness, he swung a leg over the tree limb to sit on it like a bench, facing her."Don't worry...I don't bite" He said with a weak smile. He never understood why people were so shy.

Then she asked of his armor it would seem. He looked at it, but looked back and nodded. "I'm half Spartan. My mother is a Geisha and my father is a Spartan." He took a brief second to remember them and wondered how they were doing, but soon focused on the task at hand. "And who might you be?" he tried to say with a stronger smile

She began to feel the nervousness slowly drift away and was replaced with a light smile. She giggled lightly at the comment of being bitten. "A Geisha and a Spartan, how romantic. I don't doubt that your mother must of been quite beautiful in all her glory." She said in a rather quiet voice as her smile got a bit wider.

The smile had faded away when she was asked of who she was. "My name? I'm... Elizabeth Anne Smith, but that's my new name..." She spoke in a saddened tone as she looked away from him. Her gaze returned to him as she tried to keep her past behind herself so it wouldn't interfere with meeting this half spartan. "What might your name be, Spartan?" she asked with curious eyes as her wings stretched out then laid back down against her sides.

He leaned forward and let his weight pull him to the ground, but even with the armor he landed on his feet ever so lightly. " Yes..I guess so." he said with some indecisiveness. He never looked at his mother as beautiful. Hell he barely got to see his mother growing up. He was always with his dad or his master.

"Ah..well, a pleasure Miss Smith" he said with a calm grin on his face. He tucked a paw at his waist and took a brief bow of respect. Normally he would have taken her paw and shown it some affection, but he didn't want to approach her so soon as she still had some nervousness to her, but he wasn't blind to her sudden tone. "New name? what happened to your old one?" he said as he returned the paw to his side and took a few steps forward, hesitantly, and watching her movements. I'm more of a ninja and a lover than I am a Spartan, but my name is Bryyo" he explained with a coy grin

Giggling lightly when he bowed. she smiled, feeling more at ease around the half Spartan. She grabbed hold the sides of her dress from the bottom, bending her knees to perform a curtsy in equal politeness.

"Please, Call me Elizabeth." She spoke as she looked at him with a calm aura about her. She feel saddened when he asked about her name. "Well you see, I had woken from a long coma. I don't have any memories of my past or know my real name. Other foxes had told me bits and pieces of who I was before..." She explained as she felt the heaviness in her heart feel a bit lighter for telling him her story. She told him of how she was brought in by a loving grandmother, Kitsune. Talking of how she was welcomed with loving hearts and open arms.

She watched him get closer to her, but merely smiled. "Bryyo? What a unique name." She felt a feeling she hadn't felt in a long, long while. A spark of happiness. She felt safe around him. "A ninja and a lover. You really are someone special, Bryyo. What brings you around her to my garden?" Asking politely as she looked over at his red and white armor.

He was thoroughly surprised by the curtsy. His eyes expressed it so, but he dismissed it as a response to his bow, which then let the gears in his head turn and he chuckled lightly "You didn't have to do that. I only did it because my master would smack me with a stick if I didn't" He chuckled. He then realized maybe that wasn't such a proper thing to say. "Erm...well I would have done it anyway, but...you didn't have to" He grinned nervously and let a paw follow his expression and rub the back of his black spiky hair.

He was quick to lower his paw and his expression by the quick tone of voice, and while he listened he felt a small bit of sympathy. "I'm sorry that happened." he spoke with a genuine concern of sympathy, but not being the one to dwell on such disheartening events he smiled again. "But even so, you still have a lot of others around to help you and make you feel good. That's got to count for somthin'"

He nodded "Dad Named me after a planet. I was shocked to find out to" he said with a smirk, but soon found a small tint of red take over on his cheeks. "Well...special...I wouldn't know about that" he remarked, shying his eyes away from her while finding his paw rub the back of his head once more. ""Oh..you know..I was just..sitting in that tree and well..here we are" He tittered just a bit. How he had suddenly become so nervous over this girl was beyond him. Maybe it was because she was more...modern in her looks, and obviously not afraid of him. It was comforting and somewhat scary at the same time

Elizabeth laughed lightly at his comment of politeness. "I curtsied because I wanted to return the politeness, Bryyo." She told him calmly as she watched him rub the back of his head. Her tail swished lightly as she picked up a crushed flower by the Spartan's foot. She dusted it off, only for the petals to fall to the ground as she rose it up.

