Much like the "create your own boss" except with weapons. It can be anything from a stick to a rocket launcher as long as you put thought into it. I'll go first to give a rough draft.
Weapon name: Blade of the Los Illuminados.
Appearance: Much like Osmund Saddler's staff, this sword appears to have been infected with los plagos and completely taken over by it. The blade ceases to be steel yet is still razor sharp. The hilt would be adorned with the Illuminados symbol and from that would stem the plague.
Ability: Can infect anyone it cuts with Los Plagos and can then use the parasite to control the host.
Who would wield this: Either Krauser or Wesker (just cuz Alberts cool like that)

I have two, so I hope that's okay. Though I am ambiguous in the description, both of these weapons are weilded by my OC, Mizu.
The first is a pair of swords. The scabbard (i.e. the case that a sword is sheathed in) holds both; both blades go into the scabbard at each end. The scabbard itself is barely 10 inches long, but by use of a particular magical art (the art itself called Cœlus in my book) enables both swords to fit in it. The scabbard, with both swords in it, looks like it would only hold a dagger inside it. It is polished black wood and rests horizontally across the back of one's waist. In the right end (the end of the scabbard that can be easily reached with the weilder's right hand) is a long, straight-edged silver sword with a squared tip that can segment itself into a whip-like weapon. It's not literally made of silver, though it has silver as part of the composition. Thus, it can cause at least a little damage to entities that are weak to silver. Werewolves, for example.
Engraved into the flat surface of the blade is an incantation:
ΩΣΕΞΑΛΛΟΥΚΟΣΜΟΥΔΙΑΧΡΟΝΟΥΚΑΙΧΩΡΟΥΕΜΟΥΨΥΧΗΕΞΕΛΕΥΣΕΤΑΙ
The incantation will allow for the weilder to utilize the powers of his mirrored soul across other continuities, though for only a brief period.
In the other end is a much shorter, katana-like sword. This end of the scabbard is meant to seem inconspicuous, intended to sort of mask the fact that there's a sword there. As you may already be able to tell, the second sword is an iaitou. It's meant for very fast surprise attacks. If one should lose the larger sword, the smaller one can be a back-up.
The second is a pair of modified pistols that resemble wide-barreled revolvers. Despite that they're guns, they have no triggers and no hammers; they do not fire bullets. In place of the cyllinder, there is instead an embedded gemstone. The gemstone is enchanted by Illecebra and generates crystallized Tenebra magic (those being two other magical arts; Illecebra enchants things and Tenebra is dark matter). The weilder is the only one who can fire the weapons, as they were enchanted by him. The gemstone generates the crystallized Tenebra, which act as the bullets and fire them in the shape of a brilliant cut (I know, not aerodynamic at all, but let me have my fun =P). Because the bullets are generated by the gemstones, the ammo capacity is greatly augemented, though not infinite. However, to "reload" the weapons, one only needs to recharge the gemstones with more Tenebra.
So, the afterward, the swords I stole from my two favorite characters in Soul Calibur (Ivy and Setsuka) and put them together to create a kind of "Zelda/Sheik" effect; one is slower and stronger, while the other is faster and weaker.

Weapon Name: Péine Chun Báis (Pain To Death)
Appearance: A single dark pitch-black colored pistol. Lines run around the weapon and glow, as if being the veins of the weapon...glowing a dark yellow. On the barrel of the pistol is engraved
"Séid na focail amach ar chúl a chinn." (Blow the words out the back of their head.) These words glow in white and stick out from the yellow veins. The shape and mechanism is that of a flintlock pistol. Lastly, it has an odd symbol of a long-forgotten dark organization on it.
Ability: Unlimited ammo and no need to reload (due to an unknown power withing the weapon). When the bullet make contact, it infects the enemy with an unknown poison, slowly depleting their health and giving more health to the wielder of the Péine Chun Báis. Special shield of energy around the pistol so if you need to block, the hit will be absorbed.

I have three ideas that i'm going to put
weapon name: dragon blaster of oshu
appearance: it looks a bit like an old flintlock pistol that japanese used and at the end of the barrel is a gold dragon head with the rest of the body swirling around the barrel
ability:can increase special gauge and has infinite ammo no reload and can have the dragon turn into a big one ten feet long and have it fight for you.
who would wield this: date masamune from samurai warriors or balthier from ff xii
weapon name:eternity soul trader
appearance: a sword with no visible blade except it's reflection when you see the blade it has a long black blade with blood running down it, purple aura's also fly around it, the handle has a black guard like a rapier
ability:It can take someone's soul and be destroyed or put into another body stabbed by the sword, can hold up to 1,000,000 souls
who would wield this, nero from devil may cry 4 or nightmare from soul caliber 4
weapon name:dynasty of the Warlords
appearance: a box that is black with silver lining, when it opens it can turn into a weapon that fits the user's personality, with the handle being silver and blade being black.
ablility:makes a weapon that fits the user's personality and makes them 5x stronger and faster
who can wield this:anyone

I believe I will make another.
Name: Sapprazzan Crystal
Appearance: A beautiful blue crystal. The inside looks as though it ebbs with the tides.
Ability: Once tapped into, this crystal can turn the user's being into water. It also allows the user (while not in water form) to breathe underwater.
Who would wield: I really can't think of anyone....Link usually has a method of underwater breathing and turning to water would give Zelda an interesting new mechanic.

