The Allied Confederacy was started by three alien races who united as opposed to obliterating each other upon making contact. These three aliens consider each other equals and the races have different functions. The Barenvorg make up the military and merchant arm. The Erbis handle administrative, medical and financial issues and the Ulugs are the builders and shipwrights. Dirdelk immigrants may be assigned to any of the departments. The Allied Confederacy has three presidents from the three original races that serve a ten year term before new presidents are elected.