"One could never have too many friends or family to help someone get back onto their feet." She said as she looked up at the tree as a few stray leaves fell from the light breeze. "This garden is a result of meeting my friend friend, Ishme. she helped me plant all these flowers, vegetables, and fruits. We tend to it as our own friendship grow stronger. Do you have friends like that, Bryyo?" She explained then looked back at him with a smile. She found his presence to be soothing and heart warming.

"A planet? How very interesting. Your father must be proud of you." She giggled lightly since she thought of her name as plain compared to his own. She blinked at the light color on his cheeks,"Everything alright?" Asking with concern as she pulled out a handkerchief from her glove. She looked back up at the tree to see the branch he had sat upon. "Must have been relaxing to sit upon that branch. I wish all my worries and problems could melt away like that..." She spoke softly as she flapped her wings. She fluttered up to the branch he sat on, looking out at the horizon. A lone tear rolled down her cheek as she smiled. Confused, she blinked as she wiped the tear away. "I don't know what had come over me. I apologize for you to see something like that, Bryyo." She told him as her pale cheeks turned a soft pink from embarrassment.

He shook his head with a sly smile on his face "Well it wasn't necessary, but thank you" he said trying to get past the fact that no one had ever done such a polite thing to him ever. He watched as she picked up a flower he had stepped on by accident and dust it off. Perplexed, he only wondered if she would look out for every flower in the world, or if it was just that one.

But his attention was quickly drawn back to her eyes as she continued on. "No I would suppose not. It might get a bit of a pain to try and keep up with them all though" he was about to laugh, but silenced himself to hear she had more to say. Even then he couldn't help but look around the garden. This was the creation of friendship? Hell he was lucky if his sister and him didn't trash the house from fighting, let alone make something like that. "I can't say I have many friends, so I guess that's a no" he put another grin on his face to show he didn't really care that he had few friends.

I think my master is more proud of me than my father...well..he is too, but you know what I mean" again he struggled with his meaning. He felt so off in his game so to speak. It wasn't bad, but he just had no idea what to do. "It can be relaxing if you sit right, though nothing beats a nice rock on a pond" he chuckled mildly grinning a bit more and finding his eyes close shut just for a moment to further accent his expression. It all faded away when he caught a glimmer of a tear, and his ears raised in alarm "No it's ok, but what brought that to your eye?"

"To be honest, I have no real idea. It was just so sudden and out of the blue." She said as she made sure they were no other lone tears down her cheeks. She sighed with relief that there was none to be found. She looked back down at him, smiling lightly. "It's nothing to worry much about, Bryyo. Probably just my subconscious thinking of my past life. I usually never have anything like this happen. Maybe us to meet was something more than meets the eye." She spoke calmly as she laid against the base of the tree.

Elizabeth had believed in that there were moments where something simple was meant to be something extraordinary greater than anyone could have imagined. She mused as she watched the birds fly across the sky, her blue tail swishing lightly as it hung below her. "Well, I guess I'll have to be your first friend to have our friendship grow strong. Would you like to be my friend?" She asked sweetly as she looked down at him. She couldn't help looking into his brown eyes. She blushed lightly, turning away quickly.

He stared at her for a moment before easing a smile back on his face. " Well it's ok" he stated as he inched forward to pat her on the shoulder. If he were crying, which was unlikely, he would appreciate the same notion. "We all have things that we don't want to remember sometimes, and when we do or just feel like we do, we can't help but feel a bit...emotional...." He paused and looked at his hand, before bring it back to rub the back of his head again in nervousness " I'm sorry. I'm starting to sound like my master" he chuckled sheepishly.

His expression faded to a wide eyed stare. He wasn't sure what to make of her words of fated destiny for them to meet. He didn't truly believe in that sort of thing. He liked the idea of chance and chance meetings. He could have stayed in the tree or even been in a different place. He shifted his weight in a bit of the awkward silence, and looked to the ground in thought for a moment. Only to look back up when she had asked a slightly expected question. His grin returned and he barely hesitated to take another bow, a bit deeper this time and looking up to her as he had gotten down to his lower height. " I would be honored, Elizabeth"

Elizabeth looked at him with a smile as she could feel his paw upon her shoulder. "Thank you, Bryyo." She spoke softly as she felt better about the lone tear. His words of wisdom had brought up her spirits as her wings fluttered lightly. "Your master must be a true gentleman. What is he like to you?" Asking quietly with curiosity. She was wanting to know who the fox was, but more than likely did not know of who there where.

Smiling joyously as he bowed once more for her. "Wonderful! absolutely wonderful!" Clasping her paws together as she giggled lightly. Another friend to create a new chapter into her story. She always hoped to make many friends since she could remember being taken home by Kitsune.