Appearance: 
Ability: Known throughout my figment of imagination as a weapon that wields 108 different abilities.
Core Ability / Ability #1 - Konpaku Rendaringu / Soul Render (Grants the blade the ability to strike directly at one's soul. A clean direct blow will instantly kill the target, thus the name Soul Render.)
Ability #2 - Monosugoi / Earth Shattering (Grants the blade the ability to shift the earth, causing miniaturized earthquakes.)
Ability #3 - Neji / Screw - (Grants the blade the ability to momentarily rotate quickly, granting the blade extra piercing strength.)
Ability #4 - Shinkirou / Mirage (Grants the blade the ability to split apart into two or more separate weapons. Limited in the fact that it decreases in size as it continues to split. Secondary blade gains several of the original blades abilities such as Kongouseki, but otherwise loses over 3/4's of the 108 abilities it's original form can perform.)
Ability #5 - Suterusu / Stealth (Grants the blade the ability to strike any solid object to produce a smokescreen/mist/fog effect. Does not work when striking liquid substances.)
Ability #6 - Hirameku / Flash of Thunder (Grants the blade the ability produce a pressurized shockwave when striking a solid object. Produces eardrum bursting sound that harms both the user and the opponents in the vicinity.)
Ability #78 - Kongouseki / Unbreakable (Makes the blade indestructible. Cannot be shattered, cut, melted, etc.)
Ability #17 - Kara Resu Kire / Colorless Slice (Grants the blade the ability to produce a colorless wave of energy that is capable of slicing boulders in two. Strong enough to severely damage weapons and armor if used repeatedly.)
Ability #101 - Netsubou / Burning Desire (Grants the blade the ability to produce flames at will. Also grants the blade the ability to change its solid form into pure flames, allowing the wielder to change the size of the blade at will.)
Ability #60 - Inabikari / Flash of Lightning (Grants the blade the ability to move at the speed of lightning for a few seconds, allowing the wielder to deal an impossible counter attack or quick surprise attack. Depending on the physique of the wielder, this stress on their body when using this ability can range from moderately damaging to bone shattering damage.)
I could continue with the abilities, but it'll take a pretty long time to list them all without contradicting myself or making duplicate abilities.
Background/Story: Many legends surround this blade. Some say that it once shattered one of the 13 moons of the Silver Heavens to save the world from impending disaster. Some say that it sealed the souls of 108 demons within itself and gained the ability to utilize their powers. Regardless of what the rumors say about the blade, it remains a well-known fact that every wielder of the legendary weapon has never lost a battle, no matter how bad the odds are stacked against them.

Name: Dageki Unchi Appu (it sounds cool and all until you know what it means lol)
Appearance: Its a type of gunblade... Designed like a huge arming sword(Zelda's Master sword) with 2 fully functional shotgun barrels, 1 on each blunt side of the sword and it has a tilted handle(where the trigger is to make aiming possible.
Abilities: Aside from the obvious sword function, it can fire different times of ammo in different ways depending on its current attachment. From handgun mode to machine gun mode. Sniper to shotgun and everything in between. Its 2 default firing modes are standard shotgun and grenade launcher. If the wielder can use magic it can be transferred into the gunblade and shot out through the barrels for extra rage and potency. It can also lock its barrels and still shoot grenades and some types of magic that creates a mini explosion around the blade by releasing the force of the grenade or magic through the blade's microscopic pores.
Backstory: This is, by no means, a "legendary blade". Its massed produced to be the default weapon for the land's military forces. Even though its designed to last years of constant battle, after a couple of uses it looks worn out. For the exception of one... It kept its shine through months of rigorous combat... In the hands of a rookie no less! Some stuff about it being build from a legendary sword later(don't wanna give too many spoilers), the young rookie finds out the evel thats causing the endless combat can only be stopped by that precise sword!

Weapon Name: えたいが知れない終盤 (Enigmatic Endgame)
Appearance: An unusual Japanese uchigatana, slightly longer than one would expect from such a blade. Has a faint blue glow and has an inscription trailing down the blade that reads:
ソウルのソウル (Soul of Soul)
Ability: Having a conscious mind of it's own, the blade has the ability to transcend not only physical form, but reality itself, completely disappearing and reappearing at will. Can reappear inside of objects instantly repelling anything that was there outwards. Needless to say, if it reappears inside of you, you're dead.
Downsides: It can't do this forever, and requires the sacrifice of Souls as a sort of currency or resource pool to draw from. Again, needless to say, if you don't have the power to extract souls, you die.
Backstory: *Okay I'm writing a book, so If I were to sum it up, it wouldn't make sense.

Okay, in case you haven't already figured it out, I like to role play a lot. So, I have a question for all of you who have posted in this thread and created a weapon that is a sword or gun, or any weapon made of metal. Particularly Metus, as his Ability #78, Kongouseki, is highly relevant to this.
One of my friends is kind of really Mary-Sue ish when she role plays and has a lot of BS abilities. One of them is some kind of insignia on her hand that has the inexplicable ability to completely destroy any kind of metal. There is little other explanation to it; it has no drawbacks, no sort of 'charge time', no special circumstances required to enable it to work. All she has to do is touch your metal sword and it breaks because she wills it to. (I know, BSery. Just bear with me.)
So, those of you who made a sword (or any other type of metallic weapon), how do you counter this obnoxious ability?

Compare Ability 1 & 60 together. Your strike will momentarily enter the speed of lighting + the soul rendering ability = instant death if you land a direct blow.
Ability #17 - Her ability can't destroy something she can't exactly see.
Ability #101 - Switch forms into pure flames. It's no longer metal. Cook her alive with the flames.
